Happy Days in Malia

We just got back from a trip and it was the worst experience which has just put us of Malia altogether upon arival which was early hours of the morning we was charged €72 for deposit and aircon (the aircon didn’t even work and the fridge was leeking )for a room that was filthy hair allover the shower mold down the wall broken plugs and lights hanging of the wall which we was charged for at the end of our stay we was also charged for marks down the bedsheets which we told them was already there as soon as we got to the room if you don’t want management at your door walking in every 10 minutes and to be screemed at to get of your balcony at 11pm it’s not the place for you

Never wrote a review in my life and I’ve never even had a bad experience at a hotel however this hotel has put us off malia, so we arrived 4am €72 deposit each which you don’t get any of it back can I say. We paid for an upgraded room and just got one we didn’t ask for then they told us it’s bc they was fully booked. Then you aren’t even allowed to drink your own water or anything round pool u have to buy something from there bar? You aren’t alllowed on your balcony past 11pm when the security man is out he will be shouting up or maybe even knocking on your door telling you to get inside (this happened every night to everybody). One night I came back without my friends and didn’t have the room key cos my friend was asleep in the room and the manager tried telling me I didn’t stay here and that I had to leave I physically cried in front of him with a dead phone and said check the bookings like i genuinely booked this with my own name I was arguing with him for 30 minutes until he finally went to reception to find out I stayed here. You aren’t allowed in someone else’s room or balcony which is fair enough whatever, but we was stood on the bottom floor the other side to a balcony and they made us pay €30 each for “ being on someone’s balcony” like what?? All the staff are so rude genuinely don’t book here another thing is we met a group of friends and they was charged €110 for a mark on the door which was there before they got there. It’s so run down and the rooms are disgusting too they go on about keeping everything clean, when they was chocolate on the bed there as we arrived ?
