Krits Hotel in Hersonissos

I stayed there with my robotics team to participate in the MRC - Global Olympiad 2024 🤖 .
Very friendly people working there, nice view (nature and sea on the horizon), with a pool and an outdoors jacuzzi 🌊.
Special shout out to the cook and the barman that were very kind and covered our every need 😀.
The only drawback is that it's far from the city center of Heracleion. But if you have a car, it's fine 🚗.

Lovely rustic hotel, such a warm welcome when I arrived. They even saved me dinner as I arrived late. This little hotel was a perfect get away for three nights . Staff are friendly . The food was traditional and room was clean. I had a top floor room with huge balcony. The staff allowed me to check out at 5pm. First time to Crete , I will be back again as the nightlife was excellent, the beach and sea were perfect and me and my friends had a great stay

A very nice small hotel with a friendly atmosphere and staff, close to the beach and the markets. Good food and a very pleasant garden with a swimming pool, where the kids spent many and many hours...

Very friendly and generous staff. Cozy and clean hotel,big rooms, quiet, nice view, 10 min to the beach, 5 min to the nearest supermarket. Towels changed 3 times during our week stay. We’ll definitely go back next year!

Good and friendly staff, big rooms, linen is changed daily, tasty dinner with traditional Greek food, very clean pool, close to the sandy beach. We had a great time at this hotel, hope to come back next year

Amazing place, cozy, big rooms with nice view, family friendly, cleaned every day and more then anything the personal made our stay. Very friendly and nice, also very tasty food! Loved our stay here!

We chose this hotel because... it was the best option available for a modest travel budget. We didn't expect anything special from the hotel. The room was clean, we were cleaned often, the trash was taken out every day. There is an elevator, very convenient with a stroller. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our toilet light bulb burned out and they changed it as soon as we reported the problem. The food is monotonous. I liked the breakfasts - croissants, ham, cheese, vegetables, boiled eggs, butter, jam, toast. Drinks include milk, juice, and a parody of coffee. It’s better to come for breakfast at the very beginning (at 8 am), one time we came later and we didn’t have enough croissants. I didn't like the dinner. You could choose something for yourself, but sometimes the pasta was undercooked, the watermelon was sour... On the first night we were bitten by mosquitoes, we bought a remedy for them (like a fumigator) and then slept peacefully. The hotel is located in a good location, next to the Spar store. The beach is also nearby. We went to Star Beach and further away - to the right of Star Beach (I don’t remember the name), there is sand and it’s good for children to swim. If there were waves on the beach further away, we went to Star Beach, there was like a cove and there were no waves. If you go higher from the hotel, you can visit restaurants on the roofs; it’s good to sit there in the evening when it’s not too hot. Or just take a walk along the streets.

Our initial room had a broken shower which flooded the room, we got a new room which even had a better (sea) view and was bigger so a very good and adequate solution.

Breakfast got a bit dull after a week, our only tip would be to change the menu a bit during the week. A egg can, baked, scrambled next to being boiled. A different kind of fruit each other day would also upgrade the breakfast.

Late check out (after 11:00) was also possible without extra pay.
