Best cocktails are in the lobby bar, do not recommend beach bar, drinks are watered down. Hotel is child friendly with good selection of multiple food options from street food to more healthy ones - smoothies, salads

Truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The hotel has been designed in the Mitsis natural theme but structured with so many comfortable nooks and pathways. Filled with lush sofas, flowers and water features

Every member of staff has been polite and friendly. Food extra fresh and options are plenty. The healthy corner provides salads, fruit and fresh juices which is perfect for warmer days

Everything is replenished often and staff are always happy to support with dietary questions (there is also a nutritionist on site that can help!) All the bars provide great variety particularly the Island pool bar

Pools are not heated if you’re going out of high season, seaside is great. Would recommend booking brunch to enjoy lovely meal with a great view

Our room (maisonette) was epic, souch space, well stocked and so comfortable! The back door led straight out onto the pool with our own sun beds just outside the door. The hotel is huge with plenty to see and do

Loved staying at Mitsis Norida. Rooms were clean everyday, sun beds very comfortable, get up before 9am to secure one of the comfy pods. Spaces always available at beach if not. Good outside gym with barbells and plates

A very pleasant hotel for families with children. Great pools and a large, two-level paddling pool. Unfortunately, the main restaurant is very crowded during peak season

The beach was sandy, loads of sunbeds and it was easy to swim in the sea. Really hard working, courteous and helpful staff throughout - thank you all. It seemed a really well managed hotel to us

We went late October so it was peaceful and quiet. The main buffet restaurant was great, so much choice for every meal. We booked the other restaurants with no problem too

A large pool with not overwhelming entertainment and a separate adults only pool was a great luxury to have (wish smokers were corralled into a smoking area though)

Been here twice now, and it is good. The rooms are spacious, and the pools are clean. Since my first visit in 2018, the food and drink has gone downhill. The beers and cocktails available tasted very poor.

This is an all-inclusive hotel that rates 4 real world stars depending on where you are standing. The food is great, with loads of variety, and the restaurant staff are great, but a little over stretched

All pools are in full sunlight for most of the day, very little shade for children or non sun worshipers. Sun loungers are taken very early and limited fixed parasols

There is no iron in the room but the laundry service was very affordable and quick (same day)

So I’ll start with what was great… the pools are beautiful, we pretty much went to the two main infinity pools everyday, we got there at 8 every day to get sun beds and they go FAST

I also love how they remove towels when people leave their sun beds for over 40 minutes. The pizza and drinks at the bar here also great. Staff over all were amazing super friendly and helpful

The unlimited pizza was one of the best parts!!! The pizza is made infront of you and it is so fresh and delicious, we often had it by the pool instead of going to lunch

Myself and my now Fiancè had the best time at Mitsis Summer Palace. From the moment we walking into the reception and saw the view on the other side, we were blown away

The restaurants were okay but were often out of menu items and frequently got our orders completely wrong. Stick to the snack options for lunch, breakfast is great, and the Mediterranean restaurant for dinner is good

Food and drinks were plenty and a good choice for everyone. A choice of 3 pools and a 2 minute walk onto the beach. If we were to come back to Kos I wouldn’t not hesitate to stay over again

We visited the water park, Nisyros and also hired a car for a day and did a road trip round the island. We did not want to leave and cannot wait to go back! Hopefully for a 10 day stay next time rather than 7! ☺️

Ideally located around a 10 minute walk into the town centre. We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights as a family of 4, room 320! The hotel, staff and facilities were great and would say that they are a 5* hotel

There was plenty of choice at meal times and the staff were genuinely some of the nicest people we have ever met! Kardamena is a very short walk away, just 10 mins along the beachfront

The local village Kardamena is just a 10 minute walk and you get to walk on the beach front seeing the amazing scenic views. We stayed in room 230 and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Good shuttle bus in to the town. Would not call this resort 5 star but it was nice

Food: Good, bit repetitive at times but you expect this when staying for 2 weeks. Hotel: Good, the gardeners and cleaners work non stop

Nice resort food was good with plenty of choice drinks were ok. Entertainment in adults only bar was shocking. Double room was nice but very small. Family rooms around the pool were big but very noisy

Staff: Most were lovely, didn’t have a great experience with one of the managers who made us feel as if we were a nuisance when we told her about some of our issues, one of the bar staff was really rude and always miserable, almost grunted when you spoke to him! One member of the animation team was really inappropriate, very full on with the husbands and didn’t get the hint when you wanted to be left...

