Hotel Iris is a nice little hotel that I stayed at as the base for rewilding hikes run by Much Better Adventures out of Pescasseroli in Italy. The shower was good water pressure, the beds comfortable, housekeeping visited the room every day. Great location, excellent breakfast , friendly and helpful staff... but rooms in need of soundproofing , you can easily hear everything in the surrounding rooms. Not to mention the wooden headboard which is very uncomfortable for Tv watching.

Beach is near, restaurants also. Parking inside hotel area cost extra 10eu per night (but not so much space, I think you should reserve at the summer season if you want to get in). This is our 4th year in Roccaraso. This hotel is in the perfect location with parking. Hotel is basic, but very clean and comfortable with the best bar in the village attached to it. Lots of good restaurants within short walking or easy driving distance. The ski slopes are a short 10 minute drive away.

I hadn't skied for over 36 years but my daughter persuaded me to join my grandchildren and son-in-law to join them this February at the Roccaraso ski resort in the Apennines. We based ourselves at Rivisondoli, a fairly small centre but the experience was well worth it. Fun, adventurous, and scenic. Even though I went in the early season with not many slopes open, I still had a blast. Catch this place in the second week of January and you should have yourself some fresh powder covering all parts of this place. Not to many variations for food, and a little pricey. The best hotel so far in a 3 weeks travel around Italy

Delightful hotel, Alfredo was so helpful and his team so attentive and hard-working. We left before breakfast time (train to catch) but were offered some anyway, which was very kind. A nicely-furnished room with balcony, a great dinner and a lovely stay. We would return without hesitation.

Hotel Royal is a value for money, very basic hotel in Vasto. It's clean and simple. The aircondition is centralized and timed. You need to call them to turn it on and it takes a while for the room to cool off. Food is very basic too. Breakfast, there's not much option. Lunch and dinner is just ok nothing exceptional. We spent a single night here and were guests at a wedding so I can't comment on value for money. But the place was quiet and clean, the bed comfortable, the room not too big but not bad either.

Great seaside motel. Family run, clean and comfortable. The restaurant was only open on weekends during our stay but Mama's pasta was sure amazing! There are lots of good dining options close by as well.

Hotel with a beach Our room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel is placed right next to the beach for those lovely beach walks. Breakfast consisted of quite a lot of cake selections which did not appeal to us. The staff were very cheerful and helpful. Food outlets and shops just a short walk into town.

Overall we had a good stay here. The room was nice and had superb views from the balcony, the staff was extremely friendly, and breakfast was decent. Our only problem was that the heating in the room was not enough to keep the room warm on a cold March night, so we were a little cold while on the room.

The restaurant: excellent home cooking with good raw materials. A little too eighties structure, clean rooms on a human scale, the triple attic can be dramatic in living spaces. Services: swimming pool ideal in summer, meeting points for absent children in winter. Location: excellent near the ski lifts in winter and easy to take paths in summer, even close enough to the town center.

We ate very well in a well kept environment. If you are looking for a place to taste typical Abruzzo dishes, this is the place I recommend.

Time seems to have stopped in the 70s, complete with furniture etc. The bedrooms and bathrooms are quite large and if you are lucky you can see a beautiful panorama from the room or the terrace.

finally a hotel with proper beds! It's a bit of a "time machine" with a return to the Seventies, at any moment I expect to see Renzo Montagnani, Ugo Tognazzi come out and what's more there is a breathtaking view from the Popoli gorges, to the Gran Sasso to the Adriatic. Fair price.

The location of the B&B is close to the historic centre and about a 25 minute walk to the beach or to the main shopping area of pescara. An out of the way spot on a very cute town. People were friendly and helpful. I would go back and stay long taxi charged a bag fee… which felt like a scam. The hotel has an automated check in that was clear. The door to our area needed some love. But the staff in the morning and the very convenient restaurant was super quaint.
