CHOOSE MORE: Let's start with the arrival at the B&B (without breakfast, however, it already makes you laugh like that). I was contacted the day before on whatsapp (unprofessional from my point of view) to ask me about arrival time. I gave clear instructions between 11 and 13 depending on the delays of the Italian trains. The owner is sick and therefore delegated everything to a certain Andrea who then I was contacted by a certain Mario. When I arrived at the Dante stop, I wrote to the contact person that is Mario and he tells me that he is at work until 12 and can only come at that time. If the check-in is from 11 onwards it must be so point. We spent 40 minutes waiting like real Mongolians at the entrance until this subject finally appeared to give us the keys. His explanation was: but a bit of waiting doesn't hurt by now I had to work. In addition, the people near the B&B were doing too much our business (now by nature but details). We arrive inside this building, there is not even an elevator. We get to the room it seems nice too bad that you can hear only the screams of the neighbors because instead of the voice they have a megaphone. I tell him “at least after waiting 40 minutes the tourist tax could take it away or make half of it (€ 10 in two for 2 crazy nights)” and he tells us that it's not possible. The toilet (see photo) is a hole that only a baby can almost fit over it and is in bad shape. The entrance door that you have to lock with the key otherwise it always opens. There were ANTS everywhere! Lousy. The shower had cold water because no one explained to us that here, being in a somewhat degraded city, you have to plug in the water heater positioned above the shower (I find it super dangerous because water can get there). And we had to wait almost 2 hours for it to get hot. Non-existent cleaning. There was hair that wasn't ours in the shower, really disgusting. Also nonexistent electrical sockets (one on the right side of the bed and one behind a wardrobe near the door of the room). Really don't go there waste of money.

A nice room inside the owner's place. The landlord was friendly and very nice. He gave us information about places that we can visit and where we can have a meal. The room is located in a quiet area, cozy and tidy, very spacious, inclunding a nice terrace from where you can observe authentic neapolitan living. It was a positive experience.

Our experience was horrible. When we arrived at the property and realized that we did not have wifi (because the description said so and we did not see it) and that many things were not working, the owner wanted to cancel the reservation because he said that “we had many problems”. Basically we demand what we pay for. The owner is rude and rude. He called booking ahead of us, knowing that we didn't have Wi-Fi or gigabytes on our cell phones to be able to communicate.
At all times he addressed us in a bad way and without intending to reach an agreement or help us, taking into account that we did not have internet without being able to communicate with booking at the time. He told us that if he canceled the reservation he would decide whether or not to return the payment in full or part of it.
The owner addressed us in an arrogant manner knowing that if he canceled we would not have the possibility of finding another accommodation and even when all this happened he no longer tried to make himself understood in his language. He told us that we were not welcome and that if we did not like it, we should find another place. When we wrote everything for booking, he told us that we were liars.
The description of the apartment indicates that it has a microwave and it does not have a microwave, it only has an electric oven, it indicates that it has kitchen utensils and elements to clean and we were two people and there were only 2 forks, 1 knife, 6 soup spoons, there were only two cups for breakfast and one was broken, also had no detergent or anything to wash the dishes. Then I had plates and pots.
In the room we found ourselves on the ceiling with a single lamp which only had one lamp of the 6 that the chandelier allowed, that is to say that at night you could not see anything. Nor did he open one of the two windows that the room had, when we arrived the owner told us that it was broken and that the dining room space could not be used to eat because the ceiling lamp did not work (something that one of the permanent tenants told us said it was like this 3 years ago). We could only have lunch/dinner at the table in the room or on the terrace.
The toilet board in the bathroom was broken and every time you sat down it moved.
In the kitchen there was no hot water coming out of the tap. We had no kitchen paper or anything to dry. There were ants in the kitchen, the TV in the room did not work. The noise of the neighbors is heard and it should be noted that it is a first floor by stairs that is quite uncomfortable.
During our stay it rained and when we woke up in the morning we had part of the room flooded and the kitchen too, the floor dryer was broken and we didn't have any floor cloths to clean.
I always book through booking and I never had this kind of problem, a horrible experience.

The good points of the accommodation were that it is spacious, quiet, with air conditioning and close to the historic center and the metro.

But I've done many bed and breakfasts that weren't "five star", I think I can comment on the quality of your accommodation which leaves something to be desired.

The accommodation was dirty, whether it was the floor with stains, the dirty bathtub, the bed cover, the kitchen, the mold in the freezer, the very dirty pans, the ants in the kitchen…

Then there were many things missing that should have been mandatory like soap in the bathroom, washing up in the kitchen, cutlery in the kitchen. The list on booking was not respected.

In addition, for the welcome, the minimum would have been to speak or write a few words of English rather than staying in Italian, which we do not speak. We are foreign tourists.

It is easy beyond these elements to improve the place without being a "five star" such as with leaflets of things to visit in Naples, a map of the city or things like a kettle with tea, Coffee…

Owner stubborn and does not feel responsible for any problems. Allows himself to judge his clients…

To flee !

Nice big room but the hellish street noise forces you to stay with the windows closed. The cleaning of the room and the bathroom is poor and upon arrival you don't even find a bar of soap. The couple who live there on a permanent basis occupy the entire small fridge and don't worry about making noise by banging objects or yelling or cursing. The heat is suffocating and forces you to stay with the air conditioner on practically all the time, unless you want to wash because then you have to turn it off otherwise the current goes out together with the water heater. The owner is very helpful if any problem arises. The location is great for tourists. No wii fi or breakfast.
Excellent structure for adventurous youngsters with little pretensions.

Enchanting place, "entering is believing", a beautiful panoramic terrace (unfortunately not visible from the road) where it is possible to admire both the Rena Bianca beach and Corsica with the beautiful Bonifacio mouths. A very reserved and not very chaotic environment where you can listen to sweet and gentle classical Neapolitan music in the background. The cuisine is very good and genuine and I was able to deduce it from the freshness of the ingredients which is no small thing and enhances the different nuances of the course, the pizza is also excellent, a true Neapolitan classic. Good service, what can I say .. I recommend it!