There is a bus that runs into the local town every hour which is great but wouldn’t stay at the hotel again as we like to be able to walk to places. Summary: Ok, not worth the money though and wouldn’t return

The rest of the animation team were great and put in a lot of effort. Location: Not great if you like to explore, only one shop within walking distance

Good sized, quite private terrace with very small table, chairs, 2 sunbeds and fixed in place parasol. Cleaners came everyday and were very good, all the staff were very friendly throughout the hotel

Beds comfortable and good size, ample hangers, wardrobe space[no drawers] lots if different lighting, kettle and mini fridge

There’s a great choice of cocktails and they are very good and strong too

The food choice and quality was the best I have ever had on any holiday, everything you could think of was on offer including Qyail, rabbit, octopus, several different fish and meats every evening

Pool bar great drinks , good animation team. Cons Restaurant food had a good choice , but food was never hot was only ever Luke warm. Most staff were polite there was two reception staff who were extremely rude

Excellent spa and massage from Tesi and Savrina well worth the money ❤️ Got all the knots out and body scrub left skin lovely Best start to holiday for me and teenage daughter relaxing start to keep the refresh going

If you are a couple and are nervous about it being too busy with children, the ‘left side’ of the hotel when facing it from the sea is the best place to eat and sit in the day, but the whole hotel has a great atmosphere

My daughter had some swim lessons with Chester who was just utterly amazing and taught her more in the few lessons than a swim instructor did in months Lovely location Food was good no issues other than the lack of access to the resturant which is upstairs and only has one lift Gyros van was awful

Luckily got a room right next to the pool as the rooms at the top of the resort are a serious treck! We used the football academy which was really not what we thought it would be, the staff weren’t great, the female was quite shouty

The swimming academy was great and our youngest really loved his time in the pool. Food is great, the hotel is still somewhat divided into German Tui and UK Tui. Would go again and think it’s a solid 4*

Some of it was super other bits not so. Food was excellent in restaurants and pool bar. Rather than say similar to others, we enjoyed it but it could have been so much better. We however wouldn't return to this hotel

Yes the bathrooms need an overhaul, but everything worked! Yes it's not 5 star, but that didn't put us off after our first trip and certainly hasn't put us off after our second

It was really nice, a bit tired in the bathroom, the towels were totally unacceptable. They were thin, hard and grey when they should have being white. We used the beach towels to bathe with as they were better quality

It wasn’t the hotels fault but it was very unstable to get into the sea as there were so many rocks and stones, I witnessed quite a few people stumbling while trying to get in and out

The pools are big with many and kind lifeguards! Delicious coffee every day from the kind Fotini, and the best good morning from Elizabeth the host of the breakfast

Bungalow with the sea view was nice, all the time clean thanks to the perfect cleaning service. We can discuss what does it mean sea view but we were satisfied. Our experience with the food was also relatively good

Special mention goes to Nicholas and his team down at the beach bar they are absolutely fabulous, we have spent most days on the beach and the team have been absolutely amazing, they really look after you and have fun as well

The Hotel is amazing and clean but the staff are what make this hotel so great. Reception are so helpful you get a cold towel and fresh lemonade on arrival, nice touch. The porters are so helpful and kind

drinks were ice cold and good quality. the hotel and grounds are spotless next time we stay at the blue domes we wouldnt hesitate to call in for a welcome drink

we are planning on going next year to. the greek night was a great night. this is the only hotel we have stayed in which as free aircon. which was needed with the great weather we had while we was there

stayed at the mitsis blue domes hotel. 4 of us walked into kardamena about 3 times in the week. we stopped at mammis beach hotel for drinks because its about half way between blue domes and kardamena

You can hire escooters using the HOPP app on your phone and you will find these in certain parking spots around town and can be a fun way to shorten the trip :) Lots of folks hire cars/mopeds as its fairly simple roads in Kos, i think a car is around 50 euros/day, we did not hire but kinda wish we had now for a few days at least

In quiet location next to beach. About 30 minutes walk into the centre of kardamena. There is a local bus service that stops tight outside the hotel that runs to/from centre of Kardamena - 2 euros

Overall, for the money paid the hotel was very good value for money. The service was beyond what you would get at any big 5 star hotel

What a wonderful family run hotel! Father and son, George and Francis were always available to help to make our holiday a fantastic experience. We will without doubt stay there again in the future.

