Location of hotel and our block is excellent for the beach, which is miles and miles long, perfect for long walks on soft sand! The beach is also peaceful and no noise pollution from water sports
After a week at Smy Kos Beach & Splash, we are back home and I’d like to share my impressions. Cleanliness & Room
The room cleanliness was good overall, although the towels were dirty and didn’t smell fresh
Big Thank you to our Cleaning Personnel for Room G4203 in the first October week 25. We never experienced such a warm welcome and accommodating. The room was always very clean and we hope our tip reached the right lady
Cups were only replaced once during our stay. Although they did a good job of cleaning floors and replenishing towels and loo roll, often we didnt have enough towels for 2 people
Some of the reception staff could do with some customer service training, they seemed very fed-up and we felt unwelcome on arrival. Drainage around block B was smelly

Cleanliness levels were not up to a good standard, the bathroom in particular needed a very good clean and our kettle had not been checked (people before us had left coffee grounds in the kettle and it wasn't rinsed)
Great choice of food daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the snack bar served lovely Greek food. Around the pool we had no problem gaining a sunbed and it was quite spacious
We were given the choice and were showed both rooms before we had to decide. We decided on the suite with shared pool and it was amazing. We had our own little patio with loungers and we spent most of our days there
It was the BEST massage I have ever had. The time, care and effort that went into it was unbelievable. They made us both feel Incredibly welcome and comfortable and I walked out feeling like I was walking on air
It was our first adult only hotel and wow, it is in a different league! The hotel is clean, tidy and in a good state of repair. All the staff are very friendly and polite, they really make you feel welcomed
The food was good, lots to of choice and clearly labelled with allergy information. We had an amazing duel massage in the spa and it was so relaxing. A full hour plus a free 15 minutes for a little facial
This hotel is fantastic! Myself and my partner had a spectacular stay here. We had a swim up pool room which was excellent. We visited the spa and I had a Cretan massage - my therapist was Zoe
All the staff was super friendly anywhere you go, reception, pool bar, blue moon bar, room service and animation team for kids! My son loved it every minute of it! Thank you for such an amazing holiday! We are thinking of coming back again next year!
However the hotel location is in a lovely cove, 9 levels from hotel entrance down through shops and restaurants to the pools and then the beach. There were always sunbeds available (arrived 25
I have visited this hotel together with my dad and my son at the end of October 2025 and I have to say for anyone who consider of going in what an amazing place that is!!! Beautiful hotel, rooms are spacious, very clean with beautiful view
Lovely sandy beach with private sunbeds (plenty), food was delicious, plenty to choose from, especially if you like fish or seafood, I have tried grilled octopus that’s very rare to find in buffet restaurant in hotels
We enjoyed our vacation very much, room was big and had a nice view to the sea. Food was generally great, good variety and very service minded and friendly staff.
We are almost at the end of our 2 week stay here and have loved every minute. The hotel is beautiful with great pools and it's own beach. Food is amazing with so much choice and something for everyone
The staff are the real highlight though, always asking how they can improve the experience and never leaving you with an empty glass, without being too formal or pompous
I had a massage with Maria and my wife had a massage and facial with Dina, who were excellent too
Everything was as expected from a top 5* resort. Stuff attentive, well managed, facilities well organized and tidy.
