Relais il Chiostro Historic Courtyard and Panoramic Terrace near Sorrento in Massa Lubrense

Beautiful!!…

At first we were scared, but then Sergio received us with great courtesy and professionalism, he immediately put us at ease, he explained the structure of 1500 and let us visit the terrace and took us to the room. They are not very big but they have everything Smart TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning in short everything you need to live a perfect experience. He advised us where to eat and what to do. We booked a fantastic excursion to Capri and rented a scooter to visit Positano. Unfortunately breakfast was not included, with a small extra we booked it for 2 days, abundant Italian and it also made us find cold cuts and fresh fruit. Thanks for everything we'll definitely be back in October

magnificent place, Inside a convent. a quiet and peaceful location. incredible and beautiful terrace with a view of Capri. the director Sergio very kind and always available, very professional, He gave us excellent advice. thank you! very clean room and has everything you need for a stay. breakfast is not included we had to book it separately. 4 magnificent days

Il Chiostro, a former monastery is a 75 euro taxi ride outside Sorrento, at least that is what we were charged. Maria is very helpful and friendly but be aware, there is no bus service to the Relais and it is a 600 metre steep uphill walk from the main road. Impossible if you have luggage. The only practical way to get to Sorrento is by bus walking down and up the hill unless you rent a car or scooter. There are no restaurants in the vicinity although Maria can arrange a free ride to and from a restaurant in Annunziata, a village relatively close by. The rooms are small, the bathroom is good for one person at a time. It is peaceful and quiet, breakfast is adequate but think carefully if this is the right place for you. In the end we were ok but I can’t say this is what we expected.

Good view from the window (there is a lemon orchard right in front of the rooms). The breakfast was good and Maria was helping us with everything we needed. Nice location just 19 minutes by car to Sorrento.

This was one of the highlights of our 10 day tour of Italy. Antonio, the manager, was exceptionally friendly and engaging. The converted monastery was beautifully renovated and very comfortable. This is a perfect base to visit Sorrento and/or ferry to the Amalfi coast or Capri.

The place is very unique , Sabrina is very helpfull and sweet, the amenity need a little improvement , but overall the place is realy good! One thing , on friday you can not park near by
