Cosy, modern city hotel. Centrally located in Agios Nikolaos with panoramic views of the sea and the Bay of Mirabello. Nearby shops, souvenir shops, bars and taverns. Recommend for young people, but also for anyone who intends to travel around the island.

Location: on the seafront of the resort town of Agios Nikolaos is 64 km from the airport of Heraklion. A bus stop 100 metres from the hotel.

Consists of one five-story building with Elevator.

The hotel has 46 rooms.

Beach: city (50 meters from the hotel, marked by a Blue flag) sandy-pebble, 1 line. Entrance to the sea stony. Recommended special shoes. Changing cabins, shower. On the beach umbrellas, sun beds: free.

Beautiful location, the atmosphere in the hotel is like from the 80 is very old, the room is still from the 80s with the smell of chlorine, the bathroom has a bathtub but no plug, this is because there is no hot water and you have to take short and cold showers, the electricity meter is in the room and it is very noisy!

The location of El Greco Hotel is great. It's worth taking a room with a sea view, otherwise you end up seeing a hole-like courtyard, which, however, has plants. The additional charge for air conditioning is a rather salty 8eur/day/person, and the power of the air conditioning leaves much to be desired. The facilities are a bit shabby but clean. A cleaner visited the room every day. You can eat well at breakfast, although the offer is pretty much the same every morning. The staff is friendly. There is no swimming pool, but the beach is wonderfully close.

we loved this hotel! ok, the room could have been bigger, the shower could have been better, but the view from the balcony and the absolutely lovely staff made us forget these little flaws. The location of the hotel is 10+. Recommend to book seaview room👍

Great stay. Loved this hotel. View was fantastic, staff very friendly and breakfast good. Hotel slightly tired in places but you didn’t really notice this because the situation was so good, and staff so friendly. We would definitely return. Thank you

Top of my review must be Angela and George who work on reception, they are both really friendly and helpful, they advised us where to eat, the best beaches, places of interest to visit, Angela even found me a good shop to purchase a lovely handbag, nothing was too much trouble! A room with a sea view is a must, the view from our balcony was beautiful. The room was cleaned every day. The ladies who done breakfast always welcomed us every morning with a cheery greeting and a nice choice of buffet. The hotel is in the best location just a short walk to everything. On Angela's advice we took the Little train tour into the mountains to the ancient village of Krista which was very interesting and worthwhile trip. We also went to Spinalonga. There are plenty of different trips available. If you read this Angela and George thank you for making our stay enjoyable and we hope that bike has been swapped for a car Buh!!!!

Positive :
Overall a good place to stay, clean and quiet. Furniture and decor a bit tired. Only one pillow per person. Bed mattress also far too hard.
Good AC, balcony also quite spacious.
Negative:
Only 2 glasses, 2 mugs and 2 tea spoon.
Zero possibility when I requested a plate to enjoy a fruit, no ice, no shower facilities for evening check out, no AC at the reception area. Not a nice experience at all we have to wait outside of the hotel to dry our shirts

The room with the sea view was fantastic. The room was clean and cleaning is done both on request and without. The breakfast was tasty and surprisingly versatile considering the star rating, the products were fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect. There are no sounds from the environment in the room and during our stay the neighbors were calm and quiet. Air conditioning is chargeable, but it was provided for and does not reduce the functionality of the hotel. Thank you for a very good Crete experience, of which the hotel is essentially a part.

This was our third time in Agios Nikolaos, and the second time at El Greco. We love the hotel, the staff are perfect and the sea view from our balcony was stunning. We will definitely be coming back! Special thanks to George at the reception, thank you for your friendship, advice and help!

We stayed for a week and enjoyed every single moment. The owners were wonderfully kind and welcoming, the rooms spotless and quiet, and the large balcony had a breathtaking sea view.

We were looking g for last minute over night accommodation and Nicolas could not have been more welcoming ans sorted us a room. The room was great bed was just right and the room had everything we needed. Room 7 had lovely view of sea and mountains. We will still stay again and highly recommended efharisto.

We are from Germany and we stayed some days in the apartments. Very beautiful apartment with nice view. The room has a high-quality in equipment and the bathroom is also very nice. We can fully recommend it.

Fantastic location, central but quiet. Recently renovated comfortable rooms. Extremely friendly and helpful hosts. Very cosy bar downstairs. Only a few minutes walk to nice beaches, as well as to the city center. We really enjoyed our time here!

Great apartment-hotel with a stunning view, wonderful location, and a very friendly and kind owner! There are two beaches very nearby, and the rest of the city is within easy walking distance. It was so convenient to have a kitchen and fridge. Thanks for a great stay!
