The staff was very concerned with our comfort, the pool and surrounding grounds was beautiful. The hotel restaurant was average for food options. The gym was not great. Overall for a night or two of relaxing it’s a great hotel. If you want to go into Ubud there is a shuttle. We shuttled to Ubud to get a grab taxi more easily.

We stayed in a villa with a private pool and the room was wonderful. The pool could have been a bit cleaner, but it didn’t take away from the overall comfort of our stay. The food was very good, and the staff was extremely polite, warm, and helpful throughout. We also tried the Balinese massage and had a lovely experience. The shuttle service felt slightly on the higher side compared to market rates. We had an early morning Mt. Batur sunrise tour, and even at 3 a.m., the staff welcomed us with smiles and kindly offered room cleaning service, which truly reflected their hospitality. Overall, we had a very pleasant and memorable stay.

If being quiet and luxury is the case, then this resort is your next destination. This place is about 2 miles from the main road that connect the Ubud center and the iconic Tegallalang rice paddy. You will go down the slopes and climb up the valley to find the hectare of rice paddy, where the resort sits on the one corner.

My stay at the Son of Granary Resorts and Villas in Ubud was absolutely amazing. I had a wonderful time capturing the beauty of the area and participating in the activities they offered. One highlight was biking around the lush rice paddy fields and visiting a nearby waterfall, especially on that sunny day—it was perfect! The room itself was beautiful, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, with lovely wooden textures that added a warm ambiance. Plus, the scenery was breathtaking, especially in the morning when you head up to the restaurant area and overlook the rice paddies. Another memorable experience was watching the Balinese dance performance during dinner, which truly enriched the evening. Overall, it was an unforgettable stay!

Also thanks to my tour guide Dayu, who helped me filmed content and some pictures with my camera and also gave me so much information during the tour :)

The place was beautiful—peaceful and relaxing. The room was charming and had all the amenities we needed. The staff were genuinely kind, accommodating, and very understanding. Just a heads-up: it's surrounded by rice paddies, so you’ll hear crickets and other nature sounds, which actually add to the ambiance. The road leading there is a bit dark and bumpy, but it’s definitely worth it. We’ll definitely return!

What a beautiful place to stay in. Lost in the rice fields and the nature of ubud. The hotel facilities is great with a great staff and service. We fell in love with their welcome drink (holy fresh) a must try. The room is spacious and nice. We had our private pool so even better if you want to be alone. Not too far away from ubud center so quite good to go there for a bite or just to walk around to temples or some markets. A lot of nice restaurants, bars and coffee shops shops.
