Trastevere Roma | UNA Esperienze in Rome

The hotel's location is excellent, offering a quiet retreat despite being centrally located. It's just a 300-meter walk across the River Teviot. The breakfast is high quality, with a select but delicious range of options, including rice and steamed dumplings.

We very much enjoyed our 6 nights stay at Trastevere Roma | UNA Esperienze. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. We got a free room upgrade and there were sweets and fruit surprises in the room, very much appreciated. The location in beautiful Trastevere is good, with direct bus connections to the most important sights and the city center. The rooms are beautifully designed and very clean.
Daily exchange of towels and pillows was a bit excessive in our opinion.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Trastevere neighborhood. The staff were very kind and helpful, the room was immaculately clean. Even next to the elevator, it was quiet in the room despite people coming up and down. It’s right around the corner from an amazing gelato place, very close to the river and pretty walkable if you are able-bodied and like to walk. There’s a great lively area with bars and restaurants about five minutes from the hotel, but the hotel itself is very quiet. The restaurants right next to the hotel were quite touristy for dinner, but before seemed to have a more local crowd for apertivo. The room we stayed in was quite spacious with a large bathroom as well. The only downsides which could just be my American ignorance of how things work in Italy were: the toilet has a very powerful flush and water leaps out of the toilet when flushing. The shower doors also did not seal properly for me, so after every shower, I created a puddle just outside the shower I had to clean up. We walked with no trouble to: the Vatican, Spanish steps, trevi fountain, colosseum and forum, etc. if you gave yourself about 45 minutes max, you could walking to pretty much all the sites.

This was a lovely hotel. I was very impressed with the daily maid service. In fact I left a generous tip for me and my sons. I had an issue initially with one of the lights being out in the bathroom. It took a day but the situation was resolved. The staff was courteous and provided good recommendations for restaurants. I really appreciated the bell service and tipped generously.

The only issue I had was with the restaurant for dinner. It appeared that better service was given to other groups that were NOT AMERICAN. It took a while to get service and not once did anyone check to see how our meal was. It was later and we would have wanted dessert but no one bothered to ask us. When it came time to get the check it took around 15 minutes. It seems that they were trying to figure in the discount that was provided for those staying at the hotel. The food was o.k. but not as good as other places in the area. After waitng over 10 minutes for someone to even take our drink order we were ready to walk out but we were tired and it was too late to deal with some place else.

Breakfast was plentiful and the staff was nice.

I was very pleased with the amount of light in the room which seemed to be a rarity in the other hotels on our trip.

Trastevere Roma | UNA Esperienze offers a highly comfortable and stylish base in what is arguably one of the best neighborhoods in Rome.
The quality of the stay is great, though one significant detail prevents a perfect score.

The Location is Perfect:
The hotel's location in Trastevere is truly one of the best in Rome. This historic district is full of charm, buzzing with a fantastic energy, and is absolutely plenty of restaurants and bars for any taste and budget, all within an easy walk.
It offers the perfect blend of local atmosphere and convenience for exploring the city.

Facilities & Comfort:
The quality of the facilities and rooms is very high. The design is modern and fresh, the bathrooms are excellent, and the beds are wonderfully comfy, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep. The hotel’s communal areas are equally appealing, especially the rooftop bar which offers great views and a selection of good cocktails, perfect for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing.

The Only Hiccup:
My one major reservation is the cost structure for breakfast. The hotel asks a hefty 30 Euro for breakfast, whatever you happen to take. If someone is happy with just a cappuccino and a croissant, there are authentic bars right outside the hotel that would be asking you 1/10th of the price. The lack of flexibility here is a clear premium charge for convenience.

In Summary:
If you can overlook the fixed high cost of the breakfast (or choose to enjoy your mornings at one of the charming local cafés nearby), the Trastevere Roma | UNA Esperienze is a brilliant choice. You get style, comfort, a great rooftop experience, and an unparalleled location in the heart of one of Rome's most lively districts. Highly recommended!

Lovely stay

Great location in a very fun neighborhood with a lot of cafés, restaurants, and small shops. It is very easy to walk to major sights from here or by tram that is easily accessible in 5min walk from the hotel.

The rooms are nice and clean and good enough for a city hotel stay. There is a nice rooftop bar where you can enjoy a discount as a hotel guest on food and drinks. The breakfast buffet was a bit messy due to service, but it offered everything I needed.

I would definitely choose this hotel again for a city escape to Rome.

Hotel is clean and we like the location and also the neighborhood. Service is not exceptional - some staff members are friendly and some made me feel not welcomed. I will likely try a different hotel when we come back to Rome next time.
