It was a great experience at Sankara Resort. Everything was so clean and staff were friendly and very helpful. Ambience was very beautiful and peaceful. Surroundings was very romantic and calm, I have no complain with this resort or the staff. I have tried food at their restaurant and the fruits were so sweet and coconut water was worth of having. one of the staff member helped us for capturing photos, and making our stay more memorable . I am already missing everything from this resort. Thank you sankara resort and the team for making our holiday so memorable.

The construction happening next door is very noisy and should be made clear to guests before they book. There was compensation of a free drink for the loud noise but that is not really adequate. We would have stayed somewhere else if we knew it would be that noisy. We did also complain about the price of the laundry and the shuttle bus leaving 25 minutes late from Ubud centre, and we did receive a free massage in compensation, but I don’t think I would stay here again.

The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool the spa and the restaurant was fantastic. There was a small mistake; massage charged to our account that we did not receive. Once we noticed they were happy to refund and the money was returned straight away, they were very apologetic. The grounds were so beautiful. We went in off season so it was very quiet. There is a fantastic restaurant just up the street called ‘sacred rice’ it was also amazing. Would recommend. Would return :)

I stayed 4 nights.. lovely place , great staff too and the restaurant great breakfast a lot options to have . I recommend this place to stay.

The entire stay was amazing! It was truly a great experience to stay in such a beautiful place! The breakfast in the morning always had me ready to tackle whatever activity I had planned every day and the staff were very kind and helpful! I I hope I can return some time real soon!

We just stayed for 8 nights at the Sankara for our honeymoon and absolutely loved everything about it. To start, we had a one bedroom pool villa (Bima) that was gorgeous. It had the perfect amount of privacy and comfort. The cleaning staff were great and made our room like new each and every day. The staff were excellent. Always greeting as we came in and out without missing a beat making sure we had everything we needed. 2 staff members we’d like to point out are Ronney and Roseana. Ronney is a driver and he was the best. He showed us around all the local food spots, the cultural places and also some fun places Bali has to offer. He was with us the whole time taking pictures and taught us a lot about the Bali culture. Thanks Ronney!!
Roseana was a masseuse and she gave me the best massage I’ve ever had. I recommend the spa. It was worth every dollar.
Bar drinks were great, the food was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. We give the Sankara a 10/10. Thanks for having us and making our honeymoon as amazing as it was!

Amazing resort and villas. Just the most beautiful property. Tranquil respite from the bustle of ubud, but still close to the monkey forest and good restaurants. Villas exceptional lovely spacious and a great pool. Would stay again.

We had a dinner booked at 7. The place started to catch up around 8 and even then there was only a few table. Not so busy place, but with way too many options on the menu. (I doubt they can keep all the ingredients fresh at all time) They welcomed us in a very warm friendly way, asked our name once and since then everybody called us by name, very nice extra touch from the staff. If you around it’s worth a visit because of the nice staff and the atmosphere but definitely found better food around Ubud for a much better price. I paid 430.000++ rupiah for 2 sparkling water 2 starter and a sharing plater. Too expensive

Very informative free tour, they tell you about the coffee process from the tree to your cup. (Via the cat's belly and intestines if that's what floats your boat)
Taste testing all kinds of tea and coffee (also free), friendly staff with a lot of knowledge and fluent English makes this a fun and interesting place to visit for about 1hour.
They also have a shop if you want to buy some coffee and tea. It was great tasting, so we got some of the coffee to take home!

The place is nice and you get a nice sampler of their teas. Buy something from the shop, but not much;definitely overpriced..

I like the concept and the location. They start with a little tour where they explain how the coffee is produced. Actually, we wanted to try a real Luwak Coffee. But we ended up trying 12 different teas and coffee as well. It was for free, because they want you to buy something afterwards, the Luwak costs 50k. But the strange thing was that the guide was all the time at our side watching us trying all the liquids, just sitting there and watching. We felt so uncomfortable and pushed to buy some of the teas and coffees. We didn't buy anything that's why she was really pissed and unfriendly in the end. All in one, I would not go there any again, that's why it's just one star.
