Hotels with beach in Greece

This was my third stay at Eliros Mare, and yet again it reminded me why I keep coming back: it is one of those rare places where you immediately feel at home while still enjoying the benefits of a beautifully run beachfront resort

We had a great experience: the hotel is very well located in front of the beach, facilities are great, the staff is extremely helpful and the food was very good. Highly recommend.

They create a warm and relaxed atmosphere that feels naturally hospitable rather than staged. The cleanliness of both the rooms and the public areas is impeccable, and the beach is maintained with great care

The food, greek and international, was great at all occasions (don't miss out the traditional greek dinner you can have at the beach bar). Only, during dinner the restaurant could be a bit crowded, loud

The location is absolutely stunning — directly on the long sandy beach of Georgioupolis, with crystal-clear waters and enough space for everyone to relax comfortably

I once again chose a beachfront room, because nothing compares to stepping outside and being only a few steps from the sea. The view is truly breathtaking, especially at sunrise

30 PM ( I need good coffee in the morning, not at night ! ) - Not enough space for sunbeds, very cramped place at the beach - 5* official status means 15 euros tax per room per day, it'd be 10 with 4*, which would fit better - When I asked for check-out one hour later than usual, an exaggerated 80 euros sum was required (and politely declined

Bus stop 29 is a a 5 min walk from the hotel and takes you to Héraklion for only 4 Euro per person! Ignore the review that says no direct access to the beach from the hotel (unless you require step free access)

There is a single flight of stairs just outside the dining room which takes you out to the rear of the hotel, then turn left and the path goes right onto the beach

Around the pools and on the beach the staff would come and take drinks orders and deliver them to us. A big shout out to Manwella who was just amazing

I Resort Beach was perfect! Beautiful Natalia and Pollo looked after me from the minute I arrived. Always available with information and kind smiles

Caught the public bus (3 min walk from hotel) to Heraklion. Had to speak with the general manager before I left, expressing my gratitude to the team. Only one issue, I wish I found this place sooner! See you in 2026

Lovely clean hotel. We went all-inclusive so had a good selection of food and drinks. Plenty of sunbeds and pools so it never looked busy. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday I would recommend staying here.

Perfect for families with children. The staff is outstanding and very responsive to answer any questions you might have. They are quick in responding to your emails. It's a little bit of a walk to the beach

Got back from a wonderful family holiday on Tuesday! Gaia Palace Hotel really made our Summer! The rooms were lovely and the cleaners did a brilliant job of maintaining them

Third visit back to the Gaia Palace. Staff were absolutely amazing and very friendly throughout our visit. We stayed in a superior double room which was excellent

The beautiful sandy beach with bar and toilets is a short walk with free sun beds for Gaia Palace guests

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Mr. The food was delicious and varied, with four different themed evenings

We were in bungalow 426, a clean, comfy base. Reception staff were pleasant and efficient, as were all front-line members. The hotel was quiet - certainly not much more than one-third full - and this was to our advantage

With so few residents, there were plenty of free sun beds around the pool and on the beach; whilst the music was non-stop, the volume was appropriate, unobtrusive and from our era - the ‘60s and early ‘70s!! The town is a twenty minutes stroll away along the beach front with a wide range of shops and restaurants

There were no queues at meal times, no dishes ran short, and most were warm, if not always hot. Served buffet-style, the menu was pretty stable but we managed a different combination on six occasions

This hotel is great for a relaxing break. The staff are so polite and courteous. It is very clean and comfortable. We are here in October and the weather is in the high 20’s

We did not book this hotel but, like a number of English holidaymakers, were transferred from others we presumed were closed as the season staggered to an end

We were lucky as we had 36 hours’ notice: others were told on arrival at Athens airport! As this had given us time to read the reviews on TripAdvisor, we were quite concerned at what we would find but I’m pleased to say it was a wholly positive experience

3 pools and less than 100 sunbeds for the whole of the hotel which supposably has well over 100 rooms, only 1 bottle of water on arrival rest of the time buy your own, the hotel water tasted as though it had purification tablets in, food very hit and miss one night my sister and myself had fish in a sauce, both of which were not cooked in the middle, taken away by a very reluctant manager

Friendly staff, rooms very were clean, service very good. On departure day they allowed us to keep the room with no extra charge. They have bar at the beach which you can use in your inclusive, welcoming

Certainly not a 5* hotel, the bar at the hotel was round the pool, so sat on plastic chairs at night, staff working there not very friendly, the beach bar was fabulous and Mike is a lovely chap who certainly knows how to run a bar and make good drinks

Been here one day good service,nice food ,in central location 100 yards from the beach can't complain for the price we have paid

It was very quiet when we went, so no waiting for food/ drinks at any point. Know Bar by the beach was great. Location is good; short drive from airport - 25 mins, just a one minute walk down to the beach

Beach was good - a short sand bit, but then it was like a huge stone slab - great for snorkelling. Plenty of shops/ restaurants within a short walk

Hotel beach is a short 2 min walk from entrance of hotel payment for sunbeds at 10 euros each but bar and snacks very accessible from the hotel beach bar. Alchol menu is vast lots of cocktails to choose from

