I was impressed by the staff; they were all very friendly and helpful, with a special shout-out to the front desk team. The hotel's design is also a huge plus. My only note is that the standard rooms are on the smaller side, which might be an issue for extended stays.

Clean rooms, great location, and what really sealed the deal was the hotel's exclusive complimentary wine and chocolates. I'll definitely return!

This beautifully designed hotel directly overlooks the Chain Bridge and is incredibly close to Buda Castle and Fisherman's Bastion. The views are stunning, and it offers a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle. A wonderful touch was the complimentary wine and chocolates we received upon check-in!

There was no slipper, no bathrobe and other kits. Location was wonderful. Staff was positive. But basic hotel kits destroyed all these charms.

The hotel is in a good location, but it must get its act together replacing the carpets. The carpets in my room were very dirty. For over two years now the hotel is in the process of replacing the carpets. What takes them too long - and why did I get a room with these old dirty carpets ?

The internet worked well, staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good and the room was well cleaned.  The location is also easily accessible by public transport. The room was an okay size. Ibis is about a ten minute walk from Kelenfold railway/metro station. Friendly English speaking recption staff. Beware of coach parties in breakfast room.

Clean, affordable, colourful. Was very appreciative of their customer service as they let us change the date of our arrival with no penalty despite us accidentally booking a non-refundable room (need to email them directly, not through trip). Breakfast was good, but vegan/veg options were extremely limited, so I would have liked to see some more effort on that side to accomodate more guests.

Right by the Kelenföld station in Budapest, I arrived by midnight and was welcomed by this chubby (meant in a friendly way) and very friendly receptionist who got me to my room and was very kind. The cleanliness of this chain hotel was excellent. Its location is also very good, with a large, well-stocked shopping mall conveniently located right across the street. Public transport is easily accessible, with both subway and bus options. It's also only about a dozen kilometers from the airport. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Came with a tour group, sharing with one other traveller, room + balcony allow for plenty of space. The renovated rooms have ultra modern bathrooms. I really liked the location and the amazing view from the terrace. Initially, I was given a room with a view of a side street, but after speaking with the administrator, they offered to move me to the room I wanted for the second night. What a wonderful hotel! Nestled in the middle of the city center with a lavish breakfast buffet that tops any hotel breakfast you’ll ever experience. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. My only moan is the gluten free options at breakfast. Bread is provided but there is no gf cereal, or other pastry goods. We booked a selected family room, which was surprisingly large, equivalent to two suites, each with a bathroom, refrigerator and safe. The difference is that the room with the sofa bed is smaller, the light is not so bright, and there is no bright window. Overall, the hotel has a very open space. Real good value to money hotel in great location

This is a review for Danubius Hotel Hungaria, as the original Hotel is being renovated and I was offered a free transfer. Everything was great, thank you very much for your hospitality!

I have stayed at this hotel several times, and have never been disappointed. Great location with plenty of food options, coffee shops & supermarket nearby. Nice to have a room with coffee/tea making facilities and fridge. About the only thing I would change is the addition of an in-room safe. Friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely stay again.

Overall, it was okay. It's not far from public transportation, but the photos online make it look much better than it actually is. The parking garage is a nightmare to use; you have to drive your car into a very small elevator to get to it, which is absolutely not suitable for larger vehicles.

Overall a very good hotel, we didn’t experience the breakfast as bakery’s (Artizán) are nearby. But the location is spot on. Penny’s (Local store) just around the corner, tram on the next street and approximately 20 min walk or so to arrive at parliament building. You can’t really ask more from the rooms, comfy bed and decent shower.

The location is good, walkable distance to the Liberty bridge (c. 10 minutes). My room was located in a quiet area of the hotel, far from the lifts. However, my room was very basic with no kettle which could have been a plus for me.
