Had a pleasant stay here in this calm place. Situated in Perissa, it’s at a walkable distance from the black sand beach. Takes around 5-10 minutes to walk. So early morning walk plus sunrise is what we chose here. Plus dinner at a beach side restaurent. Beach is filled with lot of sea view restaurents.

Lovely hotel at an excellent location! We loved walking into Oia every day and the easy access to the Oia to Fira hike - it took about an hour to get to Oia’s highest point from the hotel. My husband and I loved staying at Tristhenia! We arrived shortly after a dust storm and the owner ensured that the pool and jacuzzi were all clean before we arrived. Came in on a cruise ship, Norwegian, and took an Uber over to old AI, quick easy and away from the large crowds from Cork cruise ships. Standing shopping, beautiful views, and the food is amazing and fresh.

Nice beach with long walking trail. You can also ride around on an ATV here, or sit under an umbrella and take in the ocean with a nice beverage. Decent selection of restaurants as well as bars. Bus is very much not on schedule, so be prepared for long waits.

A great little oasis away from the busy- ness of Fira! A 20 minute walk to Fira but we ended up asking the manager Stelios to book us a car rental. He was so informative and helpful to all of us. Would stay again!

Understand that this hotel has an awesome view to the east sea, not towards Caldera. Also, its in an island area where you can walk to nothing. Its not near the main areas of the island with bars, restaurants, etc. If you understand this, its fine. Also, many rooms have a loft bed meaning a staircase up so to use the restroom its down and then back up.

The receptionist was really nice and helpful. I forgot his name. We went to all the recommendations the guy said and it didn’t disappoint. The place was phenomenal. We will definitely stay longer when we go back.
