Fairfield by Marriott Hotel in Kolkata

Had a fantastic stay at Fairfield Marriott! The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Chef Prasanta was absolutely amazing - super helpful, took great care of all the guests, and his service was top-notch 🌟. He went out of his way to ensure we had a great dining experience. The food was delicious too! Rooms were clean and comfy. Highly recommend this place for a chill stay, and if you're looking for great service, ask for Prasanta 👍.

We booked a single-bed room for two nights but at check-in the staff informed us that only a twin room was available as the hotel was fully booked. It was a bit confusing how the room allocation was managed. On the second day, we were moved to a single-bed room as originally booked. The bed was quite small, but still acceptable. The room itself was clean.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating..i checked in late but the staff is still very friendly and helpful to help us and even allow a later check out.. That's an amazing gesture!!
And the hotel breakfast is amazing, food is great and the tea..wow just love the tea!!

I had a very pleasant stay. The service was excellent, and the staff were courteous and helpful throughout my visit. The breakfast was great with a good variety, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was impressive. The only downside was the location, as there aren’t many food options available nearby. Aside from that, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely recommend the hotel.

I recently completed my stay at Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata, booked through your platform. While the booking process and stay experience were satisfactory, I would like to highlight a concerning pricing discrepancy.
The rate quoted on Trip.com was approximately 40% higher than the price offered directly by the hotel for the same room category and stay dates. This difference is significant, and frankly unexpected, especially considering that I am a Diamond member with your platform.
As a valued member, I expect Trip.com to provide competitive or preferential rates, not higher than what the property itself offers. I request a review of this pricing inconsistency and an explanation of how such a large variation occurred.
I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your response and a resolution that ensures better transparency and fairness in pricing for loyal customers.

The hotel is excellent, breakfast and dinner are good, and they allow me to do late check out for free! I give 5 star for the best service

Had a great stay, would’ve given a 5/5 but for some reason during check in the receptionist kept insisting that she could only give me 2 x twin bed room for 6 people even though I’d paid for 3 x twin bed rooms. Maybe she was confused but it’s not what we needed after a long journey (especially even after showing her my booking confirmation).

However in saying that, everything else was great and staff are super friendly and attentive.

I stayed at this hotel with my friends and booked a separate room for myself. The hotel kindly arranged a room for me on the sixth floor with an amazing view of the city of Kolkata.

The front desk staff were extremely helpful and polite, especially the gentleman with glasses at the check-in counter, who always fulfilled my requests and addressed any complaints promptly. They even allowed us a late check-out because our flight was delayed, which I truly appreciated.

My room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The amenities provided were of high quality. The housekeeping staff were polite and clearly took pride in their work.

The security staff at the main entrance were also very courteous and always ready to help — whether it was providing small change for delivery drivers or Uber payments. Special thanks to Raghunath, one of the security team, who helped us load over 60 kilograms of luggage into our Uber when we were heading to the airport.

Overall, my experience was exceptional. The kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness of the staff truly stood out. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and colleagues visiting Kolkata.
