Hotel Alba Chiara in Finale Ligure

A decent stay, but with a few flaws

I stayed at the Hotel Alba Chiara for one night during a short sports vacation in Finale Ligure. The hotel is centrally located, convenient for getting around on foot, and the room, though simple, was clean and equipped with everything you need. The comfortable bed and good breakfast, with sweet and savory options and fairly flexible hours, are definitely pluses.

That said, there were a few things that left me a little perplexed. The price, considering the category (one star), seemed rather high. Furthermore, I didn't appreciate the pressure I received via WhatsApp throughout the day to communicate my exact arrival time: I had already indicated that I would be arriving late in the afternoon and would have preferred a more relaxed approach.

The most negative note, unfortunately, was the very strong smell coming from the bathroom, likely from the sewer, which made the room unpleasant despite the cleanliness and the obvious use of bleach.

In short, a clean and comfortable hotel, but with some management and structural details that could be improved, especially considering the asking price.

One-star hotel although in a good position, practically on the promenade of Finale, the building is rather cramped and is on the 3rd floor of the structure. The room was clean, but with an unpleasant smoky smell, the rich and abundant breakfast is perhaps the only thing worth noting.
The service seemed a bit poor to me when I checked out the girl from the hotel showed up after about twenty minutes.
