Basic, but absolutely fine. Room was clean, bed super comfy. Good location, a nice walk to the old town or right by the metro and trams. Great value, no issue staying here again at all.
Recommend! We booked a room for 3 and the stay was perfect. Nice staff at the front desk, clean environment and the breakfast was perfect too. Will be back next time
A standard hotel - clean and professional service although nothing outstanding about it. Would stay again and recommend.
Nice hotel with warm service, as well as perfect breakfast.
Excellent Hotel, very clean, wonderful Breakfast. Very helpful Staff, especially Monika on Reception. Even surprised us on our Wedding Anniversary with sparkling wine and chocolates, Thankyou. Would recommend this Hotel to anyone staying in Budapest.
Really good hotel, only issue its a 10-15 minute walk from 100E bus but the price is so reasonable and the rooms were very clean. I recommend this one

Outstay was wonderful. It was a beautiful hotel in the center of the city with very convenient location. We could walk anywhere we wanted easy. The rooms were very nice and like the photos shown. They were quiet and the staff was really nice. They had big umbrellas to borrow which was so nice. PARKING: very difficult to find and wish there were instructions. You think you can’t drive down the street...
Friendly super clean hotel right in the Centre so was able to walk to everything, hotel on the Pest side Rooms were a good size, hot water anytime of day or night, hairdryer, makeup/shaving mirror. TV and coffee making facilities . Mini bar. Towels were a good size and room cleaned and towels changed daily. We paid the extra 13euro for breakfast which was hot and cold buffet stylewhich were topped...
This hotel boasts a fantastic location, making it incredibly convenient to catch the bus to the airport. With easy access to the E100, it's perfect for travelers. Plus, the breakfast offered is quite satisfying—definitely a great way to start your day!
The room service team is perfect, some of the reseptionists as well. I had to call many times to ask foe any service! The air conditioning control in the room is only useless not working control board! They turned off the air conditioning on my room all the time because the weather “outside” is cold, when I ask and insist on them to open it because I couldn’t sleep from the heat, they said open the...
The receptionists were very understandable and friendly. The rooms were nice but the main problem was with the air conditioning. If wanted it to be turned on we had to call the reception desk and tell them that we want it on. The pad for the AC didn't work so we couldn't change the temperature. When it's on you are either freezing and when it's off it's hot. We were able to turn it off at the end of...
The location is excellent, very close to the airport bus 100e, and the subway and bus nearby are also well developed, making it very convenient to go anywhere

It's a great hotel with a small private parking. The rooms are nice with comfortable beds. There is an elevator, too. Breakfast is so so and location is a bit far from the main sights. The guys at the reception are friendly and helpful.
The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. My only moan is the gluten free options at breakfast. Bread is provided but there is no gf cereal, or other pastry goods. Food isn’t labelled with ingredients so you don’t know if it contains gluten. The location of the hotel is not central, if are a tourist I would recommend staying more central.
It's not far from the Rhine River, making it convenient for a walk on a sunny day. There's a McDonald's just across the street downstairs, though it's not exactly in the city center. The rooms are small, and the facilities are quite basic; the bathroom looks like it's been there for ten or twenty years. The breakfast selection is limited, but the staff at the front desk who help with luggage storage...
The location for us was great.  We enjoyed the walks into the city and crisscrossing the bridges between Buda and Pest!!  The staff at reception were extremely helpful and took their time to answer our questions.  Would definitely recommend this hotel.
The room was a budget hotel room, and the breakfast was simple. The room price was said to be relatively high. It was more than a kilometer walk to the National Museum, with commercial streets and shopping malls along the way.
A nice hotel to stay in if you're in Budapest. The rooms are nice and clean; the bed and the bathroom were immaculate. This hotel is near the Danube River. The service was pleasing, and the staff were also really kind. There was also breakfast included in the hotel. Overall, a great experience at the Ibis Styles Budapest City

First at check in they told us that there is no breakfast, altho it said otherwise booking the Hotel (but we got discount of the room because of it). There were no towels in the room when we came, and on third day of visit when we asked for the clean towels, they told us that they dont have any more towels and we didn't get one.Hair dryer of the room didn't work. Room is small and bed mattress is horrible. Breakfast is super simple… elevator only one is working, another I not work…I don’t know about price for per night. It’s not I make reservation. But if have budget. Better choice other one.
Well the best is about location - there is Keleti r/w station nearby and metro’s entrance right at the hotel’s exit. It’s good 3*** maximum. Breakfast for 6€ is so so.
Located in the center of Budapest near the railway station. Clean rooms, polite staff. Close to the subway, very convenient to get anywhere in the city
Very good breakfasts.Rooms also good , small but if u coming to this city u will need room for sleeping and recreation not for dancing , remember that!=)
Very central location (opp. Budapest Keleti Palyaudvar), the hotel rooms are basic but clean and tidy, however slightly dated (my room was 414). Hotel staff were friendly and spoke good English, and the breakfast was good, and I enjoyed the more local offerings, but had hoped for maybe a toast machine or something.

