Convenient location with great transport links, clean environment, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and good soundproofing. The service was friendly and efficient. There are many restaurant options nearby. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Budapest.
Really enjoyed my stay here. Bohem Art Hotel is a great option for solo travelers, offering comfort, good location, and a pleasant vibe.
The hygiene level is quite good and the facilities are quite clean. Location close to various attractions such as Central Market, Liberty Bridge, Danube River, Cruise Marina. It is a good option and you can check out your luggage for free.
Good location close to the river, room is small but comfortable, we enjoyed staying there. The area is safe and walkable distance to central.
Great service, they printed some stuff out for us. Lovely location as it is close to all of the attractions in budapest. Rooms were spacious and cosy.
amazing location. walking distance to several cafes, pubs and restaurants. Close to Buda and the Jewish quarter. Near bus and Metro stations- but still very quite and peaceful at night and early morning. the area itself felt save and nice to walk around after dark.
breakfast was nice- several options of eggs, cheese, fruits and breads. the only downside was a lack of variety between the days, but...

Hotel is good but they allocated me courtyard side room however I had booked high priced road side room …..
Bye
A beautiful hotel at a nice, quiet location close to the center (and even closer to the trams). The staff was really friendly, beds comfy, and breakfast tasty. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars was that in our case the rooms weren't too clean and there were some ants inside near the balcony and in the bathroom.
Besides that we very much enjoyed our first stay in Budapest and I highly recommend...
It's in the Buda district, and for Buda, it's pretty good. The transportation is convenient. However, I still feel staying in the Pest district is better. The hotel is very close to Buda Castle and Gellért Thermal Bath, both within walking distance.
We stayed for a couple of days here and found it ideal for us. The general decor and rooms are a little tired but it was still very comfortable, clean, and quiet. We had our breakfast included with our booking and this was a self-service sort of thing with a small selection of cereals, breads, cheeses etc. along with juices, teas and coffee. The staff were all very friendly. We found it fairly well...
The room was a bit small, and the facilities were outdated. Breakfast options were also limited. However, the staff were friendly and kind. The best part is its proximity to the Danube River, just a 5-minute walk away. Public transportation isn't very convenient in the area, as there's no subway station, so getting around mainly relied on Bolt taxis.
I spent 2 nights here with my daughter in Budapest. First of all, if you move 100m from here, you can see the Danube River, and the Szechenyi Chain Bridge and the Parliament Building on the opposite side of the river. There is a Rudas Bath near the hotel, but it is not open to those under 14, so my daughter and I did not go there. However, all the men working the counter were friendly, and the breakfast...

Overall, the unit was clean, with functional appliances. However, we couldn’t use the wifi for the first day due to technical issues and the tv throughout our stay.
The location is nice and close by everything in the city center, but definitely need renovation
Pillows are stone hard and the same mattress is, it was hard to sleep there for two nights
Will come back again soon. Lovely. Feels like home.
If I have to visit Budapest , I will definitely stay in this room . Love it …
A lovely apartment in a perfect area, central to the downtown area really close to excellent restaurants and bars. Really close to public transport.
Self check in and check out was great and the apartment itself was clean and comfortable. It was in a quiet area.
Very nice location and supprtive service! Good quality of the room and nice place to live! Very good overall.

Good location. Room a bit tiny but still ok.
Open area is a bit noisy at night but good for chill and evening chats.
Perfect location, really nice and clean. good price for what you get.
I had a pleasant stay at A&O Hostel Budapest. The service was good and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Luggage storage facilities are available, which was very convenient. Overall, a comfortable and hassle-free experience.

Stayed for 2 nights. The Western-style breakfast offered a decent variety. The room was very clean, and the front desk bar was lively at night. The sky garden in the atrium was also very comfortable. However, the kitchen having no windows was a bit of a drawback.
It went really well. We arrived in the afternoon and checked in. They were very kind on our last day, holding our luggage for free until we left. The room was nice and clean, and the bathroom had everything (even soap). Perhaps the only downside was that there was only one towel per person, which was a bit inconvenient for washing your hair.

Excellent experience at this property. Breakfast was a highlight.
Room is clean, Location is very convenient
Good location with easy access to metro and bus stop. Room is not big but very cozy.
Room includes 3 power outlets and an extra pillow. There’s no water kettle. The space is generous, and the hotel is conveniently located near a metro station, Lidl supermarket, and several restaurants. Overall rating: 5/5.
Great Location, there is a fast food store nearby, next to metro station and tram station, groceries opposite the main road.
I was satisfied with all the services. The staff was courteous, and the facilities were clean and comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

November 2025: What a wonderful gem in the heart of Budapest. It's at Deak Ferenc ter -- about a block from the Ferris wheel (for comparison's sake). The Museum of Illusions is in the same courtyard as the hotel. Quiet, clean; friendly staff; good prices. The metro/subway is about a block away as is the fashion street. A lot of action in the area. Tons of restaurants. And the 100E Airport Express...

