We enjoyed our vacation in Oia and the accommodation at Maria's Place. The property grounds are clean and excellent. It is a bit of walk downhill with about 2-3 flights of stairs- so certainly not recommended for people with knee or other walking issues. The food options near the property are very few and most of the food options are in Fira or OIA village. There are some food options in Pyrgos also but u still need car. We had an amazing stay in Imerovigli at the Heliotopos Hotel! The location was perfect and the sunset easily rivaled the spectacular one we saw in Oia. Best Choice, had the best Place to stay, perfect with sunrise View, near to beach , private pool and parking and good staff and on top on that planes flying over your head. Very cozy family-run hotel with a great pool area complete with a bar that offers some food options for those that would prefer to just lay around the pool all day long. The amenities in the room were somewhat aged, but it had direct access to a little porch by the pool side. Location was absolutely breathtaking. Service was fantastic. Our room was upgraded to a junior suite with whirlpool which was beautiful. Wonderful experience and would recommend for a lovely stay. Public pool space was small, but it was never very busy.
