We had a wonderful stay at Purana Suite Ubud. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, the room was beautiful and spotless, and the whole resort had a peaceful atmosphere.
One of the highlights was the Balinese Cultural Dinner. The food was delicious, and the traditional dance performance made the evening truly special. It was a fantastic way to experience Balinese culture.
Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Purana hotel in Ubud. The staff was super-friendly (ALL with a big and warm smile).
They were very helpful and competent with all of your requests. The room (with terras access to the pool) was clean and well-maintained.
The hotel was located near the center, so you can walk to The Monkey Forest, other highlights and the many good restaurants.
You just need to watch out for the busy traffic in Ubud.
Next to that, they offer a traditional dinner combined with Balinese dances.
It was a spectacular event and very beautiful to see. The traditional food was delicious.
We will surely comeback to this hotel and will certainly recommend it to others. Matur Suksma! 🙏🏻

Spent two and a half weeks in travelling around Bali and this was absolutely our favourite accommodation. The staff were so lovely. We arrived super late after a delayed flight and 48 hours of travel and they were able to do us lovely sandwiches despite the hour. The room and the entire hotel was gorgeous, stunning concrete and wood architecture. Super comfortable bed. The breakfasts were by far the best we had during our whole trip. It is located very conveniently in Ubud and we could walk to so much of what we wanted to see. Really fantastic experience

I highly recommend staying here! Everyone at the hotel was incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout my stay. The location is also perfect — very close to the walking streets near Ubud Palace and the famous Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary.

The food at the hotel restaurant was absolutely delicious, and the massage services were so relaxing. They also offer many fun activities and classes, such as morning yoga, wood carving experiences, and local Indonesian cooking classes, which made the stay even more memorable. Oh, and if you love Indonesian sambal terasi sauce, you can also learn how to make it here! 🌶️✨

I stayed here room 822 for 5 days, and it truly felt like home. No matter what issue or request I had, the staff always did their best to help with genuine care and kindness. It was incredibly thoughtful, and I honestly can’t recommend this place enough! ✨

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during our visit to Ubud. While the staff's friendliness and helpfulness were truly commendable, the physical and operational shortcomings unfortunately overshadowed their hospitality. Here is a summary of our experience:

Breakfast and Pricing Discrepancy: Despite having breakfast included in our stay, we noticed a frustrating inconsistency; the portions served when you order and pay separately from the menu are significantly larger than the portions served as part of the "included" breakfast. Furthermore, the prices for extras are quite excessive. We paid approximately 5 AUD for just 2 slices of bread. For the same price, you can enjoy authentic Indonesian national dishes at high-quality local restaurants nearby.

Room Comfort and Humidity: While the rooms are spacious, they have a very strong smell of humidity and dampness. Additionally, the beds are exceptionally soft, which significantly impacted our sleep quality.

Maintenance Issues: There is a noticeable difference in upkeep between areas. While the main building and the restaurant area appear well-maintained and stylish, the rooms do not receive the same level of care and feel neglected.

Noise Issues: The hotel is located on a main road right next to a busy junction. Due to this location, the traffic flow never ceases, resulting in significant noise pollution. It is not a suitable choice for those seeking the quiet, peaceful atmosphere Ubud is known for.

Summary: Despite the kindness of the staff, the stay fell short of our expectations in terms of value for money and overall comfort.

This is one the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room, the amenities, the services, all are excellent. And the staff is a treasure, we really really loved the hotel. Don’t hesitate and book now.

The check-in experience was not very good. I booked a triple room at an additional price in advance. The platform said it included a double bed and a sofa bed and three breakfasts, but when I arrived, I found that there was no sofa bed in the room. The staff said that I needed to pay extra. When communicating at the front desk, a female employee had a very tough and impolite attitude, and even asked us to communicate with the platform ourselves. Later, the manager came forward to communicate with the platform to clarify the misunderstanding and help us add an extra bed. Employee training needs to be strengthened. The traffic jam near the hotel is very serious. I had to get off the taxi and walk back many times, otherwise I would be stuck in the traffic jam for more than half an hour. The biggest advantage is that the hotel breakfast is one of the best we have ever eaten! It's very rich and delicious, the ingredients are fresh and delicious, the dishes are beautifully presented, and it is a wonderful experience to dine in the gallery!

I was deceived by the photos and high ratings. This hotel is positioned as a high-end Ubud-style B&B. In order to attract young Australian customers, it has made some messy gimmicks, but the actual quality is ordinary.
The room is newly built. The one I stayed in has a swimming pool balcony. It looks beautiful in the photos, but it is actually the low-cost decoration standard of domestic B&Bs.
It is located at the entrance to the southern suburbs of Ubud, and the congestion is the worst. It looks less than 3 kilometers away from the palace, but this road in Ubud is the most congested, the sidewalks are very dirty, and it is inconvenient to walk or take a taxi.
The service problem is even worse. After I complained to Ctrip, they also compensated me part of it. I will add more next time.
During the peak season of Christmas in Ubud, this hotel had no guests at all
