Dream Village in Hersonissos

Reading recent reviews what more can we say but fabulous. First time in Crete but will not be last. Dream Village perfect name for this perfect holiday destination in our opinion. From first arriving late at night Kostas really takes care of you. From Mike and Chef all day till Kostas in evening they can’t do enough for you to have good time. Maids lovely too rooms spotless and work tirelessly. All family around at times in day love to chat . Just up short hill abundance of restaurants really lovely settings and food . Beaches are good walk away but taxis available if walk down taxi back also good food in beach bars . Rooms divided in small settings some original white sugar cube set on hill so lovely views . Modern look , beautiful. We stayed room only but some have cooking facilities if you prefer. We can’t wait to return. Xx yammas love Linda & Terry xx

What a fabulous place Dreams Village is, Kostas & Mike make everyone feel welcome, what a friendly atmosphere and also a great bunch of people that stayed there! The hotel was lovely too, the pool and bar area were great, and always had plenty of sunbeds. Excellent location in between two great villages with plenty of restaurants and bars!!

Anyone who knows the song the lyrics "you do so much that you dont know theres a place I go" randomly came on my playlist today so appropriate This was my 2nd visit this year my expectations were not met they exceeded. My rooms was modern and comfortable,cleaned daily my the lovely lady who always had a smile and time to chat. All the staff work so hard to ensure your holiday is perfect. Kostas for me is the key to all this a unique man who goes above and beyond to make everyone feel special and welcome creating a really friendly open atmosphere in the bar .Kostas other guests and staff are who will make me stqy here when I return to Koutoulafari/Piskopiani next year. The pool area is clean and never over crowded great location close to many restaurants beaches are easily reached and well worth visiting. Hersonissos port is well worth stopping for a drink in on the way back from the beach before it gets a bit lively

What a find this place is. The accommodation is immaculate , the room I had was spotless, spacious, light and airy. I had a king size bed, with the best mattress I have ever slept on, needless to say I slept well. High quality Soft, white cotton sheets, what more could I ask for. Room cleaned daily to a high standard. All the staff works to ensure you holiday is perfect, and they have got it spot on. Kostas in the bar makes everyone feel special and the atmosphere is infectious, with lots of conversations and fun. The pool area is plenty big enough to cope with everyone and there were plenty of sun beds and room to move around them. The location is perfect just 25 metres to the centre, and pick up points for any coach trips you might take. I will definitely be going back I can’t recommend the place enough

We were recommended to come to the villages and stay at Dream Village and it definitely lived up to our expectations. The staff were all amazing and kind, especially our good friend Kostas who entertained the bar every night. The rooms were clean tidy and spacious. If you ever needed anything you could go to reception and Mike or Kostas would help you out! We will be back as it was a dream 🇬🇷 Megan & Ryan

Recently returned from our first visit to Crete and the Dream Village, and it definitely lived up to the expectations we had from reading reviews on here before going! From being welcomed late at night by a lively group of fellow holidaymakers at the bar/ reception when we arrived to getting a goodbye hug from the famous Kostas when we left, we thoroughly enjoyed every part of our stay here. Rooms are all modern and recently refurbished. The pool area is perfect for lazing on a sunny day with no issues getting a bed, and the staff are friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely breakfast cooked to order daily. Kostas behind the bar every evening keeping things running smoothly and always entertaining to chat to, whether it’s about things to do on the island, life philosophy or living in England! Koutouloufari is a fabulous little village. Plenty of restaurants and bars to visit. We particularly enjoyed the Woodstone bar, since they played classic rock in there and the owner is a huge Motörhead fan. The village of Piskopiano - 5 minute walk away also has a few restaurants worth a visit. Beaches are down in Hersonissos. We walked down, and one day braved the walk back up the hill. We took a taxi the next time! Cost €10, worth it for not getting completely knackered… All in all we had a fabulous break and will definitely return. Yamas!

I had the most amazing holiday at this beautiful hotel in the stunning village of Koutouloufari. From the moment I arrived, Kostas and Mike were so friendly and welcoming – they really make this hotel what it is, and it’s no surprise that so many guests return year after year. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed for my 9-night stay. The pool area was perfect – clean, tidy, and wonderfully relaxing. I loved the small and friendly feel of the hotel, where it was easy to get to know other guests. It’s definitely somewhere I’d feel safe as a solo traveller for future visits. Koutouloufari itself is stunning, as are the nearby villages of Old Town Hersonissos and Piskopiano, all within walking distance. Hersonissos is about a 20-minute walk downhill, and although the return uphill is a bit of a workout, it’s a great way to take in the scenery and “get the steps in”! I didn’t have a single bad meal during my stay – every restaurant, café, and bar I visited had delicious food and the friendliest staff, who were genuinely happy to welcome you. All in all, this was one of the best holidays I’ve ever had. Dream Village, you really have been a dream. Kostas and Mike – you are truly lovely, and I will most definitely return! 💓

I'm just back from a fantastic stay. We arrived late at night and received a really friendly greeting once we found reception (follow the ramp down all the way to the wall above the pool, then down the steps to the bar). Check-in was a breeze. The room had been recently refurbished, and it showed, with modern muted tones, a comfortable bed and a fabulous shower, which was always hot and powerful. The room was kept spotless by housekeeping, and we were asked just to let them know if we wanted extra pillows, towels, or blankets. If we could change a couple of things, it would be better storage, softer bulbs in the bedside lights, and an insect screen on the bathroom window. The only other thing would be a shelter and seating area at the entrance to wait for the transfer as there was no shade, plus if the weather turned no shelter The pool area was lovely, as was the bar. My only gripe was I wish they had pads on the loungers, but that's an age thing. All in all, it was a great stay, in a beautiful setting, with friendly hosts and spotless accommodation. I would definitely stay again.

Great hotel in a perfect location. Made to feel welcome from the start by Mike and then we met kostas the perfect the funniest bar keeper who made part of our holiday , the guy is an absolute legend. Hotel breakfast really good. Enjoyed being there so much we are booking for next year

The staff were amazing . The pool area and bar area were all new. Though our room was an old one it was cleaned daily .
