Stella Village Hotel & Bungalows in Hersonissos

We’ve just returned from an incredible stay at Stella Village and I honestly couldn’t fault this hotel from start to finish. As an independent travel agent, I’m always looking at hotels with a professional eye, and this one exceeded expectations in every way. Through my travel agency business I politely asked for upgraded rooms and we were not disappointed. We were given 3 rooms at the front of the pool, which were without a doubt the best rooms in the hotel. The location made such a difference to our stay, and it felt like a real treat being right there. Before arrival, I requested that our rooms be next to each other, and the hotel delivered perfectly, all our rooms were together at the front of the pool. The hotel itself was spotless throughout, and every member of staff we encountered was beyond helpful and genuinely friendly. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and the service really stood out. The facilities for children were incredible, especially the waterpark, which was a huge highlight for our family. The buggy service from reception to the waterpark was brilliant and made getting there easy and fun for the kids. Food and drinks were consistently fresh and enjoyable, with plenty of choice, and the cocktails were excellent. Everything felt well organised and family-friendly. We had an evening flight home, and the hotel went above and beyond by allowing us to extend our room, and also providing a room for us to get changed after check out. This made the last day so much more relaxed and stress free. Overall, this was an amazing experience from start to finish. I would 100% recommend this hotel to all of my clients through my travel business, especially for families looking for a fun, clean, and friendly resort. We can’t wait to come back!!

Perfect place to relax, especially for families with children. The rooms are clean and quite spacious. The food is very delicious and tasty, there is a large selection. Every evening interesting performances await guests in the amphitheater. The staff is very kind and helpful. The waterpark is large and recommended for children of all ages. The sea is about 50 meters from the entrance to the hotel, sandy beach, free umbrella and sunbed. I highly recommend it to everyone!

If you like plane spotting then this is the hotel for you. Unfortunately it’s on the approach for Heraklion airport, so there’s a lot of aircraft noise and they go over quite frequently! Aside from that the hotel is clean, the rooms are quite small, but you don’t actually spend that much time in the them. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. We found the music around the pool during the day very loud and boring. There was no up to date music being played. Of what we saw of the entertainment team was very lack lustre. I get we were staying right towards the end of the season. Obviously the pools are cold, but once you’re in, it’s fine to swim in. Personally I think the sun beds being right next to the pool is a little silly, as you easily get splashed by others in the pool. Never had an issue getting a sunbed, even when the school holidays started. We did find we got woken up early by the housekeeping team talking loudly not far from our room. The food unfortunately was luke warm, which sadly is the case with mass produced all inclusive. We always managed to find something we liked

We stayed here as a family and group of 10 in October 2025 and had a great time. We had a superior family room which was perfect for our needs. Hotel is well situated, we went out twice during our stay for food around the small town. Beach across from the hotel is good, pretty clean and really shallow, kids loved snorkeling as lots of fish. Hotel itself - staff are great! Food was a little samey but that didn't bother us and all tasted great! Food areas were clean & tidy. We did prefer the Med restaurant and we ate at Filema one night too which was also really nice. Pools are on the smaller side but still great, just a little cold as off season but once you were in, it was fine. Kids pool was perfect for our 4 year old. Dance shows at night are great! Only slightly negative is that pool areas could have been cleaner, especially near pool bar. We found the kids pool to be the cleanest. And they could do with a new play area for younger children. The play area was carnage at night! Very busy, fights between children and little ones are often run into / hurt by the older kids.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 12 night stay at Stella Village. We were in the 100 family rooms and could not fault it, amazing shower, comfy beds, tea & coffee facilities and maid service daily. Good selection of food, slightly repetitive as like any AI, but nice to have a choice of restaurants, breakfast omelettes were my favourite and my boys loved the burgers & pizza. They had lunch most days at the aqua park and we tended to use Mediterra as that was more outside. Loved the cocktails, well made and some of them very strong Lots of sunbeds to be had at most times of the day, including the beach area, people tended to adhere to the “no reservation” rule. Loads to keep kids entertained, so struggle to understand why people say they’re bored. The hardworking staff are a credit to the hotel, so friendly and chatty, especially round the pool bar and restaurants, reception staff very informative. It’s a lovely walk along the beach to Analipsi which is a small village, we had an amazing dinner there one night and the guys watched the footy at the sports bar another night. Again, lovely friendly staff. The only negative I could mention is that there was no light on the steps at our block and the shower room we used needs some TLC, Highly recommend Stella Village and wouldn’t hesitate to return, although the Palace looks tempting due to the number of different restaurants.

