Blue Bay Resort in Capo Vaticano

Positives Fabulous views, beautiful pool area. Superb restaurant staff who were always happy and efficient. Food was always lovely and was buffet breakfast, 4 course lunch and dinner which you chose from the daily menu. The rooms were very clean and the bed was extremely comfy. The shower was amazing. The furniture around the pool was the best I have ever seen, you could sit there all day in comfort. Negatives The resort hires out the whole pool area and bar for private functions and holiday guests are not allowed to use the pool or pool area when a function is held and there were 3 held in our 1 weeks holiday. The pool is also closed from 1pm until 4pm and there is no shouting etc allowed ( so you must keep your children quiet ). There is a kettle in the room but no cups or spoon. The air conditioner was not in use while we stayed end of May. The coffee machine at breakfast was a joke as it kept running out of water or milk and there was sometimes a 15 to 20 mine wait It's a shame as it is such a lovely hotel

The outdoor space is pleasant. I expected better food options and quality. Drinks should be included in full board option.
