Elpida Village in Istron

Overall it is fine, however below for a 4* hotel. Rooms are okay our view was fantastic, but furniture are shabby and we got 2 separate beds with my partner. The bathroom is very outdated, shower is super small.
All-inclusive part is also okay, nothing special, I liked the food but the desserts were disappointing, alcoholic drinks are cheap quality and small portioned, coffee is straight up terrible.
Pool area is amazing, big and deep, there are sunbeds and grass area as well, trees are overhanging with shadow.
The hotel situated in a hill therefore there are a lot of steps and steep road, even hard for adults. Beaches are around 20-25 mins away, so getting back for lunch or dinner is tiring and risky, even with the shuttle bus.
Staff is friendly and speaks English, lunch/dinner time they are a little aggressive with taking the plates.
As for services, there are a few but they are expensive (basketball, tennis, snooker) and not included in the price. The second restaurant (BBQ) is only available once per visit and also very mediocre, but staff was friendly as well.
Village is small, area is not so interesting, most sights are far away and require a car and a whole day trip. Recommend if you would spend a calm pleasant week around the pool, with unlimited drinks otherwise there are better options.

Nice if it was a 3*, this isn’t 4*. Pool area is nice but sunbeds aren’t very comfy and the Cretan beer smells and tastes funny. Breakfast ok but only fresh fruit is orange. Good location as a few restaurants, bars and coffee shops nearby. Hotel is up a steep hill then a lot of hills and stairs around the site. Staff friendly and rooms clean apart from the shower in my room smelt so the drain needs looking at . 10 minute walk to the beach and bus stop right outside the hotel.
