Truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The hotel has been designed in the Mitsis natural theme but structured with so many comfortable nooks and pathways. Filled with lush sofas, flowers and water features

Clean rooms, perfect location, delicious and sufficient food, great sea and pool

Best cocktails are in the lobby bar, do not recommend beach bar, drinks are watered down. Hotel is child friendly with good selection of multiple food options from street food to more healthy ones - smoothies, salads

Pools are not heated if you’re going out of high season, seaside is great. Would recommend booking brunch to enjoy lovely meal with a great view

The beach is so close, with plenty of sun loungers, free pedalos and lots of activities to do (at an extra cost). The wedding itself was beautiful and so well run (planned by Emma from Weddings In Kos)

Every member of staff has been polite and friendly. Food extra fresh and options are plenty. The healthy corner provides salads, fruit and fresh juices which is perfect for warmer days

A very pleasant hotel for families with children. Great pools and a large, two-level paddling pool. Unfortunately, the main restaurant is very crowded during peak season

Just returned on 15 October after 8 day stay our third visit to Kos always stayed at Atlantica hotels this is first time at Beach resort but far the best we usually go Adults only but the children were all well behaved so was not a problem on arrival George the hotel manager booked us in and treated us really special cannot thank him enough what a lovely human being he is

Everything from dining to leisure and entertainment were perfect plenty of choices to eat and relax or swim we were always able to get one of the many many sunbeds gueste did not need to reserve with towels as Dawn breaks as many other hotels we stayed at did

We stayed in the Residences which we were delighted with the whole area is maintained to a very high standard with landscaped gardens and the facilities were second to none

In short: Pros: - Rooms were lovely and kept clean - Good selection at the buffet - Staff were friendly Cons: - It’s a game of luck to get a ‘ Renovated/ Nice’ room and you might be left disappointed - Not the right place if you don’t like buffet - Could do with a bit more staff interaction sometimes felt like the hotel lacked personality

We recently stayed at the hotel in September and initially were very disappointed with our room (418). It was dated and grubby and not what you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber

Been here twice now, and it is good. The rooms are spacious, and the pools are clean. Since my first visit in 2018, the food and drink has gone downhill. The beers and cocktails available tasted very poor.

Had a holiday and family wedding at the hotel, wedding coordinator Margherita was amazing. Very clean hotel, great food in buffet restaurant. Long walk to the room but well lit and good walkways

This is an all-inclusive hotel that rates 4 real world stars depending on where you are standing. The food is great, with loads of variety, and the restaurant staff are great, but a little over stretched

We were very happy with our decision to upgrade. Mini bar was restocked daily with water, pop, beer/wine which was great to enjoy a drink on the balcony

So I’ll start with what was great… the pools are beautiful, we pretty much went to the two main infinity pools everyday, we got there at 8 every day to get sun beds and they go FAST

The check in was seamless, we arrived slightly early before our room was ready, so we went straight to the buffet lunch. The food and salad options were great and we were offered a drink straight away

We checked into our room and we were over the moon, the rooms are so modern and beautifully styled, comfy beds and the balcony view was amazing. The refreshments in the fridge were restocked every day which was perfect

I also love how they remove towels when people leave their sun beds for over 40 minutes. The pizza and drinks at the bar here also great. Staff over all were amazing super friendly and helpful

The sea front rooms have the most beautiful views. The weather in October was perfect and not too cold, all the restaurants have blankets for the evenings when it gets windy

It’s an absolutely gorgeous hotel! We had a junior suite which was spotlessly clean and had the most amazing views! Sunset from our balcony is something I will never forget! We were brought fresh water and clean towels every day

We visited the water park, Nisyros and also hired a car for a day and did a road trip round the island. We did not want to leave and cannot wait to go back! Hopefully for a 10 day stay next time rather than 7! ☺️

Ideally located around a 10 minute walk into the town centre. We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights as a family of 4, room 320! The hotel, staff and facilities were great and would say that they are a 5* hotel

Food and drinks were plenty and a good choice for everyone. A choice of 3 pools and a 2 minute walk onto the beach. If we were to come back to Kos I wouldn’t not hesitate to stay over again

There was plenty of choice at meal times and the staff were genuinely some of the nicest people we have ever met! Kardamena is a very short walk away, just 10 mins along the beachfront

Good shuttle bus in to the town. Would not call this resort 5 star but it was nice

Staff: Most were lovely, didn’t have a great experience with one of the managers who made us feel as if we were a nuisance when we told her about some of our issues, one of the bar staff was really rude and always miserable, almost grunted when you spoke to him! One member of the animation team was really inappropriate, very full on with the husbands and didn’t get the hint when you wanted to be left...