Looking forward to enjoying the rest of the week and experiencing the other restaurants
Our second visit to an Ikos resort, Ikos Aria exceeded our lofty expectations
The hotel is swanky, clean, with fantastic facilities including spacious rooms, multiple pools (some adults only), delicious food across multiple restaurants and cuisines, a sandy beach and well-equipped gym
The rooms were big and classy, real had a greek vibe, they were all with big terraces. The beach area is not big but there is plenty of green space in front of the sea, really beautiful
We‘ve been on other islands but this we enjoyed the most, the area of Palokastritsa monastery and the beach there were the most amazing places
Finding a resort that caters to 11-year-old boys—too old for playgrounds, too young to be left alone—is tough. Grecotel LUXME Daphnila Bay nailed it. Our twins were at the perfect age to enjoy everything here
What worked for our family:
The Right Kind of Kids Club:
Independence & Safety: The resort layout allowed us to give the boys a little freedom—like walking to the ice cream stand together or choosing a pool lounger—while we were still comfortably nearby
All meant we could experience everything without needing to ever leave the resort, they also include a hourly boat service that enables you to visit the other 2 Greco resort hotels for free to try their facilities which was a lovely touch
Bedrooms are slightly dated now, but kept clean and tidy. Very friendly staff around the resort and hotel. Food and drinks are great quality. Branded spirits and hand made cocktails
We rested in the hotel twice. I want to come back for more)))
First this Hotel makes it clear that it is on the side of a hill and not suitable for people with walking difficulties. That being said I must make it clear that it is an extremely step and very of steps everywhere
There is only toilets in the basement area under receiption, so a bit of a distance from the dining room, At the Lower pool bar and at the beach bar
Lunch is served at the Active pool, which is halfway down the site, meaning you have to walk halfway down the hill for lunch and then back up again afterwards, so if you are at the upper pool, you have to go down the hill for lunch and then back up the hill back to the upper pool
6, The all inclusive is only from 10am to 11pm, the hotel info says the pool bars are open from 10am until 11pm, but the active bar closes when the pool closes
9, There is nowhere to get drinks before 10am except for Breakfast room, Coffee and tea facilities are in the bedrooms, but no milk or whitener
We chose the inclusive option and was defiantly worth our money, they had new cocktails each day and there was food regularly, very well spaced out. Our highlight of the holiday was the staff, espically the bar staff
It was a great holiday, a nice beach with sun loungers, very nice service and very good food. We would love to come back here again.
They were so attentive and welcoming, really made our holiday. Espically Anna she was full of energy every night, and felt more like a friend than a waitress. The hotel was quiet and relaxing
A large hotel with very helpful and friendly service. Delicious food, beautiful views, clean rooms. And really good cocktails, Love You main bar crew
Our room was clean and spacious with a view of the garden and some of the sea
Can’t wait to return
What an incredible hotel! So beautifully decorated, such a vibe. The food selection is incredible, so many different restaurants- even for breakfast & lunch. Garden Bungalow was clean and spacious
It's just a shame that the meals are exactly the same as they were two years ago. If the hotel could change the menu and buffet every one or two years, it would be perfect. But hey, it was as good as the first time
Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area. Large complex but very well managed. The beach is their own and the main pool looks olympic size! All staff are very friendly and accommodating.
An unforgettable week for the second time, staying in the pool bungalow with the bar included (breakfast and lunch plus cocktails) exclusively for pool bungalow guests
The food, coffee, cocktails, and more are of better quality and in a quiet environment. The room, the setting, the service, the housekeeping, the restaurants, the games, and the evening entertainment are extraordinary
Super staff, especially Tsampikos from guest relations. Pre booked us the best restaurant so we didn’t miss out on an outstanding experience
It’s an absolutely gorgeous hotel! We had a junior suite which was spotlessly clean and had the most amazing views! Sunset from our balcony is something I will never forget! We were brought fresh water and clean towels every day
We managed to do 3 excursions (Nicyros Volcanic island, Kos Town and we even went to Bodrum in Turkey). I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting beautiful views of the beach front and mountains
Food and drinks were plenty and a good choice for everyone. A choice of 3 pools and a 2 minute walk onto the beach. If we were to come back to Kos I wouldn’t not hesitate to stay over again
There was plenty of choice at meal times and the staff were genuinely some of the nicest people we have ever met! Kardamena is a very short walk away, just 10 mins along the beachfront
The local village Kardamena is just a 10 minute walk and you get to walk on the beach front seeing the amazing scenic views. We stayed in room 230 and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
Our room was a Junior Suite (2 adults and 2 children) with a spacious room and a view overlooking the beach
Just got bk frm staying at the blue sea beach hotel with our friends. Fantastic holiday frm start to finish. The staff were Amazing couldn't do enough for you. They were all so friendly and made our stay so enjoyable
Wacko the entertainment Guy(Crete David ) was our knick name for him worked so hard keeping everyone entertained day and night with different activities. He was so funny along with the bar staff who joined in with us
Such a wonderful hotel!! Loved the amazing food choices, grounds, drinks and very friendly staff. Just across a small road from a fab private beach area
When i booked this hotel it was because weve never been to Crete but id heard of Stalis so decided to try it and wasn’t disappointed, the only thing i would say is before you book check if your actually in hotel grounds or in the annexe, because if your in the annexe its about 100 yards up the road from the main hotel
Just come back from 10 days staying here, lovely hotel brilliantly placed facing sea, the food was amazing and catered to all countries, while we was there it was mainly Germans and Latvians but we didn’t have any issues about it, everyone was friendly enough
Some rooms have pools that you pay extra for but please be aware if you pay for 1 the hotel should be opposite way round because the sun hits the door going into the room and doesn’t really hit the pools to warm them enough to use
One of the best weeks of my life! What a wonderful experience at Ramira Beach. From the moment you are welcome to when you checkout, the staff keeps surprising you
Felt like home thanks to the amazing staff! We loved our stay at Mitsis Ramira Beach Hotel! The hotel is beautiful, but it’s the people who made it unforgettable
This was our twelfth visit to Mitsis Ramira on Kos. And yet again, we had a fantastic holiday. Everything is perfectly organized: beautiful and tidy rooms, excellent cleaning every day, and fresh towels every day
The food is delicious, as are the drinks served all day at the Main Bar, Pool Bar, and Beach Bar. There are two excellent à la carte restaurants: the Italian and the Meat Restaurant
Perfect for the holidays, great staff and food. Easy access for Kos centre by local bus €2 each way🇬🇷 and if you want some trip there is a ferry to Bodrum Turkey Thanks for lovely holiday ♥️
The evening cocktail bars were very relaxing and chilled out. Staff were very prompt and friendly with special mentions to Erika and Edi. Overall a fabulous holiday and would recommend to anyone
From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable – warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the hotel pool and the beach access
The hotel is gorgeous. Quiet and very well maintained. The food was excellent in variety and cooked with passion. Had a pool room which was out of this world.
