Palazzo Doria Napoli in Naples

The building and hotel public spaces are luxurious, and the location is convenient, within walking distance of museums or the beach. The room I was assigned was rather small, without a table, and dimly lit. The chairs and bed were comfortable, and the high ceilings made the space feel spacious. There was a subtle fragrance in the room upon entering, and the bathroom was very clean. The mini-bar was complimentary; while not high-end snacks and drinks, it offered a wide variety and was thoughtfully arranged, although the coffee machine was rather dirty, so I hesitated to use it. The breakfast staff were especially friendly and welcoming, the coffee was well-made, and the food selection was plentiful and tasty. The front desk staff were also friendly, proactively offering assistance and introducing the hotel's specialties. Because the hotel is relatively expensive, my review is more stringent than other hotel reviews. Overall, it's worth experiencing and I recommend it for couples; it's a very romantic place.

Built atop two 16th-century houses, the hotel took 18 years to complete. While exploring the hotel, I was struck by its maximalism; the ceilings and walls were adorned with murals and stucco. Vintage pool tables, crystal chandeliers, and handcrafted mechanical door latches constantly imbue guests with a sense of historical depth and a unique palatial atmosphere.

The hotel has only six guest rooms, accessible only to hotel guests. Each room offers a complimentary minibar and toiletries, a rarity in Europe.

The location is also excellent, right in the heart of the city center, surrounded by numerous small shops. We packed some cold dishes to eat on the balcony, opened the door, and played some background music – life should be like this.

The hotel booking includes two breakfasts, but the breakfasts were truly mediocre.

However, about a ten-minute walk from the hotel, there's a Michelin-recommended restaurant. Their potato dumplings and seafood pasta were incredibly delicious, a truly unforgettable experience. The steaming hot noodles, piping hot, with their enticing aroma, filled my mouth – a truly divine experience!

It's great, conveniently located, yet quiet despite being in a busy area. The main gate was closed at midday; we walked around for a while and didn't realize it was in the middle of the road. The rooms have high ceilings, and we couldn't see any other guests even after having breakfast.

The service was excellent. The front desk could help with things like calling a taxi, and the staff were very happy to assist us. The guesthouse was beautiful; see the pictures for yourself! I hope it can be upgraded to a hotel. It's a shame such nice common areas are unused. The coffee shop and bar were closed, and there were no staff at night. Of course, for now, it's just a guesthouse, so it has to be this way.

Beautiful and unique place. You are staying in a an amazing historic property with all the comfort needed. We enjoyed every minute. Breakfast was delicious served by the kindest and attentive lady!

The absolutely unique stay experience is to live in the palace, with a super beautiful palace bed, and a wonderful light and shadow aesthetics in the breakfast room. If you have time, you can savor every inch of the architecture and decoration. It is unique. Retro billiard table, scoreboard, early European-style desk, complicated crystal chandelier, super high room height, all doors and windows are old manual mechanical door plugs, which will definitely bring a unique stay experience in Italy.
The hotel is located in the Spanish district, and it is within walking distance to the Ronaldo Memorial and some attractions on the coast.
It should be noted that the hotel does not actually have a parking lot. You need to park your car in a nearby parking lot. The overnight parking fee is 40 euros in cash. Fortunately, the service is in place and will help to contact and arrange.

This was the BEST hotel in my life! When I booked it, I couldn't imagine how GREAT it was! If you are still thinking whether to book it or not, then stop thinking and book it immediately. You will not get such emotions anywhere else. The interior is luxurious, the breakfast is amazing... and even drinks at the bar are all included. We left it with the thought of coming back! Perfect experience. Perfect environment, perfect location.
Living in the palace, outside the window is the city boundary of Naples. Looking down, you can see the old times of several centuries, and looking up, you can see the new times of this era. It's like a microcosm of Naples' chaotic and warm eras.
The hotel has a sister named Imma, who is as warm and sincere as the business card of Naples. There is no formulaic service language, only the care and concern of an intimate old friend. Breakfast consisted of fresh ingredients that she bought from the market early in the morning by riding her bike. When she didn't go out on rainy days, I heard her tell the story of the new owner of the palace. It's a pity that I only stayed for one day. I'm very grateful to have met her.
