Sthala, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Ubud Bali in Ubud

This hotel offers excellent value for money. The surroundings are beautiful, and the front desk and restaurant staff are very welcoming. My Marriott Platinum status was recognized, and I received a room upgrade and late check-out after linking my member account in advance. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to Ubud Center, making transportation very convenient. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The overall facilities and breakfast buffet were just okay, but the staff's enthusiasm was truly contagious – even for an introvert like me! The surrounding area is lovely and perfect for unwinding. The complimentary afternoon tea had a decent variety, though there's definitely room for improvement in taste. I had hoped that synchronizing my booking on the Marriott app would count towards elite nights, but I guess I was being a bit too optimistic, haha.

Stayed at this location for a few days! The room was nice, clean and spacious. I really enjoyed my stay here and would come back again. The breakfast was really good and they have a live noodle station which cooked up delicious indomie! I miss it

The hotel environment is really nice. If it hadn't been raining, we could have walked around the extensive grounds, which also have entertainment facilities. The staff service was excellent; everyone was smiling, and they helped carry our luggage to the room.

About a 20-minute drive from Ubud center, which isn't too far. Downstairs, there's a tributary of the Ayung River where people go rafting. The hotel is nestled in a valley. For around 300 RMB, we got a package that included breakfast for two and afternoon tea – you really can't beat that value for money! One staff member, I think his name was Bintang, was incredibly helpful and enthusiastic in assisting us.

Just a heads-up: avoid rooms 01-07. They're right by the street and very noisy, making it impossible to sleep.

Nice facility kindly service

Visited Bali in December and saw that this place had great reviews. The room was huge, and it was a fantastic deal at around 3000 RMB for 4 nights, probably because it wasn't peak season. The staff also knew it was my birthday and thoughtfully prepared a card, a small cake, and some decorations – it was such a kind gesture. I'd love to stay here again next time!

The room had an incense smell, but they immediately moved me to another room after I requested it. Since it was the rainy season, the room was a bit damp, but once the staff realized, they provided a dehumidifier.

The hotel staff were very welcoming, greeting me warmly throughout my stay. They even remembered my name and preferences. When I scraped myself swimming, the staff helped me find medical supplies. Afterward, hotel management asked if I had slipped or needed any special assistance and even offered to take photos for me. The gym is basic but has treadmills, ellipticals, dumbbells, and shoulder/back machines.

The pool view is excellent, and the water quality is good. The hotel's bottled water is fine; I didn't get an upset stomach, so it's safe to drink. The restaurant's breakfast offers a good mix of Western and local specialties, very rich and nutritionally balanced. Lunch and dinner are more international. The mosquitoes were really annoying; during one dinner, it seemed like I was the only one they were biting! When I needed to break a large bill, the restaurant staff were happy to help. They also offer a free shuttle bus to Ubud Center.

Excellent service from the point you reached the hotel lobby. We are welcomed by the staffs' smiling faces, towel and welcome drinks.
There's a free shuttle provided and a 2 layered stunning pool. I have visited the rooftop Naga Bar and the cocktail drinks are having buy one free one after 9pm.
Breakfast is really good with the variety and up to my surprise, you can even order pizza and fresh juices which they freshly made.

We've stayed here for 4 nights and have a wonderful stay. I've paid extra for an upgrade to a Jungle Suite room. Used this as our base to see around Ubud and Munduk. Its very peaceful and the sound of the river is very soothing! Enjoyed the facilities the day of the Bali flood.
The breakfast is excellent with wide variety of foods. Service of the staff is top notch. Had an amazing massage in their Tahara Spa.
