The property is massive seems a bit old , I did not like the food served it was not as per my expectation. The room service response was poor. The location is good and the stay Was peaceful.

We stayed at the Zone by the park hotel gor 3 nights on a business visit to Kolkata and it was a mixed experience. Below is a comprehensive review of our stay. The good: 1) We had a 8th floor room which was spacious and had a safe, tea/coffee and good air-conditioning. 2) Breakfast was great with excellent kitchen staff who are attentive and courteous. 3) The hotel us secure with security at the gate and reception with bag scans happening frequently. 4) Staff are great and helpful. Could be better: 1) The room wasn't sound-proofed properly which meant we could hear noises from the corridors and other rooms. This was especially a problem when a group occupying multiple rooms on the 8th floor decided to throw a party late after 1am in one of the days which we had to call security to clear out. Notifying guests of quiet hours at check in and strict implementation of it can alleviate that. 2) Deliveries needs to be collected at the gate which is located far from the hotel. Would have been easier to collect at the reception. 3) Rooms can benefit from a deep clean once in a while, we found a lot of dust and dirt behind TVs and tables. 4) There's a lot of shoddy work in the room, taps that open counter-clockwise, closets that doesn't close properly, light switches that doesn't do anything are some of the examples. The bad: 1) Bathroom shower was badly designed. The water drain was on the higher side of the shower tray so the water was collecting and had to be pushed out to the drain to empty the shower tray. 2) The first room we were given on the 5th floor had black mold on the blackout blinds in the room. 3) There's an open area we have to walk across to get to the lobby which fills up with water that stinks, not sure what the purpose of this is. Overall a good hotel but there's a lot of room for improvement.