Nice resort food was good with plenty of choice drinks were ok. Entertainment in adults only bar was shocking. Double room was nice but very small. Family rooms around the pool were big but very noisy

It took me a considerable amount of thought before writing this review…I don’t normally wish to give bad reviews as I know how much businesses are struggling at the moment, but wanted to provide people with a balanced opinion

There is a bus that runs into the local town every hour which is great but wouldn’t stay at the hotel again as we like to be able to walk to places. Summary: Ok, not worth the money though and wouldn’t return

The rest of the animation team were great and put in a lot of effort. Location: Not great if you like to explore, only one shop within walking distance

We were only 2 weeks away from the hotel closing for the season and hardly any evening entertainment but apart from that really could not fault this hotel

I went with my friend on 28/9 - 7-10 celebrated my birthday and they spoilt me from putting balloons and flowers and birthday banner on table in dining room to baking me a birthday cake and all the staff came in singing happy birthday

The animation team are so welcoming and made a fuss of us because we’d come back again. Ben, Chico, Pakito & Barbara animation team were fantastic. They work very hard everyday and the entertainment is really good

Stayed here for 10 nights in bungalow 77 with a shared swimming pool. The hotel is around a 20 minute walk to the main resort of Kardanena where you will find restaurants, bars, shops and beautiful promenade

Good sized, quite private terrace with very small table, chairs, 2 sunbeds and fixed in place parasol. Cleaners came everyday and were very good, all the staff were very friendly throughout the hotel

The food choice and quality was the best I have ever had on any holiday, everything you could think of was on offer including Qyail, rabbit, octopus, several different fish and meats every evening

If you are a couple and are nervous about it being too busy with children, the ‘left side’ of the hotel when facing it from the sea is the best place to eat and sit in the day, but the whole hotel has a great atmosphere

Luckily got a room right next to the pool as the rooms at the top of the resort are a serious treck! We used the football academy which was really not what we thought it would be, the staff weren’t great, the female was quite shouty

Excellent spa and massage from Tesi and Savrina well worth the money ❤️ Got all the knots out and body scrub left skin lovely Best start to holiday for me and teenage daughter relaxing start to keep the refresh going

The swimming academy was great and our youngest really loved his time in the pool. Food is great, the hotel is still somewhat divided into German Tui and UK Tui. Would go again and think it’s a solid 4*

Just had an amazing massage with Thiresia at the hotel spa, well worth a visit during your stay - clean, relaxing, great facilities and lovely staff

The room was nice and clean the bathroom could do with a little upgrade, a free safe is available in the rooms and a little fridge that is topped up daily if you use anything, but overall the room was fine

Just back from our second holiday this year at Akti Palace. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we loved every minute. The food, the staff, the entertainment all fabulous

George one of the waiters that worked outside in the main restaurant was also very nice. He remembered what drinks we wanted at breakfast and always asked if we needed anything else

Yes the bathrooms need an overhaul, but everything worked! Yes it's not 5 star, but that didn't put us off after our first trip and certainly hasn't put us off after our second

We were upgraded to a shared pool room, very nice. Room was spacious, lovely and clean with the mini bar topped up daily and cleaned/fresh towels daily

The food was good, with lunch by the pool being a real highlight – fresh Greek dishes served daily. The mini bar was restocked every day, which was a nice touch

Special mention goes to Nicholas and his team down at the beach bar they are absolutely fabulous, we have spent most days on the beach and the team have been absolutely amazing, they really look after you and have fun as well

Bungalow with the sea view was nice, all the time clean thanks to the perfect cleaning service. We can discuss what does it mean sea view but we were satisfied. Our experience with the food was also relatively good

The Hotel is amazing and clean but the staff are what make this hotel so great. Reception are so helpful you get a cold towel and fresh lemonade on arrival, nice touch. The porters are so helpful and kind

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. It's a perfect hotel for a peaceful holiday, it's so close to the sea and has amazing views of the local area. The room was clean and had everything we needed

Nice bar area close to the pool which served very nice food and all the usual drinks. Plenty of sunbeds/umbrellas for everyone. Literally a few footsteps from the beach/sea

Balcony room does provide an amazing view of the Ageon sea, balcony are is a bit small, as the aircon unit occupies a part of it, lovely none the less

we are planning on going next year to. the greek night was a great night. this is the only hotel we have stayed in which as free aircon. which was needed with the great weather we had while we was there

stayed at the mitsis blue domes hotel. 4 of us walked into kardamena about 3 times in the week. we stopped at mammis beach hotel for drinks because its about half way between blue domes and kardamena

My wife and I stayed there with our son and daughter. It’s a wee bit out the way but there’s a fairly decent bus service or not too expensive taxi ride to Kardamena. Preferred the village to Kos town

What a wonderful family run hotel! Father and son, George and Francis were always available to help to make our holiday a fantastic experience. We will without doubt stay there again in the future.