This is a review for Danubius Hotel Hungaria, as the original Hotel is being renovated and I was offered a free transfer. Everything was great, thank you very much for your hospitality!
We arrived early in the morning, the staff was kind enough to let us check in early with a surcharge of 15€. I thought it was the best decision after a 7 hours bus ride!😆
always joyful to be accomandated here
I have stayed at this hotel several times, and have never been disappointed. Great location with plenty of food options, coffee shops & supermarket nearby. Nice to have a room with coffee/tea making facilities and fridge. About the only thing I would change is the addition of an in-room safe. Friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely stay again.
Great location. Just a few minutes walk from metro station. And the bed was so comfortable.
Nice Service and convenient location near metro station. Facilities are a bit too old.

Overall, it was okay. It's not far from public transportation, but the photos online make it look much better than it actually is. The parking garage is a nightmare to use; you have to drive your car into a very small elevator to get to it, which is absolutely not suitable for larger vehicles.
The location was very convenient. Near the major attractions and train station as well as other transport options. Friendly staff and clean rooms.
Good hotel with excellent location close to everything. Breakfast was ok. Will stay here again.
Wifi barely works even though front desk said it was upgraded or fix previously. If you need wifi best you stay away.
The location of the hotel itself is good, everything is very accessible. The room was big and comfortable, beds were nice. The coffee in the room is weird, a 3 in 1 sachet, which is no good if u want black or no sugar. Breakfast is a total let down. The toaster takes ages to toast, and one isn't enough to accomodate all of the guests. Food isn't replenished quick enough and not much options for hot...
Overall a very good hotel, we didn’t experience the breakfast as bakery’s (Artizán) are nearby. But the location is spot on. Penny’s (Local store) just around the corner, tram on the next street and approximately 20 min walk or so to arrive at parliament building. You can’t really ask more from the rooms, comfy bed and decent shower.

Hotel location was great with easy access to area. It was a beautiful room and was very quiet and spacious, with comfortable bedding. The staff were amazing in booking and helping me to find things to do and places to eat during the Holidays. Would go back for sure.
Hotel was great. Good service, clean, quick check in and out. We were able to check in early. Good breakfast.
Just returned from 4 day trip to Budapest Xmas markets. Hotel location is excellent for this as just a few paces away from the main section of the Danube as well as the Xmas markets. Only negative is there is not an area in the hotel where we were able to meet...

The hotel staff is attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable. The hotel itself is clean and located in a great area, very close to Váci Street and the bridges that connect the Pest side to Buda. What I appreciated the most—and I mention this because I haven’t had this experience in other hotels—is that there was a dedicated guest kitchen and dining area. We stayed at this hotel in Budapest for 3 nights. Our family room was not very big, but there was enough space for all of us. Everything was clean, although there was a bit of mold near the shower. The hotel has a great location, close to a bus stop, the underground and tram stations, and the Great Market Hall. A convenient choice if you want to visit Budapest’s main tourist attractions.
This was our first time in this hostel-hotel format, and we were really impressed. The private bedroom and ensuite bathroom were comfortable, quiet and modern, and the aircon was a delight! The location is fantastic, most of Budapest's attractions are just a 10-15 minute walk away. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic, they helped heat up my takeaway food and even gave me some travel tips. Excellent value for money!!
The hotel's location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. It's right by the Chain Bridge and the Castle, and Fisherman's Bastion is just behind it. The room was very clean, and the bed was large and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!
Excellently located, older style hotel, wonderfully maintained, neat and very clean. Rooms are well laid out and of average size. The location on the Buda side of the Danube is just perfect for exploring the Chain Bridge, Buda Castle, Fisherman's Bastion, Matthias Church and an ideal viewing spot for the Parliament House. I found the staff pleasant, professional and polite, and they made me feel welcome...
Location is good, very close to Buda Castle funicular and Chain bridge. Some of the popular tourists attractions can be reached by walking for about 20 mins or more, otherwise there is a bus stop 2 mins away from the hotel. The room is clean & decent size although the decors & furniture are a bit dated. All staff especially on the reception desk are accommodating, approachable & professional.  Breakfast...
The hotel boasts an excellent location right by the Danube River in Buda. It's very close to major attractions like Fisherman's Bastion and Buda Castle, all within a 10-15 minute walk. In the evenings, strolling along the Danube is a must, as the scenery on both banks is absolutely beautiful. There's also a bus stop less than a 5-minute walk away, where you can buy single-use or multi-day travel passes...
The location is extremely convenient, situated in the Buda district close to the Danube River. Getting to Pest is just a short walk across the bridge. However, since my visit coincided with the F1 event, accommodation prices were significantly inflated. Positive aspects: The hotel has an excellent central location, about a 10-minute walk from Parliament, and is very convenient for public transportation. The breakfast was also very good, offering a wide variety of both sweet and savory options. Negative aspects: I was disappointed to find that in a four-star hotel there were no toothbrushes or slippers provided in the room. While I understand that...
We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The biggest issue was the room itself — it had no outside window, only an internal one, which meant we couldn’t get any fresh air at all. We also had no control over the temperature, and the room was so hot that we could barely sleep. I asked reception for a fan, which they provided straightaway, but unfortunately it only circulated the hot...
We are extremely happy with this hotel, the stuff at the reception is so polite, friendly and helpful. Thank you to everyone, especially the young ladies. The only thing we were not happy about was the...
Small boutique hotel that is a bit shabby but has a decent style in a perfect location. The staff was less that motivated, slow and just tedious to work with. Except the blond bartender in the hotel restaurant, she was capable of so much more and should be rewarded.
The location in unbeatable with the Danube, St Stephen's Square and Parliament all within five minutes walk. The roof top bar has amazing views. However the rooms let the hotel down and most do not have an outside window and are very small, even the superior rooms. Tea and coffee was not replenished, so pointless having a coffee machine. Overall, whilst the location was great, there are far better...
Couldn't ask for better! We booked hotel with British Airways as was a good price. The President hotel has a grand entrance, leading to reception. The service was good, the lobby was beautiful, the restaurant food was also good, the rooms were spacious, and the location was convenient.
First of all, you get the apartment at four and leave at ten in the morning, and I discovered this fact the night before when I received the complicated instructions for entering the apartment. On the day of departure at 10:10, a scary woman was waiting at the door. Communication with the host was very unpleasant and took a long time to respond.
I love the hotel which is big and nice and staff are very friendly!
The room is OK. The location is very convenient. The service is good. Just remember to book a table in advance when eating.
Before I went there, I asked a few friends. They all recommended the Hilton in Fisherman's Bastion. But after doing some research, I felt that the facilities were old and it seemed that I could only take photos. I had a purpose for this trip, which was to experience the glory of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. So I wanted to stay in the castle and finally decided on Hyatt's Choice, which is as famous...

