The hotel overlooks the beach is just 300 metres from the picturesque promenade of Maleme. It offers spacious and comfortable rooms and a lovely outdoor swimming pool. The attentive staff provide a warm and friendly welcome. Modern rooms are tastefully furnished and have a veranda or small garden.

Location: 150 km from Heraklion airport, 20 km from Hania, 4 km from the centre of Platanias, p. Maleme.

The hotel has 55 rooms.

Consists of one building.

Beach: public sandy beach, 300 m from the hotel (2-coastline). Parasols and sun loungers for a fee. Between the hotel and the beach is a road and promenade. The beach is 1.5 km away.

Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges.

The hotel and the room were clean. The room was big enough. There are 3 parrots in the bar area. Lots of trees on the hotel territory including mango trees.

Loved the Futura Hotel. The owners were extra nice and made our visit to Crete so good. The Hotel is so clean and serve a wonderful breakfast and other meals. We would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Crete. Thank you Hotel Futura ?

Stayed here 08/21 A modern clean hotel.Good pool and bar.Very friendly/welcoming staff.Bar food excellent and breakfast is continental all good quality but being British I did miss the eggs and bacon.Large one bed apartment with sea view very clean.Lots of steps around premises you need to be fit.A bit to far away from the restaurants and the stoney beach for us. Thanks to George and Nick plus family for a pleasant stay

We had the best time here on a working holiday, for 2 weeks. It’s 5 min walk from the beach and Platanias and Chania are easy to get to with a frequent bus. Chilling by the pool was our favourite pastime when not working. The food and the cocktails at the restaurant and pool bar were amazing and the staff George and Nick are incredible hosts with great chat. Futura felt like a home for us and the guys like family. Highly recommend, would come back in an instant.

Beautiful gardens, pool and bar area set in a nice location near a good bus route to other popular attractions. Downside is that the food and drink menu is expensive and so is the shop which is situated on the premises. We used a little supermarket further along the road which was much cheaper. There were also many extra costs which added a fair expense to the holiday such as paying for the wi-fi, air con and towels for the pool. On top of this there are no complimentary toiletries for travelers who have hand luggage only, and there are no cloths, washing liquid, teatowels etc in the kitchens of these self catering appartments.