We stayed here in early October as a family of four and overall had a great time. The highlight of the hotel is its impressive water park, featuring multiple slides suitable for all ages and adventure levels, supervised by attentive lifeguards who ensure guest safety. There are also several food stands offering fast food, ice cream, and drinks. The only thing we felt was missing was a lazy river.

The food was generally good and tasty, and the restaurant staff were kind and attentive. It’s just a pity that quality coffee wasn’t available. The hotel staff overall were very friendly and helpful.
A couple of minor downsides: the room cleaning could have been more thorough, and since we visited in early October, the water in the pools and water park was quite cold as it isn’t heated. It would be great if the hotel considered heating the water during the shoulder seasons.

I had not been to Greece for many years and it did not disappoint. On arrival we were taken by buggy to our rooms, myself and my 15 year old son were in the 400 rooms and our friends being a family of 4 were just around the corner in the 100 rooms, which our kind driver took us round to show where they were. Couple of days to navigate to find things, medeterra you can eat at breakfast lunch and dinner but you have to pre book for dinner, same delicious food as the main restaurant but a lovely setting. The food was great, yes its a bit repetitive but just don't eat everything all in one sitting, all cooked well, breakfast omelette was amazing and the hand made wood fired pizzas were so good. Lots of Greek foods to try, really tasty. We tried the al-acart one evening and it was ok, nothing special, felt a bit ignored to be honest as we did not "purchase" any wine. We had a 2nd booking for our 2nd week but just cancelled it as the boys age 15/16 asked for larger portions from the kids menu, main one wasnt for them. Drinks, the cocktails are amazing, pool bar made the best, mai thai, pinacolada, mojito and stella star were our fave. Some of us are gin and tonic drinkers but the tonics not so good so we had it with Fanta lemon (local version) which was a nicer version of the cocktail gin fizz, no slimline tonic in case you need to know. Its coke zero and not diet coke. The bar staff work incredibly hard and long hours, but it was mostly always service with a smile from all staff. Had a fun night at the pool bar for the Scotland v Greece football, great atmosphere, they showed the England game on the other tv too. I left my denim jacket one night and it was never handed in to either the bar or reception Rooms, as I said we were in the 400 rooms, we got to see our friends room and it was so much more modern and up to date than ours but ours was a lot roomier, just dated, I have been told that next year the 400's are being renovated so is the pool areas. For me a d my 15 year old son we had a double bed and a single bed, not a pull out chair. The room was cleaned every day, bottled water left for the fridge, only unfortunate thing was no kettle tea/coffee making facilities and being there with a 15 year old i was up a lot earlier than him so this was not so good. I could have asked reception, I didnt tho. I could go on and on and on but to add in the water park, which was well used, the games room, table tennis, bowls, volley ball I don't understand why people say there is nothing for teens to do in the evening, mine moaned sometimes too, we played games most nights as we always do on holiday, missing their xbox's i guess Always something going on somewhere in the evening. There is a shower room you can book the day before as checkout is 11am, great room but the cleanliness of it could be a lot lot better, it felt like a very after though/thrown together room. Honestly, teeny tiny moans but nothing that would stop me from returning as i loved it a

Checking in, getting a lift up to the room with a gold buggy, exchanging our pool towels for fresh ones every day. The whole process has been perfect. There was a wide range of foods on offer for breakfast, lunch and dinner all very good. Many options for cocktails at the bar! The staff were all amazing and so friendly, especially Lucio at the bar! Definitely would come again.

We had wonderful holiday in Stella Village. Hotel provides various activities and facilities suit all age guests. The food is not expensive ingredients but tasty. Broth soup is special provided for lunch and dinner. The highlight is delicious cocktails. It is made like normal bar. Not like other all-inclusive hotel fast cocktails. Even staying 3 nights, I still can't taste all cocktails, need to come back again to taste all. Hotel location next ocean is good, I'm fascinated and passionate by capturing Photo of the light change during sunrise and sunset moments.
Overall we enjoyed a lot in Stella Village.

Wonderful stay spotlessly clean , room beautiful staff friendly the vip night was brilliant and loved the food in filema, plenty of sunbeds at the hotel and the waterpark, loved the free sunbeds on the beach opposite, ⛱️ this is my second visit to stella village and yes I would return thankyou to all the staff who all work so hard