Set in a lovely quiet area but well walkable to the main areas. Lovely park close by and a great cafe/bar for meals and drinks within a short distance. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Bathroom a little tired looking but was exceptionally clean and towels/toiletries provided.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The location is convenient, close to the bus stop. Check-in is only possible from 4 PM, which is a bit inconvenient, but they offered to leave our luggage there. Our room was clean, a little dated and rusty, but passable. They never cleaned the room or made the bed. We were infested with ants; we reported this to the staff, and they intervened with insecticide...
It's true that it's old and not cleaned well. It's an old building, so it's worn out. But this hotel has a unique atmosphere and is cool. It's a little far from the city center, but there's a bus stop within walking distance. (It's about 10 minutes.) If you just pay a little attention to cleaning, you'll forget about the oldness and have a great time. The hotel staff are all very kind.
The property is an old style large stone house that has been renovated. It has an easy going ambiance as it might have been in the 50s. The neighborhood is 50s style residential, but easy access to decent restaurant and great outdoor coffee shop. Easy access to bus, or 40 minute walk, over the bridge, to the very heart of the city. Service was fine enough, but no breakfast.
An average hotel, the rooms were clean but with ants, the Wi-Fi is of quite good quality, the hotel is in a good location, 10 minutes by car from the center, the price corresponds to the quality, there is a working air conditioner, but we got a damaged bed. I can't say anything about the service, since I almost never contacted it. Good for a 2 star hotel.
We chose this hotel for our one night stay during our trip to Germany. We did not encounter any disturbing situations. The price was ***et reasonable. The cleaning was very very good. ***et is suitable for accommodation during visits to Budapest.

Exactly what I expected, personal was very attentive to detail and very friendly and respectful. Will come again most certainly.
The breakfast was only fair, the rooms were cramped & rundown with stained carpets & furniture, the staff was a bit crumpy

I stayed in a deluxe king room on the 6th floor. It had a balcony, and overall the experience was very good. Breakfast was served hot, so it had to be cooked to order; other meals were buffet style. The environment was nice, the location was good, and it was convenient for getting around.
Very nice hotel in Budapest. Excellent cafe Liszt and Kindly managers 😄
This is probably the best hotel I stayed in during my three-week trip to Europe. The environment, breakfast and location are all good. There is a great view restaurant on the top floor, but reservations are required in advance.
Good location, next to the cathedral, with a SKY BAR to view the top of the cathedral. But the price/performance ratio is poor. It's a small hotel with a small facade and no obvious signs. It took me a long time to find it.
This Aria in Budapest has been in my mind for many years. It is in a very good location in the city center. You can reach many attractions on foot. The hotel has its own style, elegant environment and good service. It is worth staying.

Good location and convenient. Public transport is within 100-300 meters. Heroes square is hardly 300 meters. Rooms were clean and comfortable only thing missing was the electric kettle and complimentary coffee/tea and water. Bar opens 24/7 with many options of drinks and coffee but very limited options for food. Breakfast was good.

The location was fairly convenient. The design was more modern than the photos, but the building was old. The bathroom had some issues: the doorknob was almost falling off, and water was leaking from the shower tray. Breakfast was far below expectations.
Great location. Next to business area. Lots of cafes nearby.

Didn’t had the breakfast (pp 25€) but the restaurants were both awesome. Very good spot for sightseeing and shopping.
