The rooms are clean and comfortable, close to the beach and market, convenient for travel, the staff provides excellent service, and the breakfast is decent.

Located at a very busy area, where the bustling streets are lined with clothing vendors.
Was upgraded to a huge 2 room suite. However, it was next to the meeting rooms where there were a dozen seated students awaiting their interviews for all the 4 days I was there. Getting to my room meant having to walk past a row of seated students.
Although the room was clean, the shower cubicle was not. The edges were filled with black mold.
The staff were helpful and friendly.
Overall, I did enjoy my stay.

The suite was quite large, and the cleanliness and service were all good. The food in the restaurant was also quite good. There's also a Bangladeshi restaurant where you can try Bangladeshi cuisine. The meals were quite international, with some Indian specialties. Overall, I was quite satisfied.

We stayed at The Peerless Inn, Kolkata for two nights. The overall experience was pleasant.

The room and bathroom were excellent—clean, spacious, and comfortable. A special thanks to Ms. Neha at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful right from check-in and arranged our room very quickly.

We are especially grateful to Mr. Somnath, his hospitality truly stood out. “Thank you” doesn’t feel enough to express our appreciation for his kindness and service.

We also had the chance to try the Aaheli restaurant for authentic Bengali cuisine. Every dish was absolutely delicious. The restaurant manager, Mr. Sanjib, was very warm and made us feel truly welcome.

The breakfast had a good variety and the food was delicious. However, the staff at the breakfast restaurant were not very polite and lacked a welcoming attitude or smiles, which slightly affected the morning experience.

Overall, our stay was wonderful, except for the breakfast restaurant staff’s attitude. We would definitely recommend Peerless Inn for its great location, comfortable rooms, and exceptional hospitality from key members of the team.

Ok but the service is really poor. Its not the staff’s fault but the twenty member of staff stood by reception doing very little. Many complaints from other visitors. Check in was a mess, room was a mess , someone should really clean under the bed, one lift out of service and the other rather slow so we walked most times to the 6th floor. They ask you to order the egg and/ or dosa from the station but no one delivers these to your table so they go cold for breakfast. If you wait by the station you get told to sit down. Nice location just lots of annoyances really.

After few months I have been to SongHay with my family. I had some good memories of visiting this restaurant since my childhood. During my last visit few months ago I came to know that the ownership has been changed and the ownership has been changed, they no longer served port, I had their special double happiness soup and few other dishes. Yesterday I took my daughter and wife and thoroughly disappointed with the food. We ordered Double happiness soup and and their signature Double happiness chow mien and crispy chicken. the double happiness soup was not like it used to be before, in fact the last time I had few months ago was better. But yesterday I find the shrimps were smelling and the shrimps/prawns used in chow mein was smelling too. The crispy chicken was very spicy I mean very spicy, very very hot. The chef has used generously ginger in all the dishes, may be to kill the smell of prawn s that was either rotten or getting to rot.

So friends If you plan to visit this food joint please keep this in mind and better to avoid prawn/shrimp dishes. In fact the food has deteriorated and started to go down . Avoid if you can this restaurant, good for having beer may be not for food anymore

It is the best biryani store in this area. It provides Biryani as well as lots of others spicy foods. The qualities of the foods are very good. It is located in a very nice area. It is easy to notice it from the traffic. Everything in this place is excellent in terms of quality.