Hiii! This May i went to the Cactus Beach Hotel in Stalis, Greece with two of my best friends

Room was modern clean and bed comfortable ( lacking storage) housekeeping was every day and towels changed every 2nd day. No kettles in room but there was a hair dryer

We had the best time there!! The resort is beautiful, the food was so nice and all the people were so nice and helpfull! The Pink Wave animation team was the best!! We had the best time with them and we did a lot of fun activities, Thank you very much to Nas, Lynn, Samuele, Gabriel, Lina and Alessia! We will definitely be back! The Spa, actually belonging to the Cactus Royal hotel but also on our terrain, was excellent, I had a massage from Anja, she was great! What really was lovely was that the people from Cactus beach knew so many languages

We arrived late at night where we were greeted by polite reception staff. We were given a bagguet each as we had missed the evening meal water was provided in our room (this was not replenished during our stay)

With a DJ playing chilled house music, it had a real Ibiza feel. The grounds throughout the hotel were spotless. Sunbeds around the pool are limited, but there are always plenty available on the beach

We spent hours there playing cards, reading, and chatting, all while enjoying views of the pool and beach. One unexpected highlight was watching planes come in to land nearby

I went to the spa and had a full body massage and facial I loved everything about these treatments, my facial was done by Antonis and it was great my skin felt so hydrated, and my body massage was done by Maria she’s fantastic!! I highly recommend going to the spa

Despite losing a couple of days to very poor weather, we had a wonderful stay. This is a small resort—just two restaurants and two bars—which initially made us a little unsure, as it’s the smallest we’ve ever stayed in

When the weather kept everyone indoors, the hotel handled it brilliantly. The lobby comfortably accommodated guests, and the staff were fantastic—constantly bringing drinks and clearing tables efficiently

However, this actually turned out to be one of its biggest strengths. The atmosphere is relaxed yet intimate, and every member of staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was a real highlight

Ps we also went down to the spa to look what they had to offer and the guy there saw that I had some sunburns on my arm and gave me some aftersun lotion that helped to calm my skin!

Very clean rooms with scandinavian standard, great and comfortable beds and excellent food for being a all inclusive hotel. We totalt recomend it, excellent service in all ways

We spent a long weekend with our 4 year old. An altogether great experience: clean and comfortable bungalow by the sea, rich buffet, very clean swimming pool (and a friendly lifeguard), excellent and very polite service

We stayed at Amaronda for a weekend of 4 days in this beautiful 4-star hotel!! The Atmosphere at the hotel is warm and welconing

Beautiful interior and the Staff is generous and amazing all the way from the cleaners (cutest happy little lady) waitresses/waiters in the restaurants, bar staff (Vivi, Dimitris and Spirous), reception (Daniella, Melina), the entertainer staff and the manager himself (Vasili) went around to meet the Guests! The “gym” is a few bits of equipment on the beachfront, the “indoor pool” is only accessible if you’ve booked a spa treatment, there’s only one massage therapist so couples massages or going together is out of the question

Amazing resort worth every euro. Great location, on the beach, offers a spa a pool an d great food! Suitable for families

Just didn’t feel like they cared we were there, maybe since we were foreigners (but my husband speaks Greek) or that we had kids, not sure, but nobody did a quality check despite walking by us several times and even on check out didn’t ask how the stay was

Pros: An excellent hotel at a gorgeous beach by the pine forest. Unlimited sea view from the beautiful stylish big rooms. Private beach with free premium sunbeds. Cons: Restaurant service stuff was inexperienced

Reliable choice, yes, but service doesn’t match the style. Final thing is they should invest in better street signage since the road that takes you to the hotel is very easy to miss and narrow

(we stayed during the last week of August) The rooms are large and comfortable. Not quite 5 star finishes within the room but that’s not what you are paying for. The beach and pool area are ideal

Such friendly staff. It was the end of the season, so admittedly there were fewer guests, but they remembered my name and room number and made me feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Really recommend.

I recently stayed at this hotel during a business trip, The service was exceptional from start to finish. The food was plentiful and of excellent quality, offering a delightful culinary experience

The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, providing top-notch service throughout my stay. The hotel’s location offered a spectacular view, adding to the overall enjoyment of the trip

Very nice trip It was perfect just only we wait every day till after noon to clean our room but the staffs was very friendly and always smiling and make our stay very comfortable

The rooms are lovely and clean, slightly small with 2 large suitcases in there but manageable for a week! Its a short minute walk to the beach and beach front bars / strip

Excellent customer service from all staff. Cleanliness outstanding. Deluxe room stunning. Breakfast selection comprehensive and high quality. Relentless canned music in breakfast and pool areas annoying.

The rooms were in need of some TLC and lacked some basic necessities you’d expect from a beachside hotel with pool facilities—such as a clothes dryer on the balcony

Great location with private steps right down on the beach. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was for the complimentary sunbeds on the beach. Unfortunately the staff does not hold these for the guests

Also there are signs not to reserve beds, but people do, and the staff does not remove towels even after 2 hours of no shows. Even if the beach is full and people are getting frustrated

I was there from 10 to 15 of oct 2016 . Beautiful place, friendly staff and of course food is good. Rooms are very clean. Just go head and enjoy your vacation. Love from Canada ?