Buffets were really well organised and there was not any chaos even there was lots of peolpe at the same time. Hotels own app was amazing it was so easy to order drinks from beach or from pool
The hotel complex, pools, beach, Restaurants, food, drinks were perfect. We had an all inclusive break and stayed for 7 nights and felt looked after so well. Staff really nice and helpful
Kids can use this accompanied with adults between one and three daily we found this out on our second day which was good to know & obviously this time is quite busy with families. I would definitely recommend this hotel
Home after a week stay at this fantastic. Hotel ! All staff were amazing. Everywhere was so clean and tidy from the moment we walked through the lobby and escorted to our room, Which was modern immaculate and spacious
What a great experience!! From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with drinks. The reception was always friendly and ready to help you. The rooms and the hotel itself were taken care of down to the last detail
I went for a SPA experience to this hotel and I would highly recommend it. It’s very clean, they provide slippers, gowns, soft drinks for refreshments. I have had 2 treatments booked with Dimitra
She was very professional and gentle. Very pleased with the service
We had a great stay at the Olympic Palace and couldn't have been looked after better. The staff are absolutely fantastic and so helpful with every request
The bog standard "British" foods didn't looks so appetising - but then again, why come to Greece if that's what you want to eat?! We especially enjoyed lunch and late breakfast in the poolside restaurant; being able to sit outside was much nicer than being in the main dining room (which was fine, but being outside is better!)
The only challenge we had in the buffet in the evening was waiting a long time for drinks - which was a little annoying - but otherwise it was great
This hotel has brilliant disabled access in all areas, and noticeably on the beach, where Elton & his team go out of their way to ensure anyone with mobility issues are fully supported, even using a new motorised beach chair to help those in wheelchairs, access the shale beach to the beautiful, clear blue sea
Resort amenities and staff were anazing. Gorgeous direct beach views and access. Huge pool with plenty of loungers with umbrellas. We ordered drinks and food by the pool by using the QR Code on each umbrella post
This is our second visit to The Elysium, and we weren't disappointed again! Besides the excellent food, facilities & proximity to the lovely beach, this hotel has to be recommended for it's customer support & service
Lovely hotel, staff and service were incredible. Great amenities and amazing to be right on beach. Bus stop right outside made it very easy to get to other spots on the island without a car
Overlooked the nightly lit pool and great view of the sea. Loungers were also available on the beach for guests. The EMERALD restaurant serves huge amazing breakfast buffets each morning
Special mention again to Elton, the beach Supervisor, who is magnificent
We were moved from the village resort to the beach resort due to being under subscribed at the end of the season
Unfortunately, hotel guests "reserve" the sunbeds in the morning, so it often happened that although there was no one in the pools and around them, we still couldn't find a free sunbed
The sea-view rooms are spacious and have a kitchenette. Their terraces open onto the hotel's beach or a small fishing port. There are also rooms overlooking the pools or the main road or in quieter corners of the hotel
Large resort hotel in Platanias village right next to the beach. The hotel is spread over a huge area, with many room types to choose from in several buildings
guests, although there were 3 other bars. The beach bar was not for AI guests either. You had to pay 15 Euros for a beach chair, which applies to everyone
There was often a queue at the AI bar, as there was only one person to serve the guests. You could also get food for breakfast and lunch at the pool bar. Very helpful staff in both the restaurant, bar and reception
Amazing family friendly hotel in a beautiful area. Great beach, pools, amazing food, nice coctails, and very friendly staff members. We stayed in a family suite with private pool and it was worth it
We definetely want to come back one day. The only thing that needs improvement is the lift leading to suites which did not work properly throughout our stay
October retreat.
