Very nice and helpful staff, everything kept clean and sensational location, nice rooms, we have a towels change after two days, very nice swimming pool and the best price in this location, we were there for few days and we were very satisfied

Lovely family run hotel just a stone throw away from the beach. Manolis and his team were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room and facilities are basic but sufficient, especially for the price. Rooms were clean and pool was decent! If you’re looking for a no frills, family run hotel, then Alkion is for you. We’ll definitely be back!

Very nice and helpful owner Manolis, good location, close to the beach. very nice atmosphere! Let's visit and enjoy. Small but clean swimming pool, beautiful flowers. It is possible to organise trips to Balos and Elafonisi. It's ideal for short holidays.

At the first meet, the host was extremly polite. He welcomed us with so much positive energy, give us all the information we need, and also he recomanded us a place where can find local food near the hotel. He is very, very helpfull. The room is clean and super nice, the location very good. I am very happy to stay here and i am sure that you won t have any regret if u ll choose this hotel.

This is a really lovely little hotel. It is dated, very quiet and peaceful, no restaurant or bar but there are plenty of them on the doorstep, as is the beach (across the road and walk down any of the access paths between buildings). We had a quadruple room (211). This is 2 bedrooms with one bathroom and one access door. It had a big wrap around balcony so loads of outside space. Air conditioning worked a treat and the beds were very comfy. The fridge was great and had a freezer box so we could have bags of ice and ice cream. The road outside can be pretty busy but the double doors to the balcony give you lots of peace and quiet. Also the sea can be pretty lumpy and when there is a big swell it is not safe to swim (this applies to most of the north coast of Crete) so the pool is great. Manolos and his lovely family are very welcoming, always smiling and always there to help with information or trips you may want to do. The restaurants, cafes, bars and bakery (across the road) here are all fantastic (and the cocktails in Esperides across the road are amazing). We are a family of 4 with a 12 and 14 year old and loved staying here. Did not want to leave and would happily go back.

I came here staying for 3 days but im loving it ,the hotel has its own unique style,it was very clean,quiet and the manager was so helpful.The pool was very clean and it was very quiet.Felt at peace.Im staying 2days more cuz im loving it so far. I’ll definitely suggest it to my friends!

This hotel ! Not only is it a very fair price, also it is central to beach, shopping and transportation. Rooms are clean, nice and comfy. Hotel is cosy, quiet and and the host is the kindest allways smiling and helpfull guy. You wanna go to Stalos? Stay at the Alkinon

A small family hotel , perfect for people who want to relax! The room was comfortable and clean, with all the facilities you may need (TV, wi-fi, hair dryer etc). The swimming pool was clean and quiet. The breakfast was delicious. The owner and the staff very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it!