I stayed recently at the Sunny View Hotel. George and his son Francis were impeccable hosts and made our short stay unforgettable. This beautiful, clean hotel will be our first choice when we return to Kos.

My wife and I stayed there with our son and daughter. It’s a wee bit out the way but there’s a fairly decent bus service or not too expensive taxi ride to Kardamena. Preferred the village to Kos town

Delicious food, the best Frape coffee in the area, excellent location. In short, the owners treat their guests as themselves. We highly recommend this hotel if you want to spend time in peace and quiet

The bar is well stocked and they also serve lovely light meals from the bar. Breakfast is good with a wide choice of food. It's close to town where there are many restaurants, bars and shops

Such a fantastic space, people, tastefully designed - reminding me of a big garden with the buildings beautifully arranged … and a good size pool as well

The location is excellent - for anything and everything you might wish to do

We just wanted to get away for a week and Kos was a destination easy to get to with a 5 year old on board. The Nissia Kamares is perfect when you're not into big all-inclusive hotels that can be found a lot on the island

Great apartments on a small complex. The staff are helpful and can't do enough for you. The apartments all have a balcony or terrace and are situated within lovely flower laden courtyards

There is a bus just outside reception to take you into Kardamena, which is a must. No good for kids, they would be bored unless they are very little, and just happy with pools and the sea

Just returned home from this lovely little place. The most stunning grounds and the sea so blue. The pools are lovely and quiet and not a sunbed war in sight. Staff are so lovely and very accomadating

If I could give more stars I would , I can not fault this hotel , it's like it's run by a family , so clean all staff are excellent, they try to learn your names , there all super friendly ,food is supper, different every day , good choice , the rooms cleaned everyday , towels fresh , would defo go back , in fact we started looking for next year , Hope it does not change Many thanks

We stayed four nights at Kalimera Mare. The hotel was excellent, very clean and well maintained gardens and pool area. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble

Hotel is spotless with kettle and fridge , breakfast was excellent as well as evening meals

Each room has a fridge and facilities for making a brew. The hotel is run by the most wonderful family who have been warm and welcoming on every visit and are so helpful to every need, can’t wait to go again

Down stairs is the pub part of Rio hotel food is excellent again if any requirements needed to make meal more to your liking again nothing is too much will accomadate to your needs as I say nothing too much beautiful family and staff

The Rio Hotel in Kardamena is beautiful and centrally located. The family who runs it is incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with great tips for restaurants, trips, and beaches

There are some suggestions to improve: - the food needs to be titled - water dispensers separate from the bar or even bottles / otherwise long waiting for just water - exclude paper cups - hand out some information about program and make sure to update the app (we came down to the beach to have Pizza assuming it closes at 6pm but we were told it closes at 4pm) - have kids animators in the club who...

The all inclusive drink selection was extremely poor and you had to pay full price to get anything decent to drink. Signs of penny pinching were evident regarding food and drink offered on the all inclusive basis

Most of the staff as mentioned were lovely, especially Vivi & Ledion - a couple of the bar staff sadly were less than friendly though. It could be a decent hotel but we feel it will need a lot of work

Struggle to get a sun bed, zero atmosphere, fun or laughter in bar area - felt very sterile. just average, although it was replenished often

Hot tub was of poor quality with very few Jet nozzles. This hotel needs to offer much more for the money it charges

I was surprised by the familiar atmosphere in that hotel. The reception was on a incredible high standard and also Jimmy the Barkeeper prepared us some very good cocktails while we could watch the football game

The room came with everything you need for your stay including an iron & board which came in handy as I'm not the best suitcase packer. The hotel itself is also kept very clean and we'll maintained

Staff are so so helpful and friendly. The rooms are great size and spotless. Pre warning had to pay for aircon but we didn’t mind. Would return here and highly recommend it

Gorgeous unobstructed sea views whether you have a front view or side view room, though obviously the front view rooms do have a bigger sea views. Good air conditioning in the rooms
