GT Beach in Maleme

An absolutely great choice in this price range. Don’t expect a 5-star hotel, but the place is right by the beach, the complex is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day. The furnishings are a bit worn and used, but everything is clean. As I said, it matches the hotel’s category perfectly. Breakfast was more than sufficient. The room was spacious enough. The fridge made a bit of noise at night, so sleeping on the sofa bed next to it wasn’t entirely comfortable… but that’s just a minor detail.

GT Beach Apartments have great facilities, the staff is very friendly, and the apartments are new and spotless. The pool is excellent, and just across the street you’re right in front of the sea. The breakfast was good as well. The only downside was that the internet could be better.

We had a decent stay at GT Beach Hotel. One of the positives was that they responded to our email very quickly, which we really appreciated. However, the room was described on Booking.com as having a sea view, but in reality, it didn’t face the sea at all — that was a bit disappointing.

We arrived after the reception had already closed, but we had no problem getting our room key. There was a clear map showing how to find it, which made things easy.

The breakfast was very basic — not much variety, and the quality was just okay. But for the price, it was more or less what we expected. The pool was clean and had a pleasant temperature, although not many people used it during our stay.

We stayed in the family room, which was simple and nothing special, but it was clean and had a large terrace, which was a nice bonus.

Overall, GT Beach Hotel is not a bad place, just don’t expect anything luxurious. It’s a quiet, no-frills hotel — but at a very good price. We paid 74,000 HUF per night for 4 people for 5 nights, which is very reasonable.

We loved everything about our stay. The hotel seemed full, but yet there were plenty of free sunbeds by the pool and the private beach. The best part of the hotel is the private beach, as it is very quiet and the beach is very clean. The hotel is isolated but still very accessible, so well suited for a few days of relaxation.

The best staff! So friendly and helpful. The hotel was really good, comfortable beds, close to the sea and a swimmingpool. The breakfast was as well very good.

We had an amazing experience here, clean rooms with sea view, good breakfast and very friendly staff. The atmosphere is great all day with the pool and the beach nearby. Plus that is close to taverns and half an hour drive to Chania. Really recommend!

What an absolute bargain of a place! Staff warm and friendly, rooms clean and spacious, great location, nice reasonably priced bar, free breakfast and free sun loungers on the beach. Walking distance to some shops and restaurants. We would come back!
