The team at the Greek restaurant helped surprise my husband with a birthday cake on our first night too. My sons loved the water slides and pool and the evening entertainment was fun

Our favourite was the white party disco. Although the location is remote and there isn’t a lot to do in the local area the hotel is big enough without feeling trapped. We would definitely visit again

The food is very good and better than a lot of 5 star resorts we have visited. The A’la carte Greek and Asian restaurants are amazing with the food and service excellent

The staff always go above and beyond and always make our holidays the best. We wouldn’t be going back this many times if we didn’t have a fabulous holiday

We’ve just come back from the Atlantica Ocean Beach and had the best holiday. My 2 boys (7&9) loved the kids club and the staff were fantastic

The outdoor gym has everything you need and the pool bar in the evening is bliss. The only downside is the busses but that’s not on the hotel these seem to turn up whenever they want and can have you waiting a while

Most things perfect, the atmosphere, service, breakfast, pool and beach areas. Only minus was the hotel area - there is nothing to do outside the hotel, and also the lunch restaurant had too few options

We ate lunch there every day for a week and had already tried the entire menu after three days

Unfortunately the sauna and steam room were 20 euros per hour extra. The pool Was too cold to swim in. Hotel staff was great and we got upgraded

We walked the opposite way one day, which turns into a seafront path after about 20–25 minutes and has a few quiet restaurants and hotels. The lane outside the hotel gets quite dark at night, so take a phone torch

Service could be hit and miss — a few times we had to chase coffee, and one morning they completely forgot us while we waited for a table. We ended up skipping breakfast a few days because it didn’t feel worth the effort

The swimming pool in October was cooler than the sea, yet well exposed, the sun overlooks the hotel terrace all day long

If you are looking for relaxation, rejuvenation, a clean and quiet environment and above all very, very kind people, this is the ideal place. They treated us like family, and we can't wait to go back next summer.

Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service for that booking price rate. Definitely we're recommending and aim next season trip to the Castro Beach Hotel

The reception girls were absolute stars!A huge thanks to them for making our stay so comfortable. The whole staff was lovely—always smiling, greeting everyone, and checking in on us 🫶

The hotel they sent us to was run-down and dirty – black mould on the walls, cracked tiles, and generally in a poor state. We were so upset and couldn’t believe this is where we were expected to stay for half our holiday

The woman on reception was rude, dismissive, and showed no care for our situation at all. She didn’t offer any solutions or alternatives within the hotel and just said we’d have to go to another hotel they had arranged

We got to the hotel just after midnight, having received an email confirming our booking, only to be told there was a “problem” with our room and we couldn’t stay

We originally chose this hotel because it seemed quiet and relaxing – exactly what we were looking for on our first holiday together (we’re 18 and 19)

I asked about the new hotel – what it was like, how many stars – and she told us it was 5-star. It was a 4-star hotel, and definitely not a good one

The taxi she booked was supposed to be a 5-minute journey, but it took around 15, and the driver didn’t speak any English

Greek style and perfect place!Everything at this hotel was lovely. Such a beautiful,quiet and clean place to stay with your friends and family. We really enjoyed our stay and the owners are lovely people

After many years of resorts we decided to go on a smaller place for a more quiet experience. Our choice was excelent! We found a very nice, quiet and clean hotel with very nice people

Fantastic place, clean and high standard rooms. Great service from all the staff especially Kostas who is a star. Been here 3 times now and will be coming back for more.

Mr Costas is very kind and friendly and all the staff is pleasant and willing to help with anything you need. Rooms are very clean, the food is very good and fresh

If you are looking for a typical and authentic cretan house, peaceful and beautiful place and a one-of-a-kind swimming pool, this is it! Apartments are really well-decorated and equipped with everything you need

No children's pool so more suited to adults and older children who can swim, but there is a playing corner in the garden for small children. Kitchen with microwave and cooker

The hosts are very lovely and kind. The pool and the apartment are very clean and nice. I definitely recommend this place.

Possible to handwash clothes and dry on rack on terrace, or speak to the host for the use of a washing machine. Plenty of sunbeds available at the pool, with cushioned mattresses to put on them

Not to far from Rhetymno (don't miss it!) The hosts are amazing, the house and compound is beautiful with rich history, perfect pool, several apartments that are very well maintained with old greek charm

We spent one week in this wonderful place. The hotel is even better in reality and owners are very discret and lovely

The hotel has a wonderful location with beautifully maintained grounds and a lovely large pool with sun loungers. Our room was quite large and located on the beachfront, right in front of the beach

At night beautiful frogs come by the pool and sing :) We really loved this place and we hope to come again another time

I visited the hotel 3 times, in 2023, 2024 and 2025. It's an absolutely lovely place, with a homely atmosphere. The Staff is really helpful, friendly and respectful. The girl working in the reception is amazing