Victoria was amazing! Super friendly and gave some great suggestions of things to do in the city. Hotel was centrally located and walkable to almost anything! The room was nice, however the WiFi was spotty at best and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but not terrible.
This was such a cool concept. It’s located in an amazing part of town. The staff was very helpful and the room was very spacious. Would gladly recommend as a key place to stay while in Budapest.
It was good & amazing and unforgettable the location was the best and everything was clean and new
Staffs are so nice and friendly. Room is clean and have elevator for luggage to use, that’s good👍
The hotel is in a perfect central location. I have a couple of negatives about our booking. Although it’s called a hotel it’s not. It’s a collection of apartments on the 1st floor of a residential building. It is VERY poorly sign posted and should have been made clearer. The hotel is on the 1st floor about a souvenir shop. However access is through large double gates to which we had not been given...

I came here on a business trip and it was great. It was worth the price.
I cannot find any flaw to the Hotel. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is delicious and the staff is competitive and polite. Highly recommend
No flexible dates, travelling for business you need a hotel that can provide flexible dates. Not good for business travels.
Excellent friendly, competent service, client oriented. Parking in front of the hotel which is a huge plus. Cosy room with large balcony and nice view over the city. Inside door to separate the room from the hall door, which helps a lot with the noise. Good water for shower, hangers in the wardrobe, clean & fresh towels and linen. We enjoyed everything.
Very nice hotel, staff, and clealiness but a bit off the beaten path. There's almost nowhere to go in walking distane and the sign says bar and restaurant but they only have breakfast. For the price it was still excellent.
Great location, comfortable bed, price for drinks or food quite pricey

Just walk couple minutes from Ferenciek station or 5 minutes from Deák Ferenc ter station and I can walk to Vuci street behind the hotel 3 mins by walk as well. I love this place about location and room.
Amenities in room were so full-options. But only one thing I didnt understand was where is heater in the room. Haha anw, I will go back this hotel when I come to Budapest again and again.
Good location and clean.
Close to everything and regular room service
Location, cleanliness, room facilities are overall okay. However, Wifi did not work with my mobile phone and tablet (my PC was okay).
Staff is so helpful and friendly. Location is easy to go to anywhere.
Great location. I found hair stick to side of sink when I walked in to the bathroom of the room we booked .

It was truly a great stay, the staff were lovely and so was the room. It was always lovely and warm to come back to especially in the cold times over there. The only issues we had were other loud guests standing in the hallways just talking at late times 2/3am and the hotel isn’t actually in the city centre like it says but there is travel nearby and Uber prices were 10 and under. But if you’re looking...
Visited in winter. Very comfortable, clean, peaceful place. My room was warm enough . "Taxi mafia" was brutal - from airport to hotel 90,000 HUF :( . They just have waited for someone tired and disoriented... So on the way back to the airport i asked random taxi near the closest metro station. At night one driver offered 20,000HUF , but in the morning i found other for 10,000HUF
Such an incredible hotel, in such a lovely part of the city. Next to tram 1 and very close to one of the main stations of Budapest (Nepliget) it is simply the perfect spot for your stay. The staff is really friendly, the breakfast was okay, but the rooms WERE ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. Also think of bringing lighter pjs than the ones you have cause their heating system is one of the most effective ones...
The mattress was too soft. The bathroom is very narrow and the shower door was broken and difficult to close and open. We were satisfied with the breakfast. It was plentiful and tasty.
I stayed in this hotel first time last year in June and again second time this year during summer. I chose this hotel because of close location to Nepliget bus station, which is very close by walk from this hotel. I was satisfied with my room, which was both times clean, same as bathroom. Stuff was nice and helpful. This year i made a sudden decision to make my stay in this hotel longer by one more...
Good location, close to subway station. Room with everything in place, air condition available. Tasty breakfast. Parking lot available inside courtyard, with surveillance.
You can also park on the street, but for foreigners the only payment option is with coins (no credit card or SMS). Also, you can only pay for maximum 3 hours at a time, you must come back and pay the next 3, etc. On Saturday, Sunday...

