Il Sole di Poggi in Imperia

We've been here twice. We're delighted again. Mario and Michela are wonderful owners. It was our wonderful stay!

We stayed in September 2025 and had a wonderful time.

The hosts are exceptionally friendly and attentive to their guests without being intrusive. The rooms are modern and very clean.

We would especially like to highlight the superb breakfast: many homemade specialties and a variety that stands out from the usual standard hotel offerings.

The last stretch of road to the accommodation is narrow, but easily manageable with careful driving, even in a Mercedes GLE.

We will definitely be back!

Perfect place!! Very good location, very friendly hosts, nice pool, beautiful view, tasteful breakfast. Everything you need for a pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

We spent a short romantic week at IL SOLE DI POGGI.
Everything was perfect!
From the friendly and relaxed welcome, to the clean and tastefully decorated room, to the varied and colorful breakfast!
We will remember Michela, smiling and warm, as well as Mario and his perfect playlist to accompany a beer by the pool!

Michela and Mario are super hosts in their beautifully decorated home. Sweet, spontaneous and interesting people. Everything was great and very neat! A lot of casual attention for their guests. It is very nice to communicate with them. The design is surprising, down to the smallest corner of the house, the room and the garden, and is above all the work of creative DIY Michela. We also found this every morning at breakfast. Super tasty and daily variation of our own creations, sweet and savory, in the products and decoration. In the afternoon at the lovely swimming pool we were also surprised a few times with a nice little gift! We received appropriate answers from Mario to all our questions and tips for visits, for example a smaller, local, good olive producer. The ideal location for trips to beautiful nearby towns and small villages in the Ligurian Alps. There are also plenty of fine dining options in the area.
We wish you many more years of pleasure and satisfaction in providing your guests with a pleasant stay in the same warm way!

We’ve been 7 days in this absolute wonderful place. We just arrived back to Switzerland and are already missing Michela and Mario and their warm and kind way how to take care of their guests. We felt at home honestly I felt leaving a dear friend. The place is amazing the rooms and the whole property designed so nice everywhere you could find every day something new. All is made with so much love and taste. All extremely clean and well maintained! The view the pool and the breakfast amazing. All homemade fresh cakes and bakery salt and sweet homemade jam every day a new surprise. The tablecloth changed also everyday with cute decos. We loved staying at il sole di poggi also the cute Carolina cat and his friends helped us getting over us missing our two cats at home. I hope we can get back one day and encourage all to go there you will not be disappointed . Thanks again for having us. I ll upload some pictures. Big hug from Cristina.
