I have spent my Christmas holidays in Mumbai. My wife and I. Hotel location is very ideal. Personnel very very gentle and supportive.

Budget friendly ; clean bathroom ; room need to upgrade with lil maintenance; spacious room if you select that particular room ; like room no.101 or 102 ; these two rooms are in front of reception; both room has big window open toward Taj Mahal palace hotel ; ventilation is good ; sunlight too ; water bottle will provide to you once you check in ; Later you can refill RO water from refill station ; small balcony where if you want to sit you sit it’s a common balcony as you see in picture too ; WiFi available but slow speed ; common bathroom mean shared bathroom ; it’s not your private bathroom ; others guest staying also use the bathroom ; but it’s clean ; ventilation nope ; for 1-2 days in mumbai in Colaba such location price & room is justify ; I am happy with my small 02 night stay here ; friendly staff ready to help if you ask anything

The property enjoys a happy location: in the center of Porto close to everything. All the tourist attractions are within walking distance. There is a nice terrace where you can have coffee or tea or consume food/drinks brought from outside. I highly recommend!

Very nice stay . One of my friend suggested this place. It was worth the amount . Good property, good staff , good service . he location was relatively convenient to Market street - walkable with luggage. Some god value restaurants close by. Felt safe. Great beds. Appreciated the bath and shower option

Located just behind the Taj Mahal hotel, the location is the best advantage of staying at Carlton. Very close to popular food joints like Leopold, Mondegar and Bade Miyan. There are 2 types of rooms - with and without attached washroom. There is also an option of 2 double beds in one room for family/group of 4 persons. Rooms are generally clean and comfortable. There is a cosy sitout overlooking the street to enjoy a cup of tea/coffee. Friendly and helpful staff make your stay pleasant.

Not what you expect be careful when you book.
I booked a double room with a bathroom and veiw over Mumbai city. At check-in I was given a room with out a bathroom, no window and a mattres at floor level. When I complained I was told that my window was on the other side of the building down a corridor.

Best place to stay on Colaba! Just behind Taj Mahal hotel, very helpfull staff, great location. Just few steps to India Gate, Loepold Cafe, Gokul, where is all night life. To Chattrapati Shivaji terminus is 20 min walk. Strongly recomended, in march i'll stay there again :)

good hotel to stay in colaba, Mumbai. only thing is to share bath rooms, ok bath rooms also well maintained. we can access all places in mumbai staying in colaba, This is budget hotel to stay in mumbai

The hotel has a really good service with professional staff. My stay went comfortable as the rooms are well cleaned and maintained. The staff are helpful and on service. I will surely recommend the hotel and will also visit it again. The great budget friendly hotel.

Booked a table for 3..Ambience is quite ok overall.. The music is very pedestrian and felt like I am sitting in a local taxi,which I have no issues with but given the ambience it could be better.
Cocktails were refreshing.. The Rum Along Captain was citrusy and refreshing.
The Lucknowi Seekh was lightly spiced and perfect, as was the doodhwaley Kebab. The Tandoori jhinga was the star of the show.. Spicy and each prawn the size of a small fist.
For the mains, the Namkeen Gosht was light, with cashews and cream. Mutton could be more tender. Indian salmon was good too.
Desserts were pretty run of the mill.
Overall a good place but some slight tweaking can bring them up to their own Taj standards.

The place is over hyped. We ordered lucknawi biryani...it did not sit well with our palate. Very limited veg options...the ambience is nice

Amazed to see management of Bademiya. What 'zugad' to make car bonnet into a table to serve food with just putting one coke bottle underneath.
Food served hot and very tasty. With so much rush even at 11:30 pm you enjoy the express service. After food a man with handy basin appears and you can wash your hands, gives napkins. You may notice he is keeping the area clean picking any littering aroung.
Non veg and Veg both options available. Mutton dishes got finished so we had chicken and veg preparation.
It is an experience eating at Bademiya.

One of the few places that started on the road side and now a landmark. Very much known for it mugalia non veg food and also has good veg options. It is open till late at night. You find the street full with people in their cars also in the sitting area. Service is fast and it's good enough for a single person or groups too. Overall if in South Bombay then a must visit for some delicious food.

Best non vegetarian option in town.. simply park your vehicle and start eating on your car's bonnet.. they place some good old beverages glass bottles below your car bonnet.. n turn it into a dining place.. quick service.. lovely food.. variety of options in Sea food.. chicken and mutton..

OK, it is top money for what you're getting but the food is nice. Like eating outside but actually sat at a table. Portions are small so be prepared to a) wait for larger orders and b) order more when you're still hungry.

Very famous and well known restaurant in Mumbai... It is present in the Colaba area and is present on the main Street.. the ambience here is good and also the service is very responsive and quick. The best point being the food here... The North Indian food is amazing and also the dessert options are nice. The place is not so expensive and will have a good experience overall.

We planned on having a full meal over here but ditched the place just after having the starters didn't like the taste as much I'm not sure what was wrong. But it just didn't taste right. I looked up zomato and found good reviews for ustaadi and it turned out to be really awesome !