Nice and peaceful place to relax! Surrounded by nature - perfect for a quiet getaway from the city.
Great location walk to bus approx 16 mins . Then tram onto city. Very easy net work to follow. Stayed in chalet clean own cook area sitting room and sauna. Would recommend overall. Breakfast a bit hit and miss dependent on hiw many in the hotel
Great view, but hotel service is so-so
Nice and comfortable hotel.
Nice restaurant.
Good food.
All the staff are very kind and friendly.
Wonderful getaway from the city in the city 🥰 We spent 3 days here at Chtistmas.
Nice breakfast, cosy wooden chalets with sauna, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Just loved it.
Important to note that currently the hotel is undergoing renovation works so there is often construction workers and it is in essence a construction site. This meant some mornings there was construction noises happening. The renovation itself is an improvement- slightly more modern and in keeping with the times. The room was comfortable and nicely renovated and the beds were comfortable enough. I...
The city center area is convenient for travel. The facilities are relatively old, but the service is very warm
The room was perfect.
Large, with comfortable mattresses, and very clean.
Breakfast was limited, but acceptable.
My friend and I where here for 3 days city break. Great hotel. Really good location. Near to most tourist attractions. Staff where very friendly and helpful. It's a basic hotel but very clean and beds are comfortable. Breakfast is basic too. But very good. I would certainly stay here again.
Great location in city. Close by to all the touristy locations & the Xmas markets. Rooms were good, comfortable bed. Not a big fan of the breakfast (but i'm not a huge fan of Continental European breakfasts anyway). No lift in the building.
Such a good location in the city, we stayed for 4 nights on a room only basis, so can't comment on the restaurant or food.
The room was great we were on the first floor so didn't have to carry our luggage up to many flights of stairs, beds were comfy and we cast our streaming services to the TV on the room.
No frills but it's for sure worth a stay, pub right next door but didn't hear too much noise...

Nice hotel to stay for night.
Shower was leaking but all other was fine!
Perfectly clean room. All necessary facilities included. Very friendly front office guy (unfortunately never asked his name). Good location, just 20 minutes from the airport by car and ready close to the city centre. Also I got my room at a very good price. I enjoyed my stay!:)
Decent value for money. The breakfast was good — I recommend trying the goose cracklings. When many guests gather for breakfast at the same time, the staff struggles to keep up with replenishing food and coffee.
Rooms facing the busy road and railway are not ideal due to noise, and the curtains let in a lot of light from street lamps. The hotel’s facilities are a bit dated. A big plus is the free...
Amazing value for money! Friendly staff, great service, and thoughtful touches for our baby – crib, bath tub, and changing station, all for just a one-night stay. Breakfast was delicious.
Highly recommend!!
This now the third time returning to this hotel. Hotel is pretty decent , the rooms are tidy but a little bit small. Maybe a little complaint about the room fridge - too small and not enough strong .I guess for the price I can't really complain . We always had a very friendly receptionist which is always a good start.
If you are looking for somewhere in beautiful Budapest this is not for you. It is set in an industrial landscape a few miles outside the main city. To give you an idea the next tram stop is Magyar Aszfalt or, in translation, Hungarian Asphalt. The plus points are there are excellent transport links into the city. The 2B tram from Ken Utca, about 500 yards away, takes you right into the heart of the...
Clean room and public areas. Friendly and helpful staff; appreciated the sparkling wine left in the room on NYE. Room shower was great, too. Would stay again.
The service at the hotel, especially at reception, was excellent.
One complimentary bottle of wine is provided per room/stay.
Additional bottles are given for birthdays.
The location was good; a Lidl supermarket was right next to the hotel.
The beds were comfortable, though on the firm side.
The breakfast was good.
The value for money was truly excellent.
Some of the rooms are not soundproof...
Superb hotel! Very clean and well-equipped.
I loved my stay thanks to this hotel.
Not in the centre of town, but easily commutable. Quiet, safe neighborhood.
Good but Not for everyone!
The hotel is clean and staff is super friendly. But there is zero ventilation. With 4 people in a small room and no air or vent in the bathroom and no window to open, it was super stuffy especially at night. It’s a high tech system that relies on air filters. But it does not work.
It’s a shame. Because other than that it was a nice place
The studio apartment room was nice and spacious. Comfortable bed and we got a free bottle of wine which was nice. The breakfast was great better than I expected. The check in process was very long and annoying. It took a long time because we had to manual input everyone name and info even though they had scanned all of our passport. They need to come up with a smoother check in process.
They still...

