Lucia Hotel in Chania Town

This was the worst Hotel I've ever stayed in. As soon as we arrived the receptionist was rude and unhelpful.
This continued as all the staff apart from the breakfast waitress who was amazing.
The rooms we dated and furniture broken and doors damaged, the bed was like sleeping on a wooden board.
I'm still unsure how they have any positive reviews as just awful.
The lift is dangerous.
This hotel needs to be avoided at all costs as it near ruined our break.

I've read all the reviews here about his place and was surprised in the end. Not in a good way.
The location is amazing, like u can't have better, this hotel is directly in the old port. U have plenty places to go to eat or explore. This is great obviously.
I recommend to ask for a room with a sea view. We didn't and it was a mistake. Our room was extremely small with the smallest bathroom and toilet next to the shower I've ever seen in my life with a view to the back alley (with some taverns in the street). The cleanliness our the room was not bad (well, we had to deal with some dust spots), but u will see some evidence of cleaning in the bathroom every day (like spots with dried cleaning agent). It's just not done properly. The staff was nice in general, but we couldn't find a lady from a desk office during our checkout (for several minutes!). She just wasn't there. And that is epic fail for me. We had to hurry and this was not a good way how to leave. I'm so sorry to say this, but I wouldn't consider this place again.

The location is great, it is right on the harbor and the views of the water are nice, but the rooms are a disaster.

Our room is infested with ants, they are absolutely everywhere! We even found som in the bed. The beds are also rock hard, and the pillows at thin and uncomfortable as well. It was advertised as having A/C, however our unit is broken and the room is about 78° F at night and so muggy that you stick to the sheets and bed.

I wish the rooms were nicer, but it is to the point that my friend has resorted to sleeping on the wood floor with the ants to sleep someplace a little colder
