I am spanish citizen, stayed at the Sonnet Hotel for a month for work in Kolkata and the experience was fantastic. It's a truly great hotel with a fantastic, very professional and friendly team, always willing to help with anything. The housekeeping service is attentive and the hotel is spotlessly clean. The restaurant and bar are very good, with excellent à la carte food. And the reception staff are always attentive to any needs. Excellent in every way. I travel to India often and, comparatively, The Sonnet is a great hotel with a fantastic location and good metro connections. Highly recommended. Thank you very much! Emili Room 502

I have been there for dinner and right from entry to exit, all the staff was very cordial and was very professional in the service. Particularly to mention Mr. Pradip who always had a smiling face and helped in suggestions regarding the menu and was prompt in service.

Not a high end place at all, if you are looking for a posh place. But amazing behaviour by the staff . Personally, I love this place. The food is finger licking good . The drinks are super cheap with their menu card themselves declaring - Happy Hours All Day. The place is so cheap with its price that it is almost unbelievable.

I booked for a Christmas buffet and got highly disappointed. We went for a brunch on 24th December afternoon. The list of the food that was given on the menu were missing from the counters. I had to call the staff repeatedly and order things which were supposed to be in the spread out buffet. That was embarrassing. Sonnet is a big brand and yet the kitchen staff doesn’t seem to know their duty properly! I kept waiting for the food to arrive from the buffet menu. The same happened with deserts as well. There was nothing there for desert other than the yule log. This is unfair. You promise us a lot of food and you highlight and advertise your special Christmas menu, you charge a lot, but you end up not even serving half of the said dishes. If sonnet doesn’t know how to serve why is it sill in this kind of buffet thing. Stop making fools of us. Not recommended at all. Telling all my friends not to visit sonnet at all.

Went to Sonnet for the second time. This time for the dinner buffet. Quality wise no complain at all though the variety is bit less. It starts with 5 starter and salad, in main course 5 veg and 4 non veg items are there apart from the rice and noodle. The ambience is nice but the best part of it the courteous and helpful staff, which makes your experience more delightful.

The place is good for relaxing with friends after a tiring day. The food is good but in small quanity. The hookah has almost authentic flavours. The ambience is nice, along with the screen that shows sports mist of the time.
