Elysee Hotel in Sitia

An older hotel, but all perfect. Very clean room, new bathroom, if you order the see view, it is great. Parking inside, friendly stuff. We had a perfect stay. Thank you!

Nice hotell. We had the Penthouse suite with the big terasse outside. Perfect place in the middle of the beach promenade

The hotel was in a good location near the water and provided free parking and breakfast. The room was spacious and included a terrace, but the shower was tiny. Noise echoed, which was distracting. There was free wi-fi, but the signal was poor.

It's a 2 star hotel, according to the official ratings, which help define facilities not quality. For it's type it's good.

Breakfast...good cold (apart from the boiled eggs) buffet simple 'continental' style, in a pleasant large well air-conditioned room.
Room...ours was fine, quite spacious, serviced every day and clean. Good a.c. Great views over the bay and harbour. No passing traffic, however since its immediately above the street with the restaurants, and where people make their pre and post dinner 'voltas' it's not quiet in the evenings, especially early. However places are noisier towards the little square, quieter out towards the 5 star hotel. Not a problem to us - it goes with the view, so to be expected. Different every day. As the sun comes up across the bay, the balconies get shaded by mid morning, which is great if not going out.
The covered carpark at the back is a bonus.
Majority of the visitors are Greek people of a certain age, but also some young families. Good mix.
We would use the hotel again...this was our 10th time in Sitia, first time at Elysee.

Very polite and helpful staff, we stayed in the first floor, the rooms are decent (they will be refurbished), the bathrooms fully refurbished and very clean and nice. The breakfast simple but ok. The noises from the corridors are heard in the room but not the noises from the exterior environment. If you are tall you should mind your head in the stairs downwards from the first floor toward the mezzanine floor... The environment is clean and there is a free parking.

Great hotel with helpful and friendly staff. We had top floor superior room. Great terrace off room. Good shower too. Kettle and fridge were very welcome. Marvellous views from terrace. Provided breakfast was more than enough with good variety. Great price value.

Well priced in the center of the city

I really like the view from my room. And i really enjoy the beds. Was so comfortable.

Nice location, close to the center of the town. Very friendly staff. Flexible diet options available for breakfast. Convenient parking place.

No second thoughts. Just a bit noisy from the shops at the seaside though .