Breathe taking view in this out of the way resort. The rooms are very nice, we had a sea view making it spectacular. There is a main pool or a quiet section on the cliff side

The buffet for breakfast and or dinner was delicious. It is semi remote so a car rental or taxi service is needed

Hotel could be better Lovely room and balcony. This hotel could be fantastic. There weren’t enough sun beds. They said there was beach bar and food. carte restaurant was closed when we arrived the buffet was £35 a head

We as a couple went out of season, we expected bad weather but the hotel seems to avoid most rain coming in off the coast, however the wind chilled the pool area lot as it's quite exposed

Had a good stay here but it could have been better. The area itself is quite secluded however they compensate by running shuttle buses into Chania x2 a day

Sun beds were plentiful and set out on the beach but when the sun moved behind the hotel the whole of the Beach area and chairs around the hotel were in the shade, probably because of the time of year

Beds were really comfortable though, however towels and robes were thin and the worse for wear. Little things like this make all the difference when you’re pitching yourself as 5-star

Book at the right price (we had a BA deal) and you’ll be delighted with this slice of paradise in Halkidiki. PS would have been great if Greco’s restaurant was open in the evenings as an option to the evening buffet

There are so many positives about Ammon Zeus… the Aegean and sea view is everything, with the lapping of waves 24/7 and crystal-clear waters to swim in. Expect a warm welcome and really lovely staff

If I’m honest, it wasn’t quite the 5-star experience I expected. Marketing photos are probably from the refurbishment a few years ago and furnishings are now looking a little tired

This hotel is casual and that’s good but When we where here our neighbors were drinking vodka whiskey and smoking so we couldn’t swim in our private pool the service is not good and the rooms are small but the beaches and spa are normal

A Truly Amazing Stay – Like Paradise! We’ve just returned from an incredible stay at this hotel as a family of four from Scotland, and we’re already missing it! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm, friendly smiles from the staff, who couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming

Amazing Spa facilities with great view! The Spa personnel and manager are very friendly and professional. The treatments I did were absolutely incredible. The environment is relaxing and inspiring

Our kids absolutely loved the pool – we could hardly get them out of it! The buffet food was always fresh and delicious

Lovely hotel, great food choice for all inclusive. Few things in the hotel room that didn’t work: USB plug sockets and plug in the sink. Tv remote was missing too.

We recently stayed at D’Andrea Mare Beach Hotel and overall had a very enjoyable experience. Positives: The rooms were spacious, modern, and very clean — a real plus for families or couples looking for comfort

The beach area also seemed to lack regular maintenance, which took away from the otherwise beautiful seaside setting

One important issue is the lack of supervision at the pool — unfortunately, some guests ignored the rules, jumping dangerously into the water near small children and rinsing sandy feet directly in the pool

Areas for Improvement: While the facilities were generally good, we did notice that the pool area could use more frequent cleaning, especially during busy times

This trip was particularly memorable thanks to our exceptional accommodation. We were assigned a superb two-bedroom suite featuring a spacious living room. The highlight, without a doubt, was the large, private balcony

Waking up every morning to the breathtaking, panoramic view of the bay was an incredible way to start the day. The suites are perfectly designed for families, offering the space and comfort needed to truly relax

We recently completed our fourth stay at the Dolphin Bay Seaside Resort & Suites, spending a fantastic six days here as a couple with our three children

For families, the location and facilities are ideal. The pool area is sparkling clean and beautifully maintained, and the resort offers direct, easy access to the stunning, crystal-clear beach just steps away

Very comfortable , clean and lovely garden view. Pool area nice although very busy. Beach just outside the hotel is beautiful with clear water. A lovely shallow bay to have a swim in. All staff very helpful and friendly

It would be nice if the menu was refreshed at least once a week with a few new options. After 3-4 nights, having the same dishes for lunch and dinner gets a bit boring

The full board menu was a bit more limited compared to the restaurant's regular offerings. The same meals tended to repeat, so we ended up eating out 1-2 nights

That said, the food was very tasty and the portions were generous — we couldn’t even finish our plates sometimes

Quality desk and restaurant service. Although a short stay ,staff was Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

We dropped the kids at the Scott Dunn kids club every day and they were such amazing people too. Ideally a villa is the best format. Thank you everyone, we will be back and we're sending some friends next summer too

The hotel is surrounded by lush gardens and overlooks the most beautiful turquoise sea. The private beach was ideal for families — calm, safe, and perfectly maintained, with excellent beach service throughout the day

Beautiful villa set in gorgeous surroundings. We only stayed 3 nights but wished we could stay longer. The private beach is peaceful and comfortable with a very good cafe adjoined

Beautiful property! The pool was spectacular! The beach/seaside was perfect. Our room was small, but well appointed and very clean. It was ocean view from the patio, but mostly blocked by trees

Atmosphere: Not ideal for young couples without kids or older people, because it can be noisy in the restaurant and on the beach. For me it was perfect, since I traveled with a 15-month-old