The room was nice, we had a balcony looking out to the city which was a nice bonus but did not get much use in winter. The hotel is well connected via metro to the city but is also walkable.
The overall feeling is poor. The hotel is very small, like a converted villa. The rooms are not big, and there is no bottled water for drinking. The breakfast is very average. The location is not suitable for tourism. The price is not high.
Beautifully renovated hotel however there are issues with how well it’s run. Our room was not cleaned one day, no water in the room, no fridge and no hair dryer.
Great stay at Alice. Near museums and park. Only gripe - a little far from the center.
Excellent stay in Budapest
Excellent hotel with easy access to the main sites. Staff were excellent at the reception and in the restaurant.

The room is old. Cleaning service sid not cleaning our room everyday. Location is not bad. The alley to the loby is lovely.
I had a very pleasant stay in a spacious comfortable room. the setting is in a quiet location in close walking distance to public transport and other amenities. There was a choice of cooked breakfast and cold options. The staff were friendly and helpful
I was supposed to give ZERO for the service because check-in for disastrous, the receptionist wasn't nice at all. Giving 2 stars just because of the chef who made us great scrambled eggs
For the price I paid to stay in the classic hotel for 5days, I am fairly satisfied.
I also want to add that the hotel staffs such as the receptionists, the kitchen staffs as well as the staffs whom they kept the hotel clean and tidy, are very friendly and helpful.
Everything is good, but some people may think that the male staff members are not friendly. The female staff members are friendly.
Hotel is okay, its just little bit old, in some rooms there is no air conditioning. But all in all not bad
Brilliant location, friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Perfect for a short trip away. Shower in room 208 was comically small but didn't detract from a great stay.
The location is great. Also the breakfast is fantastic. Love it.
The breakfast was the best part of the stay, the designroom was cool but unpractical. The noise from the tram was somewhat disturbing.
Nice hotel with good breakfast. Nice and comfortable place.
This hotel is awesome..! Modern, clean and in a great location close by to the river and public transport links.
Breakfast - limited but you really don’t need more. Be warned that it does get very busy so if you have a time cap get downstairs early to avoid waiting for a table.
Reception is very helpful and guide you as well as provide good suggestions.
The hotel itself is surrounded by eateries...
Excellent hotel in great location. Rooms are clean, very quiet and well organized with excellent breakfast. Highly recommend.
Cortile Budapest Hotel features air-conditioned rooms with satellite flat-screen TV in the 06. Terézváros district of Budapest. Featuring a bar, the hotel is close to several noted attractions, around 600 metres from St.
Lovely comfortable hotel on the Buda side close to the Castle. The number 16 bus was just around the corner which was handy for getting into town
The room.waa very comfortable I would just say the bed very squeaky. Perhaps the mattress needs changed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. Thank you
A lovely hotel with everything one might need. All was fine. Highly recommended.
A small, quiet hotel in a beautiful location near the castle. It is a 5 minute walk to a bus stop with a very regular service. Public transport is very good and easy to navigate your way around.
There are lots of walking groups nearby which can be annoying but tge hotel was very quiet.
The hotel room and bathroom were spacious and clean.
I found the reception staff unfriendly and not very helpful....
My experience at Castle Garden Hotel in Budapest was great overall — the rooms were clean, the location is quiet yet central, and everything felt comfortable and welcoming. But what really impressed me happened after I checked out.
I had accidentally left behind a bag with my training supplements — they’re expensive, but more importantly, they’re something I use every day. I honestly thought I’d never...
The room was very clean and tidy, and there was almost no noise. The location and price were very reasonable. The only drawback was that the hotel was located in an area with undulating terrain, so you have to go through a long flight of stairs on the way from the bus station to the hotel. If you have a lot of luggage, climbing the stairs will be tiring. People with old age and bad legs and feet need...
Close to Fisherman's Bastion, far from downtown but cheap so it's okay. The facilities are good and there's a restaurant right next door so it's very convenient. The photo is a photo of food eaten at the restaurant. The hotel staff are also very friendly.
Nice hotel, nice rooms, amazing view to Danube, very friendly and helpful guy at the reception. Very good dinner. We had 2 rooms, 6th floor, the kids room was ok, but ours not so clean, we saw a lot of hairs on the floor in the room, in the bathroom. It seemed like it hadn’t been properly cleaned. One of the tea cup had coffee spots... We found the bottle of water in the minibar half empty, probably...
The photos for this hotel are overselling it a lot - I'd guess there's probably one room that looks as spacious and luxurious as the photos. It's quite a basic hotel, nothing exclusive.
Positives were: The location is great, really good restaurants and bars nearby, next to some of Budapest's biggest tourist spots and good for tram connections. We paid for a castle view room, which was good & possibly...
Great for a weekend break and close to all the sites. Great views of the Danube and the Pest side of tbe city.
The room itself was just ok, but the location was great. I would definitely stay here again.
