We have a balcony room with stunning views of the Venetian harbour. While the room and the bathroom are small, they are very clean and functional. The bed is very comfortable and with the doors open at night, the sound of the waves lapping in the harbour create a great ambiance. The staff are very helpful. A simple breakfast is available at €12 if you want it. We thoroughly recommend Lucia Hotel for a lovely romantic and historic experience! Try the Taman restaurant next door too!

Awesome and best location with harbour view from the room. We stayed there for two nights in sea facing room. Room size is small but bed is comfortable. Hotel staff is nice and friendly, allowed us to keep bags after checkout. Best place to experience chania old town.

Wow. This was a great stop. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms, and the view is heavily underrated of the port. We had a centrally located room overlooking the port. Each morning I could watch the sunrise, drink my tea and stretch and exercise in the peace and quiet. Great place to people watch. I felt like royalty from my balcony seeing most of the people walking by looking up at me and smiling in what felt like envy.

You get what you pay for. The hotel is quite old-fashioned, and that shows in the rooms and overall decor. The room was outdated, the balcony was very small, and the bathroom was also quite cramped. Noise was an issue — you could easily hear people in the hallways and other rooms.

However, the staff were very friendly and helpful, which made a difference. Breakfast was okay — nothing fancy, but it had all the basics you’d expect.

The best part of this hotel is the location: right in the town centre, close to everything. I believe most of what you pay goes toward that. If you're looking for a central and affordable place to stay, this hotel does the job. But if you're after something more modern or luxurious, this might not be the one for you.

Budget hotel right in the middle of old town. Surrounded by restaurants and bars. Amazing view and close to public transit and parking. Staff was very helpful. Anyone that comes to Chania pretty much comes to hangout in the old town so it was very convenient to just be in the centre of all. I regret not staying here longer, 2 nights was not enough. Also felt very safe as a solo woman traveller.

Great location, nice staff - they were pleasant but not always overly helpful with suggestions of restaurants, etc. Clean and serviced regularly.
With windows closed and AC on it actually kept a fair amount of the bust Chania town noises out, BUT I did find that I heard a fair amount of the interior noises (doors, locks, voices, etc)
Good value, breakfast was decent enough, fantastic location, small bathroom.
Served the purpose for 5 nights.

This was the worst Hotel I've ever stayed in. As soon as we arrived the receptionist was rude and unhelpful.
This continued as all the staff apart from the breakfast waitress who was amazing.
The rooms we dated and furniture broken and doors damaged, the bed was like sleeping on a wooden board.
I'm still unsure how they have any positive reviews as just awful.
The lift is dangerous.
This hotel needs to be avoided at all costs as it near ruined our break.

The best location u can choose in the old port of Chania. The hotel is a 2 star hotel, so the rooms were old, still very comfortable. The staff were super nice and welcoming. Couldnt have choosen better

and Very clean . Gorgeous views if you got sea view room. Very kind and accommodate frond desk . . Reasonable price . Will coming back for sure

So...
I've read all the reviews here about his place and was surprised in the end. Not in a good way.
The location is amazing, like u can't have better, this hotel is directly in the old port. U have plenty places to go to eat or explore. This is great obviously.
I recommend to ask for a room with a sea view. We didn't and it was a mistake. Our room was extremely small with the smallest bathroom and toilet next to the shower I've ever seen in my life with a view to the back alley (with some taverns in the street). The cleanliness our the room was not bad (well, we had to deal with some dust spots), but u will see some evidence of cleaning in the bathroom every day (like spots with dried cleaning agent). It's just not done properly. The staff was nice in general, but we couldn't find a lady from a desk office during our checkout (for several minutes!). She just wasn't there. And that is epic fail for me. We had to hurry and this was not a good way how to leave. I'm so sorry to say this, but I wouldn't consider this place again.

The location is great, it is right on the harbor and the views of the water are nice, but the rooms are a disaster.

Our room is infested with ants, they are absolutely everywhere! We even found som in the bed. The beds are also rock hard, and the pillows at thin and uncomfortable as well. It was advertised as having A/C, however our unit is broken and the room is about 78° F at night and so muggy that you stick to the sheets and bed.

I wish the rooms were nicer, but it is to the point that my friend has resorted to sleeping on the wood floor with the ants to sleep someplace a little colder

AMAZING location!!! Walking distance to everything. Friendly staff, easy check in and clean rooms. Location was 10/10 would highly recommend! Great value for the money.

This is a beautiful little hotel in the historic center of Chania, and I would definitely stay here again. The location is great, and my room was spacious and beautifully maintained. I had a small balcony overlooking the square and the church and it was the perfect place to have my morning coffee and get ready for the day.

I arrived on a late-night flight (which was also delayed), but someone from the hotel stayed in touch with me through Whatsapp the whole time. When I finally got there, they were waiting for me, which I really appreciated.

I would definitely recommend.

Wonderful stay. Fantastic hotel, owners and staff in a superb location for exploring the old town. Everyone was very hospitable and generous which was deeply appreciated. Family ran so you can make a personable connection with the people and place.

Really nice hotel, the location is amazing and the view from the balcony right into old town, you will feel the jealousy of bystanders as you sip your raki / coffee from the balcony.

The room we got was nice with a comfy bed with perhaps too many pillows. 😂 Room was a bit dated, but includes all you need: iron, coffee machine, hairdryer, etc. Bathroom was clean.

Service was excellent throughout.

Rooms were very pretty. Super high ceilings, great double glazing, comfy bed, nice shower. View over the square where Agios Nikolaos is. This is in a busy part of the old town, so take that into consideration if you are looking for something really quiet - it is not. The cafe next door had 3 great live music gigs in a row, they would stop at 11.00pm. Everyone very nice and polite. Would stay here again.
