Hotel Helvetia in Grado

This is a small family hotel of some 30 rooms, most with balcony, located a few hundred metres from the town centre and walking distance from the paying beach nearby. The hotel offers reliable wifi, a small refrigerator, and air conditioning. The rooms are somewhat dated and fairly basic, and there are some minor maintenance issues – the basin was partly blocked, the toilet flush tended to get stuck, the shower sprayed water all over the bathroom, etc. These could be checked and fixed by careful daily inspection of all the room’s facilities. Breakfast was great, with good choice and good quality. A great plus was that the hotel offered bicycle rental (first hour free!) and electric scooters at 2 Euro per hour. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Katarina, the receptionist. Overall, a pleasant stay, recommended.

Nice family own hotel on quiet island Grado, run by Kasia and Oreste. This two are guarantors of nice atmosphere and professional service.
Chef Sylvio will surprise you with home cooked dinner in buffet style. You have selection of traditional Italian sea food and every aspect of Italian cuisine. Take a moment and have a chat with Silvio, he’s so passionate about he’s kitchen.

We had a most pleasant time here. Best thing about this place is their wonderful personnel who gave their best to made our stay here feel like home. Next time we’ll come with gifts for them all! ❤️

It was clean, with air condition, self parking place (only 4eur per day). I will say to other's, for 60 eur for two person it's a good place.
Near is to many things to see, placec for visit, for eating (pizzas, icecream, and other), walking, shopping.

Simple hotel, with clean rooms, with old but well-kept furnishings. Excellent attention to customers, with always friendly and helpful staff, a point of merit is the catering with non-trivial and tasty dishes. An excellent quality / price ratio
