Breakfast was decent, while dinner offered a wider selection and was quite tasty. The beach itself was not very convenient,there were many corals, which made entering the water uncomfortable. Due to the wind, we lost several days and had to use the pool instead, which was very crowded during that time. The hotel had its own parking. However, the one located at its area was quite small, and the other one a bit further away was not very convenient. On the positive side, there were many supermarkets, souvenir shops, and restaurants nearby, which was definitely a plus.

Beautiful hotel, staff were friendly and professional. Food was great, location nice and quiet, easily accessible. We hired a car but not essential. Rooms were clean. Overall wonderful stay!!

Unfortunately, this hotel didn’t quite live up to expectations. Housekeeping was hit-or-miss (our bin full of baby diapers wasn’t emptied even after asking at reception), the “double bed” was just two singles drifting apart, and the baby cot came with a folded adult sheet that turned into a nightly wrestling match. The AC glowed like a night lamp, and with no elevator in the main building, carrying a stroller up the stairs felt like part of the daily workout.

Food was the biggest disappointment. For vegetarians, the choice was poor – salads often came with surprise ham or fish, and protein was scarce. Desserts and breakfast pastries tasted cheap and artificial, juices were basically liquid candy, and croissants only made sense if you’ve never actually had a croissant. The only good dinner we had was at La Oliva, the à la carte option. To add to the chaos, the restaurants and bars sit right next to each other, blasting different music at the same time – imagine trying to enjoy your meal while stuck between two competing DJs. The gym lacked mats and weights, the “welcome fruit plate” never appeared, and the free spa massage for new guests was something we only learned about by accident. At the pool, sunbeds were “reserved” with towels already in the morning while their owners were still at breakfast, and the hotel didn’t enforce its own rules. The kids’ pool had a great shaded spot, but most of the water attractions didn’t work, and for some reason the water there was the coldest in the entire resort.

On the bright side, the staff were incredibly kind and always smiling (even though they seemed to work from sunrise to sunset), the sea in front of the hotel was beautifully clean and the watermelon was consistently sweet and delicious.

A hotel with 5* staff, everyone was friendly and helpful. Our experience was not 5*, we had to ask to move rooms as the first one was over the kitchen and was so noisy, the second was lovely and quiet but no fan working in the bathroom. The comfort rooms are very dated and small, it looked like there were patches over old light fixtures which were then painted over, loads of extra screws put in to hold up shelves, bit grubby. Food was ok, liked the evening meal set up, you were given a table that you had all of your stay so no worrying about where to sit. The manager let us stay in our room late as a gesture of goodwill for us having to move which was much appreciated

We are holidaying in this glorious part of Crete in this glorious hotel. Definitely 5 stars. The location right on the beach is superb. Staff are so helpful and genuinely friendly. Breakfast has a great choice. Lunch at pool bars very good too. Dinner in the hotel Italian restaurant our first night,the best pizza ever. Portions huge here in all restaurants. The whole hotel is extremely well planned and Cretan in style. We just love it here and will be returning. Pity we only have a week. Tip,pay for Seaview superior rooms. View to die for.

We went to Alexander Beach spa at Stalis with my girlfriend and we had a Cretan massage with an express hydration for the face . Padelis and Alba were amazing very professional and friendly.Thank you aegeo spas

The hotel staff are all very friendly and professional, we had several treatments in the spa which were excellent. The rooms are clean and we had everything we need, except on some days, the coffee cream and tea wasn't restocked. The beach is lovely, the sea is crystal clear and there are not too many rocks in the water. The main streets to Mailia and Stalis are a little run down, lots of rubbish lying around, quite a few dilapidated properties. The general situation is good, close enough to Heraklion for the airport, without any flight noise and also well located to do trips out. The only downside for me was the many, and noisy children in the gym (even though the rules say that you must be over 16 years old) and the indoor spa pool.

Made a pedicure with the lady named Boso who was super sweet and made me feel like a princess for an hour. I loved the ambiance, her professionalism and the calm and relaxed atmosphere of the place

Great Place, excellent rooms, quite a good service and tasty food! The approach of the hotel to the menu is unusual as if you have all inclusive, you still have to pay for the beverages and getting a glass of water or a coffee is quite expensive, so we had to have parties separately in our rooms… however the location is great and my family enjoyed swimming in the sea 🌊 and Greece 🇬🇷 is proudly Orthodox which we enjoyed
