The Samaya Ubud in Ubud

I loved this place!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and honestly I couldn't think of a better place to stay.

The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond. Upon entering the resort we had loevely welcome drinks. We booked a balinese massage and it was DIVINE! Most especially after being on an 18hr flight.

The food was magnificent from breakfast all through to dinner.

When we wanted to go on a coffee tour but not sure where the staff organised for us to go on a tour nearby and it did not disappoint.

The drivers they use were amazing. We were staying in Amed after Ubud and their driver had taken us to some beautiful spots on route which made a day of travel feel like a private excursion.

The rooms are very large.

Despite being so close to the centre the resort offers a tranquil vibe and a lot of peace.

I'd agree with another comment suggesting the lighting is dim, near the sinks or vanity desk of recommend white lighting (especially for doing makeup!).

If I could request Ubud Village Resort could add anything, it would be a bar in the evening away from the restaurant.

A perfect hotel. Lovely, spacious, spotlessly clean and superbly equipped villas. The staff are helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was very good, and at dinner there was a brilliant live performance by Ponk. A brilliant young and talented singer who invited my daughter to sing a song with him. A wonderful experience for my daughter. We would definitely come back here again.

We had an incredible family vacation at The Ubud Village Resort & Spa. From the moment we arrived, we experienced top hospitality from the entire staff. We visited in May of this year and it has taken me a little while to write my review but this wonderful resort will be in my memory for a long time! Visiting with a young toddler and at a stressful time we had nothing but kindness and care from the wonderful staff, from the upgrade on arrival to a truly luxurious suite and amazing customer service to the lovely food, idyllic surrounds, to the baby playroom. We are so pleased to have stayed.

I stayed at Ubud Village Resort for eight nights on my honeymoon with my wife, and the only word to describe our stay is exceptional.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was warm, friendly, and always happy to help, making our stay even more memorable.

The breakfast was fantastic, with a great selection of fresh, delicious options that changed each day. Enjoying breakfast while overlooking the beautiful rice fields and the resort was the perfect way to start every morning.

Our villa was spotless and very well maintained. While the décor isn't ultra-modern, it was elegant, spacious, and extremely comfortable, with every amenity you could need for a relaxing stay.

Thank you to the entire team for making our honeymoon in Bali so special. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend Ubud Village Resort to anyone visiting Ubud.

The hotel is built along the mountain, and the villas are very private. There are two restaurants, one on the top of the mountain and the other at the bottom of the valley. You can try both restaurants for different views. The food tastes pretty good. The hotel service is worth praising. When the air conditioner broke down in the middle of the night, someone came to repair it immediately, and also brought temporary air conditioners and fans to relieve the high temperature. The hotel has a free car to pick up and drop off at the center of Ubud, which is very convenient for travel.

Property is a little aged but it's clean.
The living area of the villa could do with a little more lighting.

Service was good. Staff friendly. Free afternoon tea was nice. There's Shuttle to centre too. Can easily grab there too.

Highly recommed the spa. We enjoyed the couple massage v much... masseuse were v skillful...

The a la carte breakfast is perfect, the room and the swimming pool are in good condition, the hotel is a little off-site, the only thing I am not satisfied with is that the hygiene details are not in place. There was a problem during the stay, and Ctrip followed up and solved the problem in time. The relevant staff of Ctrip are very responsible in this regard.

The hotel is built along the hillside. The mountain villas and river villas are at the bottom of the valley. The environment is good. Afternoon tea and dinner are average.
