ARTOTEL Haniman Ubud in Ubud

I think we picked the perfect spot.
Super friendly & helpful staff. From security, to reception, to the cleaning crew and drivers. Everyone was pleasant to deal with. Most of the communication was done through Whatsapp. Both before and during our stay. This worked well and removed the risk of things being lost in translation. The room was clean. The pool was kept clean every day. I don't think we saw another person at the pool other than the cleaner. Plenty of restaurants & coffee shops near by and within walking distance, with a string of clothes shops to spend your tourist dollars and the main town centre also within walking distance for bars and markets and sightseeing.
Organising a driver for day trips or half-day trips was super easy and very reasonably priced. They were knowledgeable and flexible to what we want to do (thanks Banush for finding all the hidden waterfalls for us).
Highly recommended for that away-from-the-tourist-areas trip that we were looking for.

This place doesn't really have hotel amenities or even a front desk; it feels more like a guesthouse than a hotel. The water quality isn't great, so you'll definitely need to bring your own water filter. The spa about 20 meters away is very comfortable, and you can walk to Yoga Barn. The location is pretty good.

Although there was no toothbrush, the room was spacious and clean. All the hotel staff were kind and always smiling, which made me feel good every day.

The room on the first floor was a little damp, but it didn't really bother me. The facilities were quite new. There were free yoga classes, which was a shame because they were too early for me to attend.

The hotel's location is great, with easy access to transportation. It's only a ten-minute walk to the Monkey Forest. The hygiene was decent, and I occasionally saw an ant, which is understandable given it's a tropical region. The facilities are good and it's quiet, so I slept very well. The service at ARTOTEL Haniman Ubud was exceptional – very warm and proactive in offering help. The spa is also worth experiencing; I even fell asleep during the massage. They also offer free yoga classes on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

Great location, walking distance to a big supermarket, easy access to central Ubud.

Try to choose the room facing inside. Our room was facing traffic & can be quite loud but you can request fear plugs.

This was my first trip to Bali and first time solo travelling. I had a wonderful stay at Artotel Ubud I felt safe and well looked after. The staff were so lovely and super friendly. The restaurant Flock next door has amazing food and staff are warm, friendly and welcoming. Everyone at the hotel and Flock were super!
I had a ride to Seminyak with Putu he was amazing! We stopped at waterfall on the way that was a perfect little hidden gem. Putu shared his knowledge about Bali and love of culture and traditions and his favourite place in Bali - UBUD 🥰 Highly recommend!!

It is new, very clean, organised and high attention to details. They even had towel art, a lovely spa, free yoga and security. Highly recommend this place. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Also very responsive to texts. The location is great - close to yoga barn and sayuri so for me it was great but also the rooms were super quiet.

*The breakfast was amazing, with a complete selection of everything you need to get through a long day in Ubud.
*The room was clean, the temperature was easy to adjust, and the coffee machine was the best addition to the room.
*The internet connection was superb. My husband was able to work online with no problems, and my son could just chill in bed watching YouTube.
*It felt like home. We'll definitely be back!
