Spacious room, very kind and helpful staff, nice pool and well-equipped gym

The pool is closed in winter. The hotel is located outside the city center, close to the trade fair grounds. A very average hotel, with clean rooms, clean bathrooms, a modest breakfast, and unfriendly restaurant service. I don't miss it.

I spent a morning at the spa followed by an aperitif lunch at the hotel restaurant. It was a fantastic experience. After relaxing in the spa, I was pampered by the wait staff and chef with excellent dishes and a delicious fruit aperitif. Compliments to Chef Francesco Mauro. I recommend the Spa + aperitif lunch package for anyone looking to relax and enjoy an excellent post-spa aperitif.

Bus service to beach or to town for those with no car would be great.

Elegant hotel deserves all four stars, spacious and quiet rooms, renovated bathrooms with fine fixtures, panoramic balconies all facing east with spectacular sea sunrises. Top-notch restaurant and breakfast, especially the excellent pastries. Young cook with good hand and young table service very friendly and experienced. reception staff smiling and courteous. SPA offer very extensive for cosmetics and massages , only cold showers and Kneipp to take care of faucets. Whirlpool well functional to attend if not crowded, very convenient location, large tiled pool 70ies US style

The hotel is tiring now. Been going since 2010. Having young children with me who wanted to use pool we ensured the children could play and splash there. This was confirmed to us, by email in advance. However reality is that certain people who i could not conclude if they worked there ensured the children feared playing - shame. They are children and they will splash, its a family hotel and NOT a romantic stay. So if you dont want to receive a splash of water, sit further away from the pool, there is plenty of room. Some of the staff, dont know his name but worked late behind reception and Israel were endearing and gave a more positive vibes. Whoever the lady was that turned up around 4-5pm most days to try to stop children splashing, these are the same children and not just mine who had been playing there all day - DO NOT SIT ON THE EDGE OF THE POOL OR ON BEDS NEXT TO POOL. Get a life, they are children making memories.

Relaxing and enjoyable stay in Catanzaro Lido.
I spent 4 days at the hotel in July. The hotel is situated on a hill overlooking Catanzaro Lido. It is a 15/20 minute walk to the train station / town centre. I am reasonably fit and managed it despite the heat. The other option would be a taxi. The hotel is nice and the room allocated was spacious, clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was a bit loud for me to sleep at night so I turned it off. The room was cleaned each day and new towels provided. The breakfast provided was adequate with hot and cold options. I didn't use the spa when I was at the hotel but used the well equipped gym and the swimming pool which was excellent. All of the staff I encountered were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend the hotel but bear in mind the location if you don't have access to a car.