Absolutely wonderful hotel with a great family of owners, always helpful, very clean rooms, cleaned every day, bed linen and towels in the rooms changed every other day, everything you need, including a fridge, large, clean swimming pool with pleasant, not cold water

I stayed recently at the Sunny View Hotel. George and his son Francis were impeccable hosts and made our short stay unforgettable. This beautiful, clean hotel will be our first choice when we return to Kos.

What a wonderful hotel! The family cannot do enough for you, nothing is any trouble. Beautiful pool and surroundings, the terrace and breakfast area are new and very nice with pool and sea views

There is a Bar-B-Q once a week with dancers and entertainment which is a must! The location is close enough to the town (just a stroll down the beach front), the beach and next to a bus stop which runs frequently

Just returned home from this lovely little place. The most stunning grounds and the sea so blue. The pools are lovely and quiet and not a sunbed war in sight. Staff are so lovely and very accomadating

There is a bus just outside reception to take you into Kardamena, which is a must. No good for kids, they would be bored unless they are very little, and just happy with pools and the sea

If I could give more stars I would , I can not fault this hotel , it's like it's run by a family , so clean all staff are excellent, they try to learn your names , there all super friendly ,food is supper, different every day , good choice , the rooms cleaned everyday , towels fresh , would defo go back , in fact we started looking for next year , Hope it does not change Many thanks

If there was a higher score we’d rate it higher,the hotel was lovely,food great,rooms,great comfortable and clean. A nice quiet location but a bus stop at the entrance takes you to kardamena for €2

Very welcoming staff will do anything for you, great for families, we come back every year here sometimes twice a year, its just a 2 minute walk to the supermarket and not far at all to bars and restaurants

What a lovely relaxing 10 days spent at the elga. Lovely hotel yes the hotel is basic but it was clear and tidy. Cleaned everyday apart from Sunday maids day off but bins were emptied

After reading lots of reviews, it looks like some people want 5* treatment. never gone on holiday to expect toiletries and things provided. but this lovely 2* hotel, is so peaceful and relaxed

Clean linen and towels changed once per 7 days so twice for us as we spent 10 days however if towels needed a change sooner just ask at reception and fresh will be given no problem

Family orientated, Stella, Petros and Leah cannot do enough to help you and if any problems occur and are reported as they happen, they will get it sorted

We had a toaster, kettle and a two ring hob plus cutlery and pots and pans etc. If you don't want to eat out. Staff are lovely and very friendly

His recommendations for things to do and dining were aligned with what I had previously researched, so it was a nice confirmation! The hotel itself has a very tranquil setting and all of the guests kept to themselves

A small hotel just by the sea(kind of private beach), five minutes drive to Kardamaina, spacious and comfortable room (the studio) includes coffee machine and good quality bed linens and towels:)

This is exactly what we were looking for and if you're looking for a self service type of accommodation, this is probably the best on Kos when you factor in the private beach, distance to dining, the airport and other attractions

It is a rare place across Europe where you have your private beach. You won't need any parasols because there are huge trees just on the beach. The rooms are expressly spacious and there are enough equipments to cook

Literally right next to the beach, it's a 30 second walk there and the hotel has sun beds out around some of the trees just in front of the beach. The room is spacious with air conditioning and everything we want

Everything was perfect! The food is very nice, the rooms are spacious and very clean! The sun beds are really comfortable and the hotel is next to the beach! I recommend it!!

The rooms do not look like the ones promissed on Booking. The bathrooms are old and look really bad. There is a good variety of food for breakfast but it does get boring during a 7 day stay

The staff are nice and friendly and the wifi is strong. The entire island kept having power outages and the hotel doesn't have a backup generator so there was no electricity in the hotel

Hi, I have just had a week at the Kaloxenia apartments.excellent value for money ,excellent location ,family run business that couldn't do enough for us . clean lovely apartment. Can't wait to return

We have had the most amazing time on Kos and used these apartments for our base. It is clean and functional with regular house keeping. The Aircon works well as does the fridge and freezer

Very nice place, in the second main town in kos Island. The owner are very nice, polite and helpful, the room very clean and with the comfort you need for a vacation
