Hotel Belle Epoque in Sanremo

Honestly, this hotel isn't worth the high price, and on top of that, it's very noisy. The windows aren't properly insulated, so I slept badly.

Pluses: friendly staff of the hotel: general manager and his assistants are helpful. Room in old style of 19 century for those who likes this style, everything is working there, looks like in the pictures.

Minuses:

Nonrefundable amount for the 2nd week of my cancelled stay in the hotel.

Noisy street under the window, a lot of cars, bikes and emergencies with sirens are passing by all the time. Breakfast is for extra payment, vegetables are missing, cheese was not good, yoghurt was not tasty.

Sanremo city itself is very disappointing. Streets and sea promenade are very dirty, stinky and overcrowded, sea is green, polluted, swimming caused allergies on my skin. The air in the city is extremely polluted as well: a lot of bikes and cars, very stressful. Food in the restaurants is not tasty, average, in some of them it is impossible to eat at all.

I don't recommend to visit Sanremo to anyone, because it is waste of money, spoiled vacation, for a crazy big price.
