We stayed here twice—both at the start and end of our three-week adventure in Crete—and couldn’t have chosen a better base. The location is absolutely unbeatable: steps away from the best restaurants and top sights, making it the ideal spot for exploring the city.

Breakfast here is outstanding, and the rooms are modern, comfortable, and well-appointed. The service was consistently excellent throughout our visits.

If you’re staying, do yourself a favor and dine at Peskesi—just make sure to book a reservation! This hotel offers convenience, quality, and a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended.

Superbly central location in downtown Heraklion.

We stayed there for two nights before a cruise.

New rooms, bright and functional.

At least 10 German TV channels. Breakfast was very good. A very pleasant stay.

With easy walking distance to the center of town and a very well appointed recently upgraded facility and excellent staff, I highly recommend this place

The service was excellent! The front desk staff were very nice and helpful.

However, the hotel has a few major flaws:

1. The photos are misleading! The actual rooms are extremely small. A bed is almost completely full, and if both suitcases are open, there's barely any room to walk.

2. Don't use the hotel's toiletries; the quality is too poor. I suggest bringing your own.

Typical large hotel, everything is fine.
It is a good location because the subway is right next door, but it is close to Omonia station, so if you take the wrong road, you can get into trouble.
I got my wallet pick-pocketed while trying to transfer at Omonia station.

Great place to stay in the middle of everything! The staff were kind, the beds super comfortable and breakfast was included. There is not parking for the hotel directly but central parking is right in front and is discounted to 8€ (2023) for hotel guests. Overall great hotel!

I sincerely recommend staying cautiously. We loved the island on our second visit to Crete, but this hotel completely changed the trip. I hardly comment, this impression is unforgettable... First of all, the room smells of formaldehyde, the room design has potential safety hazards, the service is very poor, the front desk and the manager are very vulgar. The only plus might be the location, but there are better options around it!
