Reviews
We rented a room with a private pool. The private pool was dirtier, where the water bordered the edge, it was quite green and the fence to the pool area did not have a gate. The deckchairs were not cleaned for a long time - a lot of webs and dirt which we had to clean manually. But the pool was cleaned out of bugs each morning.
The hotel promised a dedicated fitness area; there were some exercise machines there, but they were not available to hotel guests - they were covered with tarpaulins.
The all-inclusive stay included alcoholic drinks and cocktails at the bar, the menu did not include any classic options and the quality was also a bit lacking.
However, the staff was helpful and friendly.
The room had an old fridge that was very dirty, the safe for storing valuables was stuck together with adhesive tape, the sheets on the bed were washed but had stains and had the name of another place. There was no wardrobe available, only a stick with hangers. The curtains also had clearly visible stains. The bathrobes provided were torn at the sleeves and missing a belt.
The hotel had great food, but after 3 days it got a bit repetitive, but the quality was decent. I would prefer bigger seafood selection though. There was a barbecue for dinner, which offered an alternative.
An early breakfast or lunch could be arranged, but an early breakfast only meant the option of making toast with ham and cheese or a sweet toast, no hot breakfast option. However, for lunch it meant 2 slices of toast with a slice of cheese in between - not at all sufficient and not very healthy, 1 fruit, 2 biscuits and water.
The à la carte menu only included a choice of two main courses, which had obviously been heated in a microwave, and one of the menu items was missing.
But otherwise, the common pool was nice, deck chairs were available around the pool (some were a bit broken but still usable), the distance to beach was great with free deck chairs available for hotel guests which was wonderful. The room was cleaned daily with towels changed every 3 days which was great. But there was no option to hang on the door "Do not disturb"/"Do not clean today" sign if we wished.
- No changing the sheets
- No changing the bathrobes. If you leave it on the floor, they will just put it on the bed
- No cleaning the room or at least the bathroom
- Very old rooms.
- The woman on the bar is not pleasant at all. She is never smiling to the client, especially if you are not a young man who is flirting with her.
- Coctails that are included in all-inclusive are awful. Everything else is 9€ per coctail when in the restaurants is 7-8€ with a beautiful presentation.
- Old ugly blankets.
- No hotel shoes in our room.
- Swimming pool is full of insects.
- First room was a real disaster! Ful of moisture everywhere. As in my opinion, they should no-one never Check-in this room. But what do you think, in one hour that they changed the room for us, they put new guests there. It is not appropriate for living.
- No juice. Tea is only black and coffee full of water.
This is a nice 2 stars hotel but not 3 or 4.
+ Nice team of The Jumbo Club
+ Good location of the hotel
+ Smoking allowed
+ The first time, they gave us a horrible room, full of moisture, but they changed in a few days on our request.
+ Food is not varied (especially desserts) but is delicious.
+ The staff of the kitchen and restaurant are very nice and smiling.
+ The restaurants nearby are very nice and not expensive.