Fantastic stay at the hotel again.
We have already been there before.
It was our second time in the hotel. As previously, we have had fantastic experiences with the hotel staff and amenities. The food was great and the drinks were of good quality. We will definitely come back someday
It was cool. I don’t know what was wrong there, but we really liked it. We have already been to many places, but the people in Greece are super
The room with the private pool was perfect, but the water in the pool was really cold. Food was good, but entertainment in the evening was bad and a lot of entertainment was in germany..
The beds are very comfortable, the drinks are so delicious. It was just a perfect holiday, and we will definitely be coming back again. Also Rhodes is such a beautiful island and the greeks are so friendly and hospitable
This was a really lovely hotel, there was a lot of variety in the food with restaurants in the hotel open until late at night. The food was really really nice. There were really nice pools and a lot of activities to do
Thank you Gianis,Theodora,Eirini,Daria,Nana,Efi,Nestor,Tsampika. Mitsis Alila created the ideal family vacation—fun, relaxing, and full of great memories. We highly recommend it and would love to come back again!
The kids loved the pools, the slide, and the entertainment, while we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and fantastic food choices. There is something delicious for everyone, and the variety is truly impressive
What really made our holiday special was the staff. Every single member of the team was friendly, caring, and always ready to help. They treated our children with so much kindness, which meant a lot to us
The food was very tasty and there were an abundance of different possibilities to try. A favourite is the Creperie which offered amazing desserts throughout most of the day
If you desire the very best of the best, you come to the Four Seasons Astir Palace! Enjoyed 6 days of the best service, accommodations, food and dining choices, views, pampering and much more! Our room was spectacular, roomy, and the large balcony overlooking the beach / ocean never got old! Enjoyed the morning breakfast offered at 2 locations on site
Excellent, really great! The only downside was the weather wasn't warm enough for a swim in the sea.
Absolutely perfect hotel! The rooms are beautiful and the facilities are brand new. There are three private beaches, a heated indoor pool, and an outdoor pool
However, in the off-season, the prices are much more affordable and the experience is even better, though you won't be able to enjoy water activities
To the left is the pool, and to the right is the Aegean Sea – simply stunning! The breakfast is amazing, and they even offer free electric bicycles
Staff took the greatest care each time we played out by the pool or beach. Top notch service worth every penny
Good hotel. The employees also. Beach ...... no. clean rooms and good food...
Our second stay this year! Amazing hotel. I'd accidently booked the wrong room type, and we were upgraded for free. Giannis provided excellent service around the pool
The food at the restaurants are amazing, we can't decide which one is the best! Really enjoyed the pan asian breakfast. Loved the creperie, open all day
Service throughout the hotel was amazing and cannot fault at all. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Beach is a pebble/rocky beach, this didnt bother us as we were happy by the pool
There's an astro pitch, tennis courts and arcades and pool table for other entertainment. Unfortunately, didn't get an opportunity to try the sushi bar but it looked really nice
The Italian restaurant was our favourite. Roula and Spyros were amazing waiters and recommended the best food! Toto and Ana kept the kids and adults entertained
Had the best 10 days at Electra Palace. Food choices great, the desserts are AMAZING! Rooms are clean, have all that you need, only thing that we struggled with was connecting our phone to TV so we could streem
Pool had sunbeds that are plentiful, drinks at poolside can be ordered via QR code. The Spritzville cafe has good range of snacks, iced coffee and alcoholic spritz
We hired a car so we could explore the island but there is the option of shuttle bus that runs to old town. The local town Ialyssos has plenty of shops and restaurants which is a 15 minute walk from hotel
This is our second time back to this hotel ,staff and food was amazing , the manager jhon marc was great such a amazimg and lovely guy ,very helpfull ,thankyou very much electra we will be back
Every aspect of this all-inclusive hotel exceeded expectations, but the outstanding service and heartfelt care from the staff truly made my stay unforgettable
Warm smiles and genuine attention to guests create a welcoming atmosphere that sets this hotel apart for a memorable Rhodes holiday