We had a beach wedding and they easily lent us an iron and wine glasses for a toast. The air conditioning broke and was quickly fixed. We were able to stay by the pool longer while waiting for our flight

Everything was clean and beautiful. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We were a little unlucky with the weather, but that's a minor detail; we'll be happy to return in the future ☺️

Beds comfortable with lots of clean bedding. Breakfast was more than adequate with a decent selection. The kids enjoyed the pool after breakfast for a couple of hours. All the staff are extremely friendly and attentive

Had an amazing stay at Futura, very beautiful trees and flowers surrounded the hotel area and the pool was very lovely! Staff were so friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome

The pool is 12ft deep and nice pool chairs around it. They treat us like we were family! That was lovely

The room is cozy but the gems of this place are Nick & Ava. Nick's ability to connect with the customers is unmatched. Ava's charming energy makes you just want to settle in and spend time with them vs leaving the hotel

This place and the staff is amazing, Nick is an amazing cook. The food was incredible, definitely top tier steaks with garlic sauce 10/10. Ava was an amazing bartender, tons of drink options even coffee if you want

I was here during a work trip but unfortunately we had to move out to a hotel closer to work. This place felt like a second home. Shout out to Mom’s working the front desk, Nick , John who’s funny as hell and Ava

Perfect for peaceful family holiday. Rooms are nice and every corner of the hotel is extremely clean. Nobody reserves sun chairs, so there's no morning rush to throw towels everywhere

Food that mom made was delicious and awesome- today’s special was way to go! So good! Pool was clean, big and safe. Also the ocean and the Beach is very near. There is nothing to complaint

I had very lovely stay with my fiance. The staff was so welcoming and kind , always helpful and lovely. The Rooms were always clean and cleaned well

However, there is a beautiful beach just 200 meters behind the hotel, and many restaurants nearby offering great food. The highlight for me was the beach, it has one of the most stunning sunsets in Chania

An absolutely great choice in this price range. Don’t expect a 5-star hotel, but the place is right by the beach, the complex is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day

The furnishings are a bit worn and used, but everything is clean. As I said, it matches the hotel’s category perfectly. Breakfast was more than sufficient

We loved everything about our stay. The hotel seemed full, but yet there were plenty of free sunbeds by the pool and the private beach

GT Beach Apartments have great facilities, the staff is very friendly, and the apartments are new and spotless. The pool is excellent, and just across the street you’re right in front of the sea

Although the hotel is fairly large, you really do receive a small, family-run hotel welcome. We stayed in a room with a private pool and were delighted with how sizeable both suite and pool were

Yes, most of the staff are really lovely, helpful and attentive, but there simply isn't the infrastructure to merit 5 stars

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely amazing holiday here! From the moment we arrived until the very last day, everything was perfect

The food was also fantastic – with delicious Aegean dishes and a very wide selection of vegetarian options, there was always something fresh and tasty to enjoy

The reception, restaurant, bar, and housekeeping staff were always so kind, helpful, and smiling – they truly made us feel welcome

I wish to keep the place as a secret for my self but they deserve to say to the public that THEY ARE THE BEST

The hotel is new, modern, and very practical, while at the same time surrounded by beautiful nature

The bar serves beer, Cretan wine, and soft drinks from early on, but spirits are only available after 6pm. Poolside snacks like pizza, chips, nuggets, and ice cream were tasty and convenient

Wonderful location, 2 minutes to the beach. Excellent services and competent staffs. Food was delicious as well, and cats will stare at you when you eat. Highly recommend!

Lovely hotel, clean team Cody with fresh towels, comfortable loungers by the pool, pool was always spotless. Buffet food was a good standard but did get a bit repetitive

The hotel was clean and well maintained throughout, including the pool and gardens. No issue with sun-beds either, there are plenty to go round. Plenty of variety at every meal time

We had a wonderful stay at Maleme Mare, right from the friendly welcome. The staff were friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble

The rooms were very clean, cozy, and comfortable, just like home! Nektaria, the incredibly friendly and caring host, made us want to move in permanently :) Our trip with two children was a huge success, largely thanks to Nektaria's valuable advice and help

Myself and my brother had a wonderful 2week stay. Were spacious, funtional and very clean. Nektaria was especially welcoming and helpful She and her staff made our time at the Solon very enjoyable

The hotel's location is excellent. There are several wonderful restaurants, a supermarket, and a children's playground nearby. The beach is less than a 4-minute leisurely walk away

We were meticulous in choosing our hotel and read thousands of reviews. But this hotel exceeded all our expectations

Without a doubt, this is an ideal place for a family vacation, and we wholeheartedly recommend it!
