My wife and I were in Budapest for a quick 36 hours and the Iberostar was out of this world! The staff was very helpful when we arrived around 10am. Wonderful and gracious staff. Very professional. Beautiful rooms. The breakfasts were just perfect, not continental but, full. Food was delicious. As a mixed couple, we were received well and treated well. This hasn't always been the case in our European travels.

It's not the most modern of hotels. Not air conditioning. Recommended bring a fan or two. No kitchens or bar. They do sell basic drinks from fridge and can make you a coffee. Bring spare towels. But as a basic base with easy access to trains and buses n local bars n restaurants. Cheap as chips

Stayed in this hotel for three nights. Modern, comfi room and very clean. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Didn't use the swimming pool but it looked like a nice place to chill. The beach is just at the end of the street, a short stroll away. And everything else is walking distance too. Good value and would stay here again!

Excellent stay, all the staff are friendly and attentive. The room and bathroom were of an exceptional standard, towels changed every day and bottles of water replenished daily. Fantastic little Hotel in the Castle District in peaceful location - friendly helpful staff, excellent breakfasts in their bistro.

The hotel service was excellent, and its location right next to the train station made public transport incredibly convenient for reaching any attraction. Downstairs, there are plenty of shops and fast-food options. The room was very clean and quite spacious. However, the soundproofing was a bit poor, and it got particularly noisy outside the door in the mornings. Other than that, I have no complaints

The room was very good. We included breakfast as well which got a big choice of food present and also drinks. From hygiene there were some curtains that had some stains. We couldn't use the radiator in one bathroom and it was quite cold there. That was the only big issue. Besides that the stay was very pleasant and I recommend this hotel for a short stay.

The location is superb. Just right in front of the railway, Keleti station and bus station. The staffs are friendly and breakfast is served. But the soundproof is really bad as you can hear people next to your room speaking, laughing and watching tv. Not recommended if you are a light sleeper.

Stayed for 5 nights! Excellent location for seeing the city, and the breakfast was fantastic with lots of options. The service is above and beyond. We used the sauna on site, visited two of the recommended restaurants (both were amazing) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Casati! Would definitely return.

My parents-in-law always stay here when visiting. It's obviously not a five star hotel but the price is rights, the rooms are clean and the staff does their best. The restaurant is pretty good as well, and the location is great if you want to be close to Gellért hill, the castle district, and just a few bus stops from the city center.

I stayed here for 1 night with my sister last summer and our room was really big, almost like a small home. I know I paid double the amount for rooms not even half as big before. The location wasn’t the best for our trip but there was an aldi at a gas station nearby. And the gentleman at the front desk was very kind.

The only positive aspect of this place is its location — it's conveniently situated. However, everything else falls short of expectations given the price. The facilities, service, and overall experience do not meet the standard one would expect for the cost. Disappointing overall.

Overall, the unit was clean, with functional appliances. However, we couldn’t use the wifi for the first day due to technical issues and the tv throughout our stay.

A centrally located Gem The entrance lobby is a little shabby, and the pictures of the courtyard are deceiving--tiny courtyard. However, the service was very good and friendly. Overall our stay was lovely, however, the property no longer has the rooftop terrace area with the views or the basilica which was one of the reasons we booked. We had plans to utilise this area instead of cooking every night, however, it is now a dental clinic. Very disappointing this is still being advertised.

The biggest convenience is the large, free parking lot.

The rooms are poorly insulated against sound : I could hear the person in the next room over snoring and all the traffic in the hallway was very audible.

The hotel is really lovely. Our room was adorable and comfortable. We were surprised by all the little things that were provided that made our stay more convenient, like shower caps, cotton buds, body wash... All the power outlets are conveniently placed and the entire place is super clean. We'll definitely be staying here again.

I have slept at more than 30 hotels in Budapest and this hotel is in top 3. The location is perfect. It has indoor parking which is very good for people travelling by car. The stuff is friendly. Coffee for free in the morning whether you pay for breakfast or not. The rooms are clean and they have anything that you need.

November 2025: What a wonderful gem in the heart of Budapest. It's at Deak Ferenc ter -- about a block from the Ferris wheel (for comparison's sake). The Museum of Illusions is in the same courtyard as the hotel. Quiet, clean; friendly staff; good prices. The metro/subway is about a block away as is the fashion street. A lot of action in the area. 3 nights in Budapest Victoria was amazing! Super friendly and gave some great suggestions of things to do in the city. Hotel was centrally located and walkable to almost anything! The room was nice, however the WiFi was spotty at best and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but not terrible.

This was such a cool concept. It’s located in an amazing part of town. The staff was very helpful and the room was very spacious. Would gladly recommend as a key place to stay while in Budapest.

Short stay vacation - Budapest I personally enjoyed the heritage of the building and the antiquity. My room 15 was well pointed, large and 2 windows. The breakfast was sufficient to get your day started. Felt like a safe area and good walking distance to main attractions.

The room is very large, with a large bed and a sofa bed. The bathroom and shower are separate, and the washbasin is only in the bathroom, which is a bit unreasonable. The National Museum is next to it, so it is easy to spot.

Amazing place to stay in the heart of Budapest, with surprisingly lush greenery just across the street. Everything available within close proximity (dining, coffee, supermarket, museums, etc). Given the low price, it's unreasonable to compare it to a luxury hotel; it's exactly what you'd expect for the cost. However, I booked it because the listing said there was private parking, but there isn't. It's just public street parking. The hotel description should accurately state that it's public parking instead of claiming to have private parking.
