Adrakos Apartments - Adults Only in Elounda

We had a last minute 6 night break and were very pleased we chose Adrakos. We initially wanted a junior suite but due to availability, we ended up in a balcony room ( 16 ) with a spectacular view across the bay. Anna was brilliant in handling our enquiry and trying to make sure we got the best room she had available. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The balcony area was comfortable with a secluded cushioned seated area where we would relax at night. We used the pool area a couple of times and had it to ourselves. Again, this was clean and tidy and a great spot to chill out. Due to the location we decided to get a hire car to make trips to Elounda, Plaka and Agios Nikolaos easy. We preferred Plaka which is about 10-12 minutes in the car. Elounda can be reached in 5 minures. The whole team were a pleasure to deal with, are very friendly and can't do enough to make sure you have a great stay.

Had the most amazing week. Fantastic location. Family run apartments, lovely people and so friendly. Accommodation simple, clean and comfortable, everything you need. Pool area is great and views over the bay absolutely stunning.

This is a family run business and because of this you really do feel the love. The apartments are on a hill above Mirabella Bay,you can see Sinalonga in the distance. (Victoria Hislop-The Island). Anna,Kostas her family,Effi,Despina and are wonderful. The rooms are light and airy and very clean,with amazing views. Beds are very comfortable. All rooms have good air con and lovely oytside seating areas. The pool is spectacular. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday I would highly recommend Adrakos.

The room was very nice. I liked the welcome treats! The breakfast was very good and the views were beautiful. The pool area had a calming feel. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

On the top of a hill roughly halfway Agios Nicolaos and Elounda center lies Adrakos. A great place to stay. Nice apartments, good restaurant, two lovely dogs, a clean swimming pool and above all that the best views over sea of whole Crete. The apartment is cleaned every day, and we had fresh towels every day on request, shower/ bathroom okay. There's a small kitchenette but we did not use that at all, because the restaurant serves good meals as does the Taverna's down in Elounda. The bed is good with mosquito net and ac and we had two sets of furniture outside to enjoy the warm September sunshine and pretty Cretian evenings

Chryssa our agent at Petassos travel said that this was a truly beautiful place but nothing prepared us for how magnificent this place is. Owners Anna and Georgio were friendly warm and helpful. Accommodations are cozy and comfortable. Mattresses generally are a bit harder than I am used to be ok. The restaurant is worth trying, and has a great view. A delicious breakfast was included and the owners were very helpful in providing for us when we had an early excursion. Additionally spa massage is available and excellent..This place is the picture perfect memorable honeymoon vacation and I definately will return..

Excellent apartment exceptionally clean! Very comfortable beds and top class cotton sheets. This accommodation is perfect for families and couples. The pool is exceptional with very comfy sun lounger beds. The view is breath taking and you can't tire of it! Staff are all very professional and friendly too. Noth8ng is too much trouble. A car is recommended as you are between Aghios Nikolaos and Elounda although the local bus stops outside and a taxi is easily organised.

We stayed at the apartments across the road from Adrakos Restaurant and could see the restaurant from our room. We were stunned by the wonderful views across the bay to Spinalonga and the other islands and very impressed by the food and service at this restaurant. A simple menu of locally sourced food which was always well cooked kept us coming back for several meals during our stay.Thank you to the knowledgeable staff and chefs.

This beautiful hotel is located on the side of the mountain overlooking Elounda and the bay. The views from all the bedrooms are breath taking and some of the best in Crete. The hotel itself consists self contained rooms with self catering facilities or you can eat at the hotel's restaurant which serves superb food.

This is an easy recommendation for everyone who is planning to visit crete. The apartments are furnished relativlely simple but contain everything you might need for your stay, including a small kitchen and cooking utensils. They are being cleaned regularly. The location of the apartments is great, it's close to Agios Nikolaos and Elounda, both of which can be reached by bus ( a bus stop is right next to the apartments). I arrived at night and when I woke up the next morning I was astounded: the view is just breathtaking! You can see the mountains as well as the sea right from your window. The food, that the restaurant offers, is delicous. You can taste that it's freshly prepared. The real highlight of my stay where the people that work here, the way they took care of me was amazing! Everyone was so kind and open, it was such a pleasure to be able to have people like them around me. Despina gave me some great tips about what places are worth a visit. She also took care of my breakfast, I didn't even have to order something, she just asked me if I had any alergies or if there's food I don't like and created something. And she never disappointed! Same goes for Efthimis. Whenever I had dinner at the restaurant, he made some great suggestons as to what I should try. During my whole stay, both of them made sure that I felt comfortable and enjoyed my time. Usually, I don't write reviews but I felt like this is the least I can do after the amazing time I had at Adrakos Apartments.
