Hotel Gemma in Ischia Town

The beauty of the island of Ischia. A good property with some improvements that could make it excellent. Excellent service, helpful, and courteous staff and owners.

The cutest room, with an amazing view and large terrace, could not recommend enough this place!

Staying at Gemma Hotel is just so comfortable, nothing is too much for Domenico, or Marco. It’s a family run hotel in a super easy location, the rooms are still the same size and beautifully clean as they were when their grandmother Gemma ran it. Breakfast is delicious with home made cakes as well as savoury foods. The pool is fun, big with a jacuzzi and outdoor shower to make those hours of relaxing at the hotel a lot of fun. The Casamicciola spa bus shuttles guests to and fro. Public transport bus stop is just across the street and takes you anywhere you need to go on the island. So staying at the hotel for a real holiday is perfect. I went out of season and the price was reasonable.

Kind staff, great breakfast w/view, lovely rooms!

A wonderful family-run hotel on the beautiful island of Ischia. The owners are very friendly and ready to help with any questions. I loved the room – spacious and bright. I had a room with a large window and a sea view. The interiors are full of details that make you want to explore them. Delicious breakfasts. The hotel has two pools – I stayed in early October and used the swimming pool and then the hot thermal pool with hydromassage. The pools are open until 7:00 PM. There's a large thermal park opposite the hotel if you need it. There's also a bus stop next to the hotel, which takes you to any part of the island – very convenient. The center of Casamicciola is a 7-10-minute walk away. The hotel exceeded my expectations. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I'll definitely be back!

Owners were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast option was a wise choice. Our room had a fabulous large balcony with a view of the ocean. Warm pool and hottub were very welcome and hotel was steps away from the bus stop. Great end to our busy visit to Italy.
