Nice small friendly hotel maid service excellent especially Georgia very good only downside very small TV have to stand very close 🧐but overall had a great time the location was excellent which was ideal for my sister who can't walk to far so everything within close distance beach , taverna's etc

We had a good time in this hotel, we were really happy with the breakfast they offer and with its staff as well. Also the cleaners came almost everyday (6/7), which was great for us. Can't say the same for the room, it had a very old AC system and the toilet wasn't in good hygiene condition ( all around the shower there was what I think is mould) and the sink was creaking. Also they only have 3 spaces to park the car that are obviously always occupied and you have to find a park around the hotel which isn't full of it.

It’s really unfortunate that I have to give this hotel only two stars, because most of the staff here are wonderful. Receptionists, restaurant staff, and everyone else deserve five stars — they were kind, professional, and welcoming. The food was also excellent.

The problem was the cleaning service. The room was cleaned, but not properly — my skin actually suffered, and I saw a couple of cockroaches in the bathroom. On top of that, the night before we left, 100 euros went missing from my wallet. I am very careful with money, and I know it was taken. Sadly, this completely overshadowed our stay.

Another odd detail: the AC installation is literally inside the bathroom, hidden behind a little door in the shower. The hotel said it’s the same in every room. It was a strange and uncomfortable design choice, and we tried not to shower directly next to it.

Overall, I would rate this stay:
• Accommodation: ⭐️⭐️
• Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
• Reception/staff: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
• Cleaning service: ⭐️

If you’re very picky about cleanliness, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. If you’re less sensitive, you might find it fine. But most importantly — keep your belongings in the safe, keep the key with you, and be very careful.

When I was making the booking I saw free parking info and I liked this mark cause we were going to rent a car during our holiday. The hotel has only 3 spots for parking other than that the free parking is street parking. And if you are lucky enough to find a place on the streets. Not all the time, sometimes. Just keep that in mind.
The staff was very helpful and kind. They were always attentive to our questions. Thank you for that.

We stayed for 8 nights. I loved this small hotel, the staff is so kind! Every morning we got different handmade Cretan delicacies, special thanks to Argiro! Our room was enormous, also had a small kitchen corner with fridge. If you're fed up with the 700-rooms soul-less hotels, and want to have fun with your family, this place is definitely for you. Oh, and also the location is great if you wish for a relaxing holiday.

Hotel location was great, if you have children, it's very close one of the best beaches for kids. Hotell stuff, they were always helpfull and smiling. We really enjoyed breakfasts.

My apartment was very clean and cozy, cleaningladies cleaned it every day.
I liked the pool area.
Georgia made the best frappee I ever drink in Crete 💕
Big thanks for extra heavy plankets, because the nights was cold.
I am from Finland, so I really appreciated that there was coffeemaker in the apartment 😍😂

Loved it here! From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed. The staff are EXCEPTIONAL! The apartment was very clean, very comfortable, lots of hot water . Swimming pool maintained very well and is scrupulously clean. The main thing is the staff! The staff are so friendly, wonderful and helpful. Thespina looked after my room and she was so lovely , my room was kept so clean and comfortable . The location was excellent, near a couple of mini supermarkets and a ten minute ( I strolled slowly) walk to a clean sandy beach I don’t normally visit a place more than once but I would return here.

We are a family with 2 adults , one 5year old boy and one 3 year old girl.We booked a room to Athina beach hotel for 5 days . Here is our experience: First of all the semi-basement rooms are actually basement rooms. The first day the gave us a basement room at the end of the basement coridor that was full of humidity and the smell of the room was unbearable. We made our complains to the reception and they told us that they had no rooms available to change. They also didn't want to move us to an other nearby hotel. Here I want to mention that the same day , two young men checked in at the next room and had exactly the same problem with us. But for them , they found a room to a nearby hotel. After all my complains they told me that we will change room tomorrow and also 2 days after tomorrow because they didn't had a room for all our 5 days. The first room that we moved was perfect! We stayed there for two nights and then they told us that we have to move again to the basement again!!!! Of course I didn't accept this and I demanded to give us a room to the ground floor, or to the first floor or to keep the room we had. They didn't want to accept any of these solutions. Finally I had to make a complaint to Greek Tourism Organisation in order to find a solution. After my complain email (in about half an hour) the organization contacted me by saying that we can stay in the room we had until our checkout. Also I have to say that by the day we moved from the basement to the ground floor, no one came to clean or at least change out towels. 4 hole days with no cleaning!!!! The swimming pool was perfect! The breakfast too poor... I certainly will not come again
