When I show up at front desk for check in, they said there is no reservation for me. I showed them email received from ******* with the details of payment I made at the time of reservation. It didn't help. They even didn't know about ******* reservation. I had to find room at another hotel.

Tv was not working, no Hot water available on both days,lift was not working when needed, was not a good & comfortable stay at Chennai Gate hotel chennai

One of the worst hotels I have come across. The Hotel extremely well in Make My trip website. I looked into the photos and booked with a trust o I paid for my stay .But when I reached it was totally different. Dark building, No lights, smelly rooms, broken ac switches, Horrible. I strongly recommend to remove them from their website. We step in to the room and within 10 minutes we left the premises and shhifted to another hotel. I strongly request Make my trip to arrange for full refund of my payment and also remove them from their portal.

The hotel location is good, just opposite to the Egmore station main entrance.
Had an easy check in, but the room given made me a little worried. First the key lock was very much damaged which makes me doubtful about security. The second room ac worked but the control panel/remote is not in room when enquired they informed call us we will ask attender to adjust if needed. Third the room toilet has a bad smell, towel fully dirty which was fully disappointment.
I thought they were given the room for the sake of making booking.
So only 3 star.

The hotel has an amazing location, just opposite the station you just need to cross the road. The staffs are well mannered but the rooms have very low maintenance.

Hotel is very basic, what you would expect for price range, location ok opposite Egmore metro and easy direct access to airport. Hotel itself is run down, rooms fairly large and ok, limited hot water. I only stayed for 1 night and it served its purpose for me on a 24 stop over. Think hotel is more for the local market and the area doesn’t have a lot to offer for western traveler’s.

Hotel located close to egmore and restaurant available close to it. However, the toilets are not good and the buildings are very old.

The property location is very good opposite of egmore railway station and metro station. Rooms are good. Maintained properly

Hotel is located just opposite to egmore station. Check in and check out was quick and smooth. Rooms were maintained reasonably good. Overall an average stay for a solo traveller.

Reducing my rating to 3, I’m a regular here.. but...staff seems to be have changed.. they’re not responding like before...really disappointed.. order was not taken properly.. I just said a repeat of what I had.. and they gave something they wished.. the bill was wrong in the opposite table as well.. focus seems to be more on collecting money unlike before!!
Update - I have fallen sick after the above instance. Juice was probably made with rotten fruits and that made me pay a huge visit to hospital. I gotta think twice before stepping into this place next time.

i loved the flavor of juice n grilling of sandwich too is quite good...ambience is good. ...music is good.....people are also warm.....prices are relatively little higher....yet it was my choice to opt for it cuz i go fruit shop ocassionally....that too greams road the first of its i like it a lot

They are not able to maintain the quality of juices. The sandwiches are all below average.
